First time here, fantastic food and service! Portions are generous and definitely worth the prices. Atmosphere is very friendly, the owner is also great to chat to and offered to share a Raki with us as we left which was a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Excellent. I wish they were also in Bournemouth. Bournemouth is lacking restaurants like Anatolian Turkish Restaurant.

We really enjoyed our first time visiting Anatolian. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was superb, very tender and flavourful on all dishes we had. Turkish coffee was tasty too! We would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Came here after reading positive reviews on Google maps and trip advisor. Must say I'm not disappointed at all. This place lives up to your amazing dinner expectations. I was served free starter bread with yoghurt sauce, olives and another condiment. The portion size of stater and main course was huge, I could not finish all. Taste-wise it was amazing, I have not had a starter bread like this one in, there was a fragrant spice sprinkled over it. The dinner was served in no time which was pleasantly surprising. If you're coming to this place for a dinner, you might find it in the middle of nowhere, far from busy areas. This place might not be for you if you're looking for a lovely place but the good thing is - you get free parking

Lovely food, although rather large portions, very pleasant staff. The only problem was unruly children who spoilt the evening by running in and out all the time and their parents totally ignored them. Must try the place again when no children are there.

Booked a table here in August for the first time to celebrate husbands birthday. Service from the all male staff was good and very friendly. Our meal was fab especially the spectacular Cold Meze Platter! As a result we were unable to finish our main course but we were provided with boxes to take home the remainders. Having mentioned our visit to a couple of family members, we were happy to book again and take them along. Our evening was just as good, meal and service great and we all rolled out very happy customers!

Beautiful tender chicken and lamb kebabs with salad and cous cous. Adore the baklava. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A pretty and homely place and the food cooking smalls divine. Highly recommend especially as it is only a ten minute walk from home so we could have a few drinks.

We have visited 3 times so far. Every time felt super full and satisfied. Good place to dine in , quiet and lovely environment, spacious for children to play . The dishes are super delicious and carry large portions. Nan are free for starter. Turkish tea is a must for this restaurant. We’re going again.

Fabulous food. We had the family platter to avoid having to make difficult decisions at the end of a busy week and everything was excellent - very tasty. Plenty of food for four (including two teenage boys). Service was prompt and attentive. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Finding ourselves childless on a quiet Thursday lunchtime we ventured into Anatolian having never been before. The venue was quiet but we were greeted warmly and given our pick of tables. We chose a bright but cosy window seat, close to the bar. The menu was broad and exotic, featuring many, many Turkish dishes; some of which we had never heard of. We both ordered from the lunchtime special menu which offered 2 courses for a very reasonable £12.90. The choice of dishes was sufficiently good, offering either a hot or cold starter and a main from a choice of around 20 or so dishes. Our order was taken after 5 minutes or so to peruse the menu. I plumped for saksuka followed by chicken shish; my wife chose sigara boregi and vegetable moussaka. Shortly after ordering a generous helping of warm pide bread, tzatziki, olives and a tapernade style dip arrived for gratis. The bread was wonderful, the dip was rich and lush and the tzatziki was fresh and cooling. Starters arrived in good time. The saksuka was fresh but unctuous with aubergine and potato. The boregi were warm, crispy, fresh and generously filled. Our mains arrived within a few minutes of polishing off the starters. The chicken shish was spiced and chargrilled to perfection and the moussaka was divine. Both came with freshly dressed salad and seasoned cous cous. The portion sizes were very good, my wife struggled to finish hers (my plate was practically licked clean). All in the bill came to £31 (with a soft drink each). We both throughly enjoyed our dishes and will definately be back. If you've read this far, i would recommend trying the salgam for an authentic drink choice.

Superb food and service. We were served delicious flatbreads with olives and dips as an appetizer. We ordered the set meal for two. This included a mixed hot mezze to start followed by huge variety of lamb and chicken dishes. These were served with a lovely salad and couscous / bulgur wheat. The service was first class. The appetizers and drinks arrived quickly whilst you see the main course being freshly cooked on the open grill. The meal was generous and we only managed to eat half of it. They provided containers so we could take the remainder home! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

This wonderful restaurant was recommended to us....and what a great suggestion that was. The food is FANTASTIC. The service is really friendly. We spent £40 a head on the most excellent starter, large but flavoursome mains and drinks. Very happy to pay this forward and pass the recommendation on. We don't think you'll regret it.

I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in the area, and this one is by far the best. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Top service.

Absolutely dreadful service, poorly trained front of house staff. We only managed to get one drink in the whole time we where there. We had to order the bread three times, which then arrived in a chipped and broken wooden serving bowl. If you want a napkin get them off the nearest table, as they won’t come to ask if you need anything. They don’t come and check if everything is ok with the food, no sauces come with the main course, enjoy the dry main course. Want a dessert good luck with that.. not even a menu or offering by them. Oh and the plate you eat your starters on, is the only plate you will get for the entire meal. Might as well give us a bucket. Toilets need a deep clean, the floor looks like it was cleaned about 10 years ago. Really makes you wonder what the kitchen conditions are like. At the end of the meal, I spoke to the owner-manager about the utter poor service and he replied “Yes I know”.. this place needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey.. If you want the bill, then just stand up and put your coat on, and you just might get someone’s attention. This place is extremely overpriced in every aspect for what they are serving. We certainly won’t be returning to this place, as you get better service from a Kebab Van.

I booked online and received confirmations from "Quandoo" but when I arrived at the restaurant they didn't have my reservation. We chose from the two/three course lunch Special Menu. Absolutely superb meal; starters were brilliant, we had kebabs and casserole as our mains and were cooked to perfection. Ice creams (particularly the chocolate) and Crème Catalan yummmmy. Fantastic value. I highly recommend!!

This place is truly a hidden gem. I really enjoyed their hummus, Turkish tea and flatbread. Followed by a main course of chicken beyti, the side serving of salad and flavourful buckwheat. Finished off with yummy chunk of Turkish delight. True gastronomic delights. A very happy customer indeed 😄👍

We came to the restaurant relying on the feedback given but they are absolutely unconvincing.We ordered lamb chops, it didn't taste good at all. There were pieces of bread on the seats also the prices are above the average, I definitely do not recommend it.

The ambiance in this restaurant is top class and rate is 10 out of food. Cleanliness perfect. Food outstanding. Spur of the moment meal. Greeted top class. Couldn't say anymore but perfect.

First visit. Decided to go as its the nearest restaurant we had not been to. Overall pleasantly surprised. Quick service despite being busy although you could tell others had struggled. Loads of food which was all tasty. We had a mixed main which was very good the only negative would be that it all tasted a bit too similar. Otherwise quite impressed so will be back.
