Intimate but enough room between diners. Great selection of Gurkha dishes, a couple of Indian draught beers on offer. A selection of wines and spirits. Great food and good portions. Reasonably priced and a good experience.

We had a party of about 20 people on a work night out. Food was great and service was exceptional despite having to deal with a large number of people. Definitely coming back.

Takeaway is always superb and plenty of it. Best takeaway in Kirkcaldy never once been disappointed. Customer service is also excellent and always arrives on time.

Wonderful food and even better welcome and service. A super-friendly restaurant serving genuine Nepalese food as well as standard Indian fayre. The breads are the best I have tasted outside of the Indian sub-continent and Middle East. It seems a shame that so many people choose to order from home rather than enjoy the welcome, but each to their own.

Great food reasonably priced . Had lunch on Saturday and was very happy and pretty filled up.

Magnificent food. Beautifully spiced and balanced on any palate. The menu is extensive and covers everything you could desire. Having had takeaway on a number of occasions we went in for a meal and we're doubly blown away. The food quality and flavour are excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Verdict, top marks for eat in and delivery!

Best Indian meal I've had in fife. May look uninspiring from the outside but the quality of the food is immense. You are never disappointed going for a meal here.

If you like Indian cuisine then you will not be disappointed with a visit to the Annapurna! By far tge best indian around. Service at times can be slow but definitely worth the wait when your meal comes. The staff are always pleasant and the cost is reasonable. Never been disappointed

We looked at the reviews and they don't do the place justice this is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to the place dosnt look the best but the food was amazing with large portion. Cannot rate Annapurna highly enough. It is THE best nepalese/indian food I've ever had. The service is top notch and always with a smile. Highly recommend you try their restaurant, you won't regret it.

The food was really tasty and good, we ordered Paneer Khursani Masala, Dal Makhani,Vegetable Samosa(St), Naan, Rice and Mango lassi. I can recommend friends & family and vegetarians. Everything was perfect 😍

Got a delivery and arrived bang on time and piping hot, the chicken jalfrezi was especially delicious, the nann was perfectly done and as for the 2 sauces that come with the starter is amazing, very nice meal indeed will definitely be ordering again 😋⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always a pleasure visiting here. It's not much to look at from the outside (or inside for that matter) but what counts is the food. Always delicious, we've never had a bad meal from here and even though they removed our favourite spicy paneer starter from the menu they happily make it for us. We've taken guests here and no one has ever said anything bad, our go-to in Kirkcaldy when we want to eat out.

Fantastic starter,great curry, stay away from the chapati not the best for the price

This was my second time here. The first I had the lamb shank which was amazing. This time I had the chicken tandoori, which had a rich spicy flavour and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Can't recommend this place enough.

People from asian background wound not like foods we had like biryani, tikka etc. it tastes weird. Though the service and atmosphere is very good.

My friends and I waited over an hour for our food. The staff ( women) were rude, with a “couldn’t care less attitude “ . Displaying mockery to our group. Whilst leaving the restaurant we walked around the back of the building to where we had parked. To my disgust, there was a white van man collecting food orders , smoking inside the vehicle. Health and safety should visit the premises

Food was great, once it eventually arrived. The restaurant was very busy and it was a Saturday evening, but we waited over an hour for our food. Now, I understand that when it’s busy it causes stress for the waiting staff, but during our wait no one came to explain or apologise, no one asked if we’d like another drink. When we (politely) asked what the problem was the waitresses were clearly annoyed, discussing our table and looking over. When they brought us a second drink, I thought we were getting it tipped over our heads! Still, all’s well that ends well, I guess, but I would say some customer service training wouldn’t go amiss.

Excellent service and quality food

Ein super süßes uriges Familien geführtes Lokal. Sehr einfach eingerichtet aber das Essen ist sehr lecker und absolut zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einmal das Madras Curry und einmal das Tikka Masala dazu gab es ein Chili Nan und eine Portion nepalesischen Reis. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Auch das Preisleistung Verhältnis ist optimal.

Truly good curries and sauces. Annapurna has all the usual Indian dishes, plus some Nepalese dishes and a selection of foods from the northern regions of India. Hearty portions without being wasteful. Service was very friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable, too. My only complaint was the loud ringtone of the restaurant's phone; the restaurant received many calls for carry away. But the food and service were lovely.

Cosy place, very friendly and efficient service, great food. Everything was good and we like spicy food so weren't disappointed. We had a delivery service last July and ate in the restaurant this time. Both superb options. We will definitely return next time we are in Kirkcaldy.

Staying in the area overnight for a funeral the next day, we drove into town to have a look for an indian or asian restaurant. Glad we found this one. We do enjoy Nepalese cuisine, but this was outstanding! Quite plain inside, but comfortable. Quiet, since we were early in the evening. Easy parking across the road, friendly welcome from our helpful waiter, extensive menu too. We shared the lake fish starter, which was delicious, as were our mains. Good value too...Highly recommended!

Ordered a takeaway 16sep told would be 45/60 minutes...phoned after 20 minutes late arrived 55 minutes late and tried to charge more .NOT IMPRESSED. a hame really because our favourite takeaway food is very good, but need to improve delivery times or we won't be continuing our custom.

50/50 this one. The Chicken Makhani was just like tomato soup! No shine from what should be ghee/butter. Not even close to what a proper butter chicken should taste like. Expected much more from an award winning establishment. The Kukhura Khursani Masala was good though. Was packed with flavour and would recommend that dish. Pakoras and chutneys were decent enough. Nan bread also good although would prefer them in a brown bag so they don’t go soggy. Maybe they have other tasty mild dishes but to fail to prepare a pretty standard butter chicken concerns me. Also the price was a bit much for a takeaway for 2 at just under £40! There are other options in the general area who offer decent enough curries at almost half the price, it needed to be special to justify the extra cost and for me it didn’t live up to the expectations set. Good service but a mixed review on the food unfortunately.

One of the worst indian takeaways i have ever had the food was all cold most likely because the delivery driver didnt know where he was going! Now for the taste of the stone cold food well it was the most bland tasting indian takeaway i have ever tasted in my life on there page they big up the garlic nan well i had a plain nan and a garlic nan and you couldnt tell much of a difference a slight hint of garlic at best, half it ended up bin going out to shimala today for a nice indian to make up for it

Very welcoming! High quality, authentic Nepali food (I frequently worked in Nepal and so feel able to comment authoritatively), As we are just visiting the Fife coast we will only be able to eat here a few times but if this was closer to home I would be visiting regularly.

Some of the best food we’ve had in Scotland. We had two appetizers and two entrees and it was plenty. The food was well spiced and the lamb in particular was perfectly cooked. So delicious, we couldn’t believe how quiet it was!

Annapurna Gurkha's Restaurant - Kirkcaldy They had a wide variety of dishes and decent prices, but that was all. I had to get some momos for starter. First of all it took 30min for them to make em (they told me in advance). Second of all it was just basic minced chicken. Could not taste any herbs. It took even longer to get the starter. It was spicy which was good. Chicken was overcooked tho and dry. Service was ok. Not really great interactions. Also asked for recommendations, but didnt really get a good response.
