Excellent cafe as well as house furnishers. Visited cafe once again for lunch . Excellent soup and sandwiches. Cakes hard to resist.

Waited 45 minutes for a bowl of soup. 110 staff wondering around aimlessly without any clear direction. Definitely won’t waste another hour of my life

Really nice food with lots of options! Their puddings are good quality! Can be 15-20 mins wait or more if busy. Staff are really nice!!

Very friendly, helpful lady took our order without us having to wait. We had hot chocolate, a tea and rock buns. These were served quickly and efficiently by another member of staff. The environment was spacious with plenty space between tables and everything was very fresh and clean. Having enjoyed our snack another friendly member of staff said farewell.

Ordered two soups for starters followed by two quiche of the day. Rather dismayed when the “hot” quiche arrived before the soup. Stated to the lad serving that we were having soup, his reply, yes it’s just coming!!! Needless to say the quiche was not hot when we finished our soup. For two soup, two quiche and one Diet Coke the £30.00 bill was pretty steep. Fabulous woman on the triage though.

Thoroughly enjoyed our coffees and scone. What was outstanding, however, was the attitude of the staff- welcoming, friendly and attentive. Good service in a cafe or restaurant is what makes the experience.

My daughter and I went for lunch on Tuesday 27th April. We stood in a queue which is fair enough eventually all details were taken we sat down. It was absolutely freezing then we sat for half an hour waiting for our order to be taken, however employees I think were queuing for there lunch and were given before our order were taken. We were due for an appointment and was very annoyed we had to leave before order was taken. Won’t return . Not paying good money for freezing conditions and sitting around for too long. Pity as place is very nice but if Ross’s can have you seated and eating within 15 mins so could Anderson’s. Not acceptable.

Our first visit since it opened after lockdown and we were very happy with everything. The staff were all exceptional and their system works really well. Our coffee and home bakes were first class. All in all, a most enjoyable visit. Thank you!

We went to Anderson’s cafe as part of the eat out to help out for lunch. The staff were great and so attentive wearing all the correct PPE, the cafe is glamoursly decorated and absolutely spotless. As a party of 2 we opted for the soup and sandwich option which was homemade and tasty, great coffee too. The cake selection looked fantastic, will stop for one next time!

Nice cafe but you have to go through the store to get there. Food was good but a ham sandwich was just a ham sandwich, no garnish or extras. Soup was good though and liked the service from the staff.

Catch up morning coffee with old friend - nice setting, welcoming staff and good selection of eats. Nice cup of coffee and reasonable price. Nice place to meet up for coffee you can have a conversation and here what is being said. Will definitely be back.

Friendly welcoming staff, good choice of main dishes and snacks, order and pay at the counter and your food is served to your table. A children;s play area may cause some disturbance. Large on site free parking.

Absolutely smashing. As to be expected there was a long queue after the coffee shop had been newly refurbished. It however didn’t take us too long to be allocated a table by a lovely member of staff. The ladies behind the counter were very understanding of my allergies and needs and insured that both me and my family got a meal that was suitable for us. My two sons both had a cheese toastie whereas I had a tattie and beans (due to me being gluten free) and my husband had a coronation chicken panini. I can only imagine the amount of orders that had to be made by the chefs and for the order to be done so quickly and very tasty is outstanding. And the young boy delivering the food was so helpful as well, and also insured we had everything we needed before heading back to the kitchen. The coffee shop itself is very nice and looks quite fancy as well. There is a wee kids corner where my two boys played and they seemed to really enjoy it as we only saw them when their food came . The view you get is really nice as well. 10/10 would recommend to others and will definitely be returning shortly. My sons also said that they really enjoyed the strawberry tarts that they got so I would recommend them if you are not gluten free.

Visited for coffee with friends this afternoon, we were keen to try the new refurbished restaurant.

Went to the newly refurbished cafe in Anderson’s on Saturday at approx 1:30pm. We joined the very long que, meanwhile some people were just sitting down at vacant tables. The rest of my party had a look around for a table, then out of nowhere like a swooping eagle this women, with no identication on her as to let us know who she was, started telling us you have to wait for your food before getting a table. This is perfectly fine with us until she spotted we were clearly together and was very rude to me while standing in the que minding my own business. I reiterated that I had said nothing at all. The food was lovely but some staff training on how to be kind to customers wouldn’t go a miss. She was downright rude!

On Saturday at midday it was very busy as expected . However we only had to queue for a short time as the staff were very efficient and reserved a table for us while we were waiting. Food was excellent with generous portions and we will certainly return. The restaurant has been refurbished to a very high standard.

