The best fish and chips in the area. Perfectly cooked and great portion size too. Freshly cooked while we waited. We have others close by but would rather drive here as it’s SO GOOD 😊

Food ,cod and chips were excellent and generous portions, service good short wait for the cod to be cooked, atmosphere was pleasant as Andy the owner chatted with us as he cooked the cod, will visit again.

Wow. I travel the south coast fur work and eat a lot of fish and chips. This is one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. All freshly cooked. Cod tasted fantastic. Scampi was excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I called in to Andy's last week for the first time why I have never been before is beyond me First impressions was how clean the shop looks 👌 The prices are fare The food I had large cod medium chips I remember Andy saying I hope your hungry the fish was huge. So to the actual test eating it all Fish was flakey not dry the batter was crispy and not greasy chips were great I will call in again soon Oh yes I did finish them ....only just though 😃

Great service and great taste!! We ordered two large cod and one large chips and four of us ate more than enough! To add, one of the cod wasn’t enough big and he added one more, and the large chips was extra large :) Very delicious fish and chips!

I was in Chichester on business and went to this place late because I'd read the good reviews. It was right near the end of the day so he didn't have any fish left but the man certainly didn't disappoint!

Amazing absolutely Amazing Googled fish and chips on maps and Andy's came up as the best rated in Chichester and oh boy one bite into that tasty bit of battered cod and you understand why, combine that with the most perfectly cooked chips and you just now you'll be coming back again and again and again...... It's not just the food though, the service was impeccable, so thank you Andy's for an incredible eating experience that was exactly what we needed after a very chilly night ride around the back roads of Hampshire and West Sussex 👍😎 Five stars is not enough...

Having read other reviews I called in at Andy’s in for fish and chips on a quiet Tuesday evening. The young lady serving me was very friendly and thoughtful, offering hand towels to use after we had finished our dinner and securely taping down the lids on the peas and curry sauce containers, the portions were ample, the chips spot on and the fish / batter was the best I have had in a long while.

With so many fish and chip places to chose from, we tend to chop and change, had been placing our order elsewhere, but they were abrupt and unhelpful, so on this visit this was our 2nd choice. We won't make that mistake again, Andy is always friendly and welcoming, food cooked to order, lovely fish and great chips.

The best fish and chip shop around! I enjoy the battered Halloumi pita that Andy makes, a great vegetarian option that most other chip shops don't offer. Really good value and portion sizes, always very friendly. Would highly recommend :)

Very surprised this takeaway has as many stars as it has as we go off of reviews for all of our takeaways. Very dissatisfied with the large cod - was extremely thin with soggy batter. Chips were not chip shop chips. They were all stuck together and to the paper, soggy and tasteless. We were unable to pick a single chip out without it falling apart. Would not recommend unfortunately wasn't an enjoyable meal. Looking at reviews looks like We've chosen a bad night as seems to be the complete opposite from all others.. unfortunately we won't be trying again.

A very friendly owner, had a good chat whilst waiting for the cod. Cod and chips, wow, it was gorgeous. The chips crunchy and soft, substantial portion size. Th cod was thick fleshed, cooked to perfection, the batter was a little bit eggy, but crispy and tasty. Overall, if I'm ever passing by again, I will stop there for food.

The food from Andy's is always freshly cooked, hot and delicious - no soggy, bland white chips served here... - AND Andy will skin the fish for you if you ask him - result for me. Pre-ordering makes life really easy. Can't beat it!

This is by far the best fish and chips I have had. There are several fish and chips outlets much closer to where I live but it’s worth driving the 8 miles to get the best. I can highly recommend Andy’s fish. The service is excellent and the food just as good.

Absolutely brilliant. Huge portions, all cooked fresh by a lovely proprietor.

I went there last Saturday. Although it was busy the wait was very short. I like cod and it was excellentand the chips were crisp. He puts the fish in a box to kerp them warm. Wonderful!

Quality fish and chips. One of the best plaices in the area, a reel catch. Sole food and too much of this I’ll get really Chubby. The grilled haloumi will really knock competitors of their Perch. I was floundering trying to find a decent fish bar - all’s good now...I’m hooked. You won’t need any time to Mullet over Andy’s Fish Bar is Fintastic - if there’s a better one out there let Minnow :)

OMG I haven't tasted fish and chips that good for ages! We had cod, plaice and Andy's burger...all utterly superb. Lovely man, excellent service, everything cooked fresh, generous portions. Very highly recommended.

I find the fish and chips are quite oily whether freshly made or a batch that has been cooked a while. BUT very good portions. A small chips is huge. The last time I went Andy himself was a bit unkempt - at lunchtime. Looked like he had just got back from a drunk night out and he was not in the most friendly of moods.

Had to nip in here in a pinch when I went the wrong way. Was surprised at the great pricing and selection they have in here. I was originally going to just get a regular chips. There was a minimum card spend of £5 which was a slight annoyance, but all I did was order more food. It was served in minutes and off I went with a full meal for a fiver!

Fish cooked fresh, crispy batter, generous helpings (bit too big actually), very tasty, friendly owner. If you need more from a fish and chip shop I can't think what it might be.

This evening I had the donner meat and chips combo, the donner meat was not greasy like it is in some kebab shops it was full of flavour and very tasty and there was plenty of it chips you're amazing as always

Was our saviour when I had my baby in Dec!! Its our Friday night treat. Always tell others about it too!! Won't be disappointed.
