Anatolia Barbecue Restaurant & Takeaway in Spelthorne

The menu at Anatolia is awesome. The variety of food on offer is incredible. All cooked fresh. Polite & efficient staff. The shish kebabs are truly delicious. It's the best I have tasted.

I can not explain how good this kebab shop is , people who work there are so so nice , portions are big, Foods I cannot explain how good it is, clean shop & fast services. Don’t go anywhere else go here !!!

I went to Anatolia tonight for takeaway for dinner, once we ordered we was told a 20 minute wait which we didn’t mind as you could see they was busy. We ended up waiting 40 minutes outside for our food. Got home, was all eating, food tasted nice no complaints about that. I ordered the chicken donner wrap as they had sold out of lamb donner which I normally order but was happy to try the chicken donner. I was about half way through my wrap when I felt a hard crunch, I spat it out to notice it was a large bit of bone.. I would understand a small bit of bone in a chicken Shish but it was from the chicken donner. Was really disappointed as it put me off the rest of my meal. The bone I found was about 3cm long so it wasn’t even a small bit that they could’ve missed. Definitely won’t be eating here again.

Tried their chicken shish for the first time and it was probably the best kebab I’ve ever had. Beautifully cooked and tasty. Will order again!

Ordered two kebab wraps and some sundries through Uber eats. When delivered one of the kebab wraps was missing so I telephoned Anatolia and explained the situation to someone there. I was then put through to someone who I was introduced to as"Ali" who proceeded to call me a thief, a liar and a joker and said that everything had been delivered. As it was clear that Anatolia had no interest in resolving the matter I said I would take it up through Uber Eats, to which "Ali" replied that even if I got a refund through them he did not lose any money so did not care. Uber Eats did refund me for the missing item after I completed their online form. The level of customer service from Anatolia was disgraceful. More worringly from "Ali's" comments it would appear that the restaurant may have a vested interest in shipping incomplete orders if they still get paid for what was ordered regardless of what is delivered.

Dont normally order from here mid-week but usually all good. However, tonight the small doner kebab turned up without any salad despite being asked. The chicken shish kebab looked as though it had been thrown together and there was very little chicken and mostly onion as the salad. we asked for two lots of chips and only received one. They were very busy as probably due to Ashford Christmas event.

Good a take away from here . 2 mixed grill at £10.50 each.When I asked why they charged me £22.20 I was told we charge for sauces. I never understand that about some takeaway places , the sauce is part of the meal and cost them next to nothing to make it and yet they charge 25p per very pot of sauce. Oh well back to Golden grill where nothing is too much trouble or extra charges for sauces.

I've not eaten here in a while, but the food has always been very good and much more than your average kebab shop. Im veggie and loved the extras like the home made salad, humous, garlic sauce, falafel.

We landed late (10 pm) at LHR. Paid the ridiculous rate to get us the few miles from LHR to our Airbnb stay. Unfortunately, we didn't have our own car, so had to rely on walking or taxis to get dinner. We were SAVED by Anatolia!!! Not only did they deliver, but they also were very patient and flexible in what "rental" means.

They gave us the wrong food BUT charged us for our more expensive order. Got home and phoned and discovered that the customer is not very important. We were blamed.Poor customer service. Won't be going back. The order we did have was a very second best with little meat.

We have been there a few times. The food is really good .and the staff are friendly .But when it is busy you have to wait.

I do not touch lamb doner kebabs in this country, but the chicken doner, chicken shish and lamb shish served here are great - very tasty, succulent and generously portioned. Heaps of salad, very little fat and fresh pita breads make for a tasty and filling meal. This is how kebabs should be done.

The food was perfect, the service was great from freindly staff. Portions amazing and all for a great price. Highly recommended this place for wonderful BBQ grilled food. Enjoy.

Can honestly say I’ love this place friendly staff their food is all prepared as you wait and always faultless with a very varied menu something for everyone

Delivered within 30 minutes and was delicious. I will be swapping Anatolia from the other kebab supplier that I have been with for the last few years. Excellent service and excellent kebabs.

We went to Anatolia s tonight for an evening meal. We had heard great things about it from friends. It’s not a fancy place and seems to be more of a take away place however the seating area is perfectly good. Friendly and the food was great. Would definitely go back. Good value for money

Always go here for lunch or dinner nice meat and some good side dishes. Often get delivery from them and always good. Try the cheese bites! And the courtsey pitta and dip starter is always nice

Me and my family absolutely love this place the staff are always chirpy and the food is always good never a duff meal , we have never eaten In but there is a nice space for people to sit and dine in too . Great place

After specifically pointing out to the woman what I wanted so I didn't end up with the wrong thing (as I often get the names mixed up) I was bitterly disappointed and pissed off to get home (I live almost 20 minutes away) to find I had been given the wrong sort of kebab.

when ordering a delivery over the phone the lady on the other end was great, didn't have to repeat myself twice and very polite so thank you lady who takes orders over the phone,

I drive past various kebab shops from Staines to get a take away, it’s not the cheapest but the food is good quality.