The recently renovated restaurant has been open for a couple weeks now. It was still very busy. We queued for around 15mins to order our lunch. There must have been about 5/6 orders in front of us. The counter set up isn’t quite right it’s a bit slow. Once we got served, seated & our meal came it was slightly easier to relax & enjoy. We shared a toast sandwich which came with salad & crisps having already observed that one split between 2 would be ample for our lunch. There was no issue asking for it to be split which is always a delight. Our meal was excellent & our coffees tasty. We both enjoyed our lunch. However we did notice that the buzz of conversation seemed to echo which made it quite a noisy lunch break. The renovated restaurant is lovely the staff are helpful & pleasant & the food was lovely, fresh & tasty & served quick (after the long queue for it). A lovely cafe to visit while shopping 7/10

I’m very mixed on what to give this review as a rating. I brought my 95 year old mother here for lunch as she asked to come. We arrived at 12pm just as it was getting busier. Luckily the lady organising tables was extremely helpful in finding a table for 2 so my mother could sit down. I joined the queue to order which was probably a dozen people long. It took close to 40minutes for me to get my order completed and then another 15 for it to arrive - something needs to change with their ordering process.On the positive side, the restaurant is lovely, the staff were friendly enough and the food was good. My only suggestion is that could provide some water jugs for people to help themselves to a glass of water.I will be reluctant to return until I know they have speeded up the service size of things.

First visit since the refurb and the restaurant is a complete disaster. A lot bigger but they have failed to invest in extra staff. Tables piled high in dirty dishes, disgusting. If I worked there, I would walk out. Won’t be back.

This was our first visit since the cafe was refurbished.It’s a large, spacious and clean cafe very impressed with the refurbishment.We had breakfast here, to be honest there is not a great choice for breakfast, bacon, egg rolls or toast. We both had a bacon & egg roll with tea and it was so good - served nice & hot.Service was excellent and there was a good choice of home bakes, sandwiches etc.

Since the makeover the café has obviously been busy with curious people, it appears they were underprepared for the long queues as service was very slow. Overall the area is nice and the items are good, however very overpriced. A baked potato for £8.20 is shambles. Alright for a one off look at the new place, but would not return afterwards.

First visit since the refurb & it’s great, looks better & the cafe now being at the end is a much better idea. Unfortunately they are lacking in a few areas - they have created a kids play corner which is great but don’t do a kids menu so it’s a small cup of soup which isn’t in a child friendly bowl & when asked for a sandwich it’s just put on a plate with crisps that are only suitable for an adult or unless your child is of age (my son is 28 months). Also lacking on high chairs which staff apologised for.

This gem of a cafe on the top floor of Andersons Furniture Store, offers a friendly welcome, a good selection of food freshly prepared. tempting range of cakes and scones. on site free parking, lift to cafe is available.

Situated on the top floor of Andersons the cafe is well lit and welcoming ,Staff are friendly and helpful . They do a nice line of filled rolls and Panninis . A great wee coffee shop well used by locals but not one that will draw tourists in who will not realise the cafe is in the the larget furniture shop in the area . Plenty of seating with the tables not to close .

I have been coming to Anderson's nearly every Friday for years. Soup, sandwiches, baking is always excellent but the service from all the lovely staff is second to none. We love going and we always get greeted with smiles 😁👍🏻x

Passed here and decided we needed a coffee. So glad we did. Really fresh, tasty scones, lemon was lovely and a nice change. Good coffee too. Service at the till was spot on and tables were cleared quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Visited after not being in for a few months. Still good service despite being busy . Sandwiches and cakes excellent. Will be back again.

Andersons is a very large furniture/carpet store just off the main road between Inverurie and Inverness. The café is on the first floor near the carpets , is very comfortable and light and has a fine selection of eats. We enjoyed coffee and sandwiches for lunch - service was fine.

Visited for a quick lunch and catchup. Coffee shop had more staff than customers, most of them standing about with their arms folded chatting to one another. Ordered soup and a panini. Food was ok, nothing much to complain about, if I'm picky the cheese couldve been a bit more melted in the panini but otherwise ok. Went back up for 2 cakes - 3 of the staff just stood there ignoring me then another came through from kitchen area and served me - £5 for a chocolate crispy and lemon crunch slice was a bit expensive for what they were. Was disappointed, lots of friends recommend the place but I wouldn't put it near the top of my list for local eateries, there are much better, friendlier places to go. Reducing the amount of staff would maybe allow them to charge more reasonable prices.

Went to Anderson’s for some furniture shopping and had some lunch at the restaurant. The food was very nice and the restaurant was spotless clean. Staff were very friendly and a good selection of food for a furniture store cafe.

This was our first visit and we were very pleased with the menu. The soup and sandwich was very tasty and the cakes were excellent. Very good service from the friendly staff.

My Wife and I were advised to try Andersons for Lunch. Everything about our experience was first class. The Menu had. in my opinion, something to suit any taste. Great food. Great service. Acceptable price. Will definitely pay another visit.

Been to this lovely cafe several times with my other half and never disappointed - food is always fresh and tasty, and there is always such a lovely selection of cakes and scones for afters! The cafe is always spotless and the staff are super helpful. Always pleasantly busy with families, older people and everyone in between. Really love the focus on local and seasonal produce - even in winter! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!!

As a regular visitor to this cafe, I have always been very impressed with the staff, service and food. Helpful ladies assist with finding tables ahead of ordering food at the counter to ensure customers aren't searching around with laden trays. Their system really works!

This is by far the best coffee/in-house restaurant in and around Aberdeenshire. Exceptionally clean and tidy, good food, nicely decorated, attentive and organised staff. They seem to pay attention to even the small details, which is rare indeed these days. Well done and keep up the good work.

