Got a takeaway tonight, spring roll was awful, over fried and full of grease, chicken curry fried rice awful, never ever again will I visit here. Half at least went in the bin

Always make meals from scratch, always tasty, have used this take away for years, a favourite UPDATE..... NO IDEA WHAT CHANGED, BUT I NOW RATE AS A 2 STAR. Last night's meal was really disappointing, thin watery sauces, lack of flavour. This means my favourite little takeaway will no longer be that..... 😭😭 V sad. V disappointed.

Worst Chinese I’ve tried. Chicken balls were not balls but indeed balls of batter and little chicken. So bland with no flavour in curry and chow mien wasn’t that great either. They also do nothing Salt and pepper which in 2023 is pretty poor. Spare your time and go to Banff or buy a wok Youl do a better job yourself 👍

Best Chinese in Banff & Macduff. As a seasoned veteran in the takeaway game you can take my word for it when I say, hand on heart, you won't find better curry sauce on the planet. Absolutely phenomenal on top of chips and egg fried rice. Everything has tasted the exact same since I was a child. So good that my mother weaned me off baby formula straight on to Tangs' OG curry sauce!

Best prawn satay ever tasted wouldn't go anywhere else used this Chinese for over 30 years and hopefully for the next 30

Slightly disappointed by this could be gem located in the beautiful MacDuff. Now, I'm no expect in kung po, but this lemon sauce was thinner than my dad receding hairline. See photo attached, I am a big hungry man and could not even finish. The lemon chicken didn't not have much chicken but loads of batter. Dissipointing but it was at decent price.

30 years since I was last here, food and service hasn't changed, we won't leave it so long for our next visit!!

I had a real craving for Chinese food so I called in here to get my tea. I ordered Kung Po Chicken and fried rice, which came out very quickly. The fried rice was very good, not in the least greasy. The Kung Po Chicken was just battered shredded chicken in a sauce. No veggies. However, it was a very tasty sauce with a good level of chilli heat. This was by no means the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't the best. But it was very reasonably priced so I think that a rating of 'adequate' is, well, adequate!

Got our Chinese on the way home from a nice afternoon at the beach! Couldn’t wait so I opened up the onion rings on our 15 minute journey home, they were really nice! Well that was the only nice bit about the meal and our nice afternoon was ruined when we got to our house and opened up the bags of Chinese! Everything was very greasy so much so we had to soak up the grease with kitchen roll! The kids were really disappointed as they had sweet and sour chicken balls but they hadn’t included the sweet and sour sauce and we weren’t travelling 15 minutes to get it then another 15 minutes home again! Then I opened up my chicken chow mein hoping for some nice noodles in a gravy sauce with chicken and veg, well another disappointment I emptied out a big tray of greasy noodles and beansprouts topped with some brown tough shredded chicken! No veggies to be seen! Not really what I wanted! My husbands spicy chilli chicken was nothing special more like chicken and gravy! he asked for it extra spicy and you wouldn’t even know there was any chilli in it and again no veggies to be seen! My husband said the mammoth spring roll tasted ok but needed a pile of kitchen roll first to soak up all the grease from it! I didn’t partake in that after seeing the dripping grease! Oh and the prawn crackers were thin and again very greasy hence the brown bag inside the plastic bag to soak up the grease! Well it’s correct to say we certainly won’t be going back to tangs in a hurry! We will stick to our local Chinese from now on!

The best Chinese takeaway in the area.

I have used tangs for many years, and really enjoy the food. It's unlike any other Chinese and that's what I like about it. His chicken chow mein is a favourite.

So greasy! Chicken balls rock hard, chicken questionable! Chicken balls, spring rolls were put into 2 brown bags and yet still the oil was dripping through. Worst Chinese I've eaten.

You will struggle to find a worse Chinese than this, the chicken balls is more like grease balls with rock hard batter and no chicken in it

The worse Chinese i have ever had Spent a fortune on the food only to be thrown in the bin.My daughter in law was violently sick from last night till this morning.

Best chow mein ever, makes a mean chicken curry too. Never go anywhere else for chinese food. Reasonable prices and freshly cooked.

By far the worst Chinese takeaway in the area. Black chicken, stodgy rice, runny sauce, greasy food. Honking. Reasonably priced but not very tasty.

By far the best Chinese in Macduff. The service is good and the food flawless. Chicken curry is a favourite in my house. Worth a try
