We have been been talking about coming here for years, so glad we got to go. A friend’s 50th Birthday, three had the six course and the other three the four course. Every course was delicious, it would be difficult to choose a favourite but the Lamb was outstanding and we are fortunate enough to have good lamb on our doorstep. Highly recommend a visit. A very warm welcome and just a shame we don’t live closer.

Abosuslely Phenomenal! We had the Sunday lunch 3 courses and everything was beautifully presented and extremely tasty, hats off to the chef. All staff where lovely and attentive also and couldn't do enough for us. Will be back!

Came to celebrate a birthday. Great decision! We opted for the four course menu and had plenty of choice. The food was outstanding, as was the warm welcome and the attentive service. This was a top experience, and we will be back……soon!

Absolutely fantastic food. Had the 5 course menu for an absolute bargain of £29.90 we have eaten here on a number of occasions and the food and service are always first class.

First time here after seeing recommendations off Facebook review pages. The host is very chatty and welcoming. The waitresses both pleasant. Wasn’t too impressed with asking for a Brooklyn lager and being given a Brewdog or something similar that tasted fruity, like I wouldn’t notice. Could ask me first. I drank it because the lager/beer menu is very very limited. The food was alright, although the toast with the chicken liver parfait just tasted of burnt. Chilled atmosphere and not too difficult to find. The Sunday roast was alright too!

Been a few times now for the midweek 4-course menu and Angels never disappoints. The owner is friendly and really engaging to talk with on arrival and leaving; the barman is also very attentive. Will return.

I went to a five course taster menu ,which was very well presented, tasty and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. I thought the wines were rather expensive.

Excellent food, simply the best in the area. Other areas could be better. Table cloths too long for tables and look tatty. Waitresses need to smile a little more and look.like they want to be there. You have to top up your own wine at the table, there should be someone to do this. If these small.problems were ironed out then the place would be fabulous

The food was amazing. We had a four course menu. The second course was tomato soup and I can honestly say it was the best soup I have ever had! The halibut curry, wow! The marmalade sticky toffee pudding. Delicious 😋. My other half enjoyed the lamb. The staff are lovely and efficient. The restaurant is nicely decorated. What a lovely treat. Here for my wife's birthday treat as its more expensive(to us)than we normally pay...however the experience was worth it. From the champagne and canapés to begin with thru to the coffee at the end...5 stars all round. Will go again.

This restaurant serves good honest well cooked well presented food. The menu wasn't inspirational but was what they served was well cooked. Perfectly cooked scallops and duck The staff were friendly. There is a choice of 4 course al a carte or six course tasting menu. We had the 6 course menu which was good value. Overall well worth the visit and we will definitely go back

This restaurant exceeded expectation. The front of house staff were very attentive, efficient & sociable. The decor is interesting, but fussy & not to my taste, however that's not what is important. The food is the star of the show. We enjoyed the set 4 course menu which was excellent value at only £39 per head. The quality of the produce & flavour extracted from every ingredient shows what a competent chef is working hard behind the scenes. The waiting staff are cheerful & swift to respond to queries. The only thing I would change/add is the choice of cocktails on offer. I am a whisky girl & would have opted for an 'old fashioned'. However The Lakes gin with the elderflower syrup & mint & lime was gorgeous & didn't disappoint!

We visited Angels for our 53rd anniversary. We had Sunday lunch, three courses. I had chicken liver parfait, the best I've ever had, rump of lamb, with fresh veg, roast potatoes & delicious gravy followed, superb, ended with chocolate brownie with peanut butter ice-cream, so naughty but so nice. Lovely staff, first class food, had to give it five stars. We'll be going again soon.

Visited Angels for Sunday lunch to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. I had chicken liver parfait, roast rump of lamb & chocolate brownie with peanut butter ice cream. They were all beautifully presented & delicious. The staff are lovely, efficient & friendly. Really couldn't fault a single thing so it deserves five stars. We will be going again soon.

The food was excellent we had the four course meal and all courses were brilliant. We had scallops, pea veloute, duck and the orange pudding all great. The welcome is always warm, the service is very good and good value for money. The piano was a little loud in the adjacent tables

This is a gem of a place which we found quite by chance around 5 or 6 years ago. It never fails to please and all at a very reasonable cost.

Went here for Mother's Day, it was beautiful. The restaurant is decorated very nice and tasteful whilst the food was lovely. Couldn't fault a thing and my mum loved it!

We had been told by many people how good this restaurant is - so we were anxious to try it. It is fantastic! A quiet little converted pub on a country road offering an excellent dining experience. The bar and restaurant are well designed and beautifully decorated. The is a warm and cosy atmosphere. The staff were outstanding; the service friendly, enthusiastic and very efficient. There are a couple of different menus to select including a 'special' 5 course taster mid week menu that offers extraordinary value. They also open for an excellent Sunday lunch. There is a very good wine list and a good cocktail list. The food was lovely - well balanced with great flavours. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. We had the special 5 course taster menu which was just excellent. The food is fine dining but without the pretention of many other similar restaurants - which was a welcome change! This restaurant appears to be fully booked every night it is open - and that is testament to just how good it is! You may have to book a week or two in advance - but it is well worth the wait. I am already looking forward to returning!

Been waiting a long time to return to this class restaurant. Post Covid I think it’s got even better food. Say venison and then lemon meringue for dessert. Class from start to end. The lady at front of house set the mood. amazing.. brilliant energy and makes the evening memorable checking on each table and genuinely wants you to have a wonderful time etc Impressed I shall be returning soon. We tried Angels fior the first time this week having had positive feedback since moving to Longridge. The 5 course menu was excellent from start to finish with innovative dishes. Just how do they get the malted ice cream to taste like velvet! Wine choice very good also. Not your steak and kidney pudding and chips place (as great as thar is) this is something different and nice for a special treat. Each course was small to medium size but after 5 courses we were nicely full.

What can I say had the 3 course Sunday menu everything was excellent can't fault this place. Already booked to come back.