Stopped in for a lunchtime snack. Waited in queue for 5 minutes only to be told by the girl taking orders "sorry, but I can't take your order yet". There were two couples in front of us with 7 empty tables available. We asked why she couldn't take our order yet and the Supervisor exclaimed to the girl about to serve us "I said, no further orders till I t elk you". I have to say, it's a shambles. We walked out in disgust and certainly won't return again. Can't say I would shop there in their store again either.

Haven't been here in years, but the food is lovely. Nice atmosphere and food is reasonably priced for it's quality.

A la hora de comer nos poped mientras toma un vistazo a la tienda. No hay una variedad muy grande en el menú del almuerzo pero la tortas y café son agradables. No volvería para almorzar, pero podría dejar para una tarta y café la próxima vez que esté en la tienda.

Nos tomamos un café y un elegante pieza con un amigo aquí esta tarde, justo después de comer, y pensé que podría estar esperando a la hora de la cena!

No tan bueno como solía ser. Me gustó el hecho de que un miembro del personal le muestra a una tabla. Un menú extenso pero contador bastante pequeña, me sentí muy de prisa. Teníamos sopa de pan pero no debido a la forma en que se definen, tuve que volver. Sándwiches estaban bien, pero nada especial. Tocino ahumado que no estaba indicada. Un lugar concurrido, pero no estoy seguro de que tendría prisa por regresar.

Had coffee and scones here today, both very good as usual. The staff are particularly pleasant. We were able to sit in the comfy armchairs. Recommended for coffees and light lunches.

Went to andersons and had shortbread which Is okay the lattes are also quite good but a while ago they used to have the best rock cake as they were hot

Este es un gran lugar para tomar un café y un pastel y ponerse al día con los amigos. Particularmente nos gusta el tocino y rollo de huevo en panecillos de grano multi. El menú del almuerzo de bocadillos, paninis, patatas asadas y sopas es abundante y delicioso. Todo cocinado y servido con una sonrisa.

A veces tienen un viaje de ida y vuelta varias horas a servirse de la familia desde el aeropuerto de Aberdeen durante las vacaciones y se han inclinado a encontrar un buen lugar para bocadillos o comidas en ruta. Este lugar es ideal. Había visto las señales de la carretera principal y me sorprendió encontrar una tienda de muebles fue el café de arriba, pero era espaciosa y justo lo que queríamos. Sólo había café y pastel, pero también ofrece almuerzos.

Vine aquí para el almuerzo y decidimos tener sopa y sándwiches, que estaba bien. La comida era buena y la sopa sabía bien, bien si estás dejando para un bocado rápido. Nada hizo que destaque para mí y si buscas un bocado rápido, entonces aquí es tan buena como cualquiera, pero nada llamativo. Los baños estaban limpios y ordenados, y mi odio era más celoso que personal nuestra bandeja y platos tan pronto como nos hizo. No me gusta que

He estado aquí muchas veces y en la mayoría de las ocasiones ha encantado. Los bollos recién hechos por la mañana y delicioso. Buena selección de pasteles & traybakes y a un precio decente para lo que te dan. Aunque me parece bastante caro para Anderson's es sus mercancías, muebles, recorrer después o antes de su café es una opción. El café también tiene una pequeña zona para los más pequeños para jugar.

After 2 and a half hours driving saw a sign for Anderson Coffee House so in need of my caffeine fix decided to give it a try. Was excited to see that they did Gluten Free when I saw their soup on menu....but alas nope it was just the soup, no bread so no sandwiches either...what's the point in having Gluten Free soup if no roll or bread to go with it. I got offered oatcakes...Big let down for such a lovely coffee shop. Mum did enjoy her coffee and scone x

Llamé para una taza de té al anochecer se caía, y era muy tranquila, con sólo dos o tres mesas ocupadas. El servicio era rápido. Se sentía muy agradable, con mesas espaciadas cómodamente aparte y una vista de algunas ventanas. Había la gama habitual de bollos, pasteles y traybakes, y he tenido una tarta de fresa, que era exactamente como yo esperaba. Miré en su menú para ver lo que estaba disponible en cuanto a la comida, y que parecía ser sólo sopa, sándwiches y hamburguesas. No llegué a ver una selección de platos principales, así que no estaba muy entusiasmado. Seguramente me siga yendo al otro lado de la carretera a Ross es una cafetería en su lugar.

Llamé para un almuerzo quickish mientras en la ruta en la A96. Sólo tenía intención de sopa pero cambiaron mi mente tener sopa y sándwich ofrecer - a más de £6. La sopa de champiñón era bueno y, cuando mi sándwich de carne asada llegamos estaba sorprendida y no en una buena manera. Stopped here for brunch.asked for two bacon rolls and could I have the bacon crispy.assistant asked if I would like a brown or white roll.which was great to be offered a choice.the best bacon roll I've had in a long time and my other half agreed.

Have stopped many times, for lunch we often have the soup and sandwich, always excellent. Or it might be afternoon tea. The restuarant is very clean and comfertable. We also enjoy shopping, in the store.
