Best chippy in Hucknall in my humble opinion. The quality of the food is great & the staff are lovely. This place is really popular & queues can form at peak times, so pre-order is recommended .

Looking for fish and chis for tea . I stopped here on way home I was a few minutes early for opening time but they saw me cross the road and head for the chippy a very nice lady opened early for me . Very enjoyable meal. Thank You.

Really good service - always friendly staff. Chips and kebab can be hit or miss. Sometimes chips are crunchy and lovely and doner kebab is great - when they are busy the standard slips, kebab meat greasy and chips taken out too soon so not quite right. Generally though very tasty and the best in Hucknall that I've used

Went here to get a chippy dinner for 5 people. It was very busy, but with a staff of at least 10 behind the counter, our order was efficiently processed and quickly put together and wrapped so we could be on our way. A great place. We have been before and we will go again 👍👍

Amazing chippy, best around the centre of hucknall, I've had a fresh large haddock and chips with peas and curry sauce both times and both times was banging. Go to the chippy to collect, it's great to experience a bustling chippy on a Friday night, get your order in with the gent on the fryer as you queue, they will do everything they can to have it with you as soon as possible and I've tried every fish and chip shop in hucknall, this one is the best. Hands down. Complete and utter clean sweep. Good job guys, keep up the great work. 👍🏻

Ordered food for delivery at 6.15 online and it stated 80 minutes delivery time! 75 minutes into waiting I received a phone call from a very apologetic young lady to say theyr running late and will receive my order in about 20 minutes time! So we waited and waited! 35 minutes later we received our food! Was worth the wait as the food was delicious! I suppose you can say “good food to come those who wait” I do however highly recommend you go in and order rather than online for delivery 10/10 for the food! But the delivery is sucks!

Ordered at 7pm, gone 9pm and still no food, was a reasonably small order too so not sure why I didn't receive a phone call within 10 minutes of ordering saying there will be a 2 hour wait for delivery. Very bad service and management and not worth the wait for the food compared to other chippies in Hucknall.

Ordered food at 7:20, a fairly small order, gone 9 o’clock and still not arrived. Do not recommend in the slightest go to seagull fishbar or Atlantis.

By far the best chip shop in the area and one of the best we’ve had in the country! Everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. The cod is always spot on and there is no skin like many other nottingham chip shops. But the star of the show is the chicken curry special. It’s an absolute monster! Chips, rice and chicken curry all wrapped up in an XL naan. It’s the perfect dirty takeaway dinner!

Best chippy in hucknall and still is

This place is brilliant. It is rare to get a takeaway that is a genuine chip shop that can also do a good kebab. My wife and I have stopped coming here, not because it’s bad, but because my waistline can’t handle it anymore. Once I manage to loose some meterage off my midriff I will use again, responsibly. On a serious note their chips are good, burgers and kebabs too. My wife and boys rate their fish. Portion sizes are very good. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Great easy online ordering, friendly staff and delicious fish. It seems family run which I like, staff having fun together and working efficiently. I had an extended wait for my order but it did include gluten free items so I understand and would still visit again. They could label the GF items better just for reassurance - maybe put them in a separate bag, not personally worried about contamination but it reassures that the items are definitely as intended. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I orgdrted from here this evening as this chippy is prob one of my favs in huckanll I orders for delivery when ordered I didn’t not get confirmation of order and when ordering on app said would be delivered within 70 mins I am fully aware this is a day night and very busy but I had to call on two occasions as order was y late on the second call the lady who I spoke with said my order had been out with driver while so should come to me but had no idea where located so would re do my order shortly after this my order arrived which was cold but I did not want to complain further as I was happy to receive an order of some sort shortly after the second order arrived so told the delivery man I had receive original order so to take back I had tried to call the chippy to tell them I had recieved my order but line was busy after about 45 mins got a call from the chippy asking how long between drivers did I receive my orders. Explained it wasn’t long but I was made to feel like I was trying to pull a fast one and didn’t like the tone. Of the lady who I spoke with safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again very disappointing

Absolutely perfect 100% food 100% friendly 100% Going Back I would recommend the kebab meal it's like 20 quid but it feeds 6 ideal if your having kebab night with friends, I tend to change the naan bread to pitta which works better but they will change it for ya, but well worth trying!!!

This shop has been here for many years and is still very good. With consistantly good quality and good range on offer. On street parking outside is a bit limited.

Food is nice but the staff or at least 1 of them was very rude on arrival. I placed my order on line and the options given were select a time to collect or order for now, the later is the option I chose, I arrived at the shop yo be asked if I'd ordered and said yes gave my time and was abruptly told I was early. How could I be I thought I ordered for click and collect now and it took me 5 mins to get to the shop. DID I READ THE EMAIL well of course not I followed the website instructions why do I need to also read an email I was given my order by a much nicer young girl and left the shop to get in my car opposite the shop, at this point all I could hear was the girl who first served still going on about me being early and moaning. I have used your sister shop during all of locdowns and the staff have been brilliant, but this girl is so rude I will never go back, please send her on some customer service courses

great food but rude staff. banter with a customer is fine, when appropriate what is not appropriate is getting the order wrong twice an then when asking to double check my order was made right I was greeted with sarcasm which the boss shrugged off as banter which it wasn't it was rude.

Fish was nice. Chips were dry. Usually better organised, but not today. I had a 10 minute wait from the order taken to leaving the shop. It appeared no fish was being prepared until I asked for it. Not pleased that, as the staff were handling food we about to eat, nobody was wearing face protection.

Good place to get some fish and chips to take away. It would be better if the staff could wear some gloves during their work (because of touching the tablet, smartphone...), especially in those times.

I was recommended this place by a customer at work...it certainly did not disappoint. Wont need to travel to Wollaton for great fish & chips any more.