We've used Anatolia a few times now and each time we use them we are more and more impressed with the staff, quality and taste in food. Looking forward to my next visit to Anatolia in the new year.

We have used Anatolia for a couple of years but never actually left a review. As with all takeaway food outlets sometimes yes they do get it wrong. But in two years using them on average once a month they have only got it wrong twice.

We often order a delivery from here when we fancy some grilled meats or at times for a quick lunch. We really enjoy their food, especially seeing as they are a kebab shop. This isn't Cappadocia so I'm not sure what people's expectations are but we really like it; especially given the price.

Used to be good put their prices up by 20 % and the quality of the meat went down. Never go there again.

We ordered delivery for luch to my work place and staff on phone was so rude as as we gave our order and when ask delivery time as my work is 4min drive from there he say it get thejn when it get there and wouldn't say..price was way too much for delivery and we ate there few times in past and it is good food but when staff are like this I dnt want to go agiun...I decided cancel it

The food in here is very good! I always go in here and pop in and get some food to take out, sometimes I even sit down and eat inside. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been eating here for years and every new person we recommend this to love it! The food is amazing, best kebab place around, the quarter pounder with cheese is amazing and so is the chicken shish wrap!

Este lugar es realmente buena. Y me siento en un buen shish kebabs (el donar parece estándar). Cocinan shish sobre carbón caliente y servir con arroz, ensalada y pan fresco turco con chapuzón yogur. Es mucho mejor de lo que te esperas un kebab shop - más como un restaurante turco de calidad en Hackney , es tierno y: carne de buena calidad. Lo recomiendo totalmente este lugar, puedes conseguir un fantástico almuerzo para 10 libras.

My family and I love this place. It's clean, friendly, great value and great food. A nice place for a family meal or for a meal out with friends. Portions are large enough, we get a house special and quite comfortably feed six of us (2 adults 4 kids).

Regularly get kebabs from here and some of the tastiest I've ever had. The chicken in particular is delicious. Consistently good grub for all the family

we have been using Anatolia for many years and always have large orders from our workplace,we started off with around 15-20 kebabs over 3 years ago to now only 3.I had a large chicken shish this evening and the chicken was dry and tough,i had no jalapeno peppers and very little salad.thats it time to move on and fine another place.

Tasteless kebab. Sad really as the place is always full up. I assume people like the low grade cuts of meat and extra salt... No thank you. There is better out there but not nearby..

The Mrs and I visited this place on the recommendation of a friend and he suggested we order the chef special. This came on a platter with a really good variety of the meats you can order. However, we were disappointed with how much salt was used and how it had ruined the flavours of the meat. Couldn't finish the meal. If they can lay off the salt, the meal could have been really satisfying.

This place is top notch.They're always busy, they're always professional, sometimes the guys can look a lil stressed but it is only because they want to serve you the best they can because time after time they do.The parking outside can be a nightmare but definitely for a Kebab, look no further.

I went with my dad to Anatolia and the staff was very nice and the food was freshly made in front of us. While we were waiting they gave us bread and a dip that was lovely I highly recommend this place if you want a nice healthy dinner with your family

Very nice (pricier than normal), only tried the lamb so far, but I think I will be a regular customer!

The Mrs and I popped in for a take away. She had a Chicken Lamb Doner and I had the Mixed Doner. There where about 6 people sat in the seated area and we where 3rd in line. Once we where served it took 45 mins for it to be cooked and wrapped up ready for take away. Seems far too long for a couple of Kebabs. When we go the meal home which is only 5 mins away it was warm at best. I really enjoyed mine and the meats where cooked well. My Mrs didn't enjoy hers as much, as the doner meat was hard and chewy. Wont be going back.

This is a great takeaway the kebabs are amazing if you are getting a takeaway be prepared to wait a long time cos it gets so busy but it is well worth the wait

Making a pit stop on the way home from work I decided on a kebab from Anatolia. The food was okay but portion sizes were disappointing despite paying £7.50 for an extra large kebab. The reality was that it just about passed for a small. (See picture)They certainly saved a few pence on Kebab meat but they've definitely lost a customer based on that experience.

Brilliant kebabs and decently priced. No fat or grizzle on either chicken or lamb doner. Would definitely come here again

I have always had takeaway from here and intend to eat in soon. The service is quick and friendly. The food is flavourful, hot and always to my taste. They let me choose my own salad and things which is nice. Only Fault is that Baklava is on their menu and not once in a year have they had any when I've asked for it.

Popped in to get diner for the family. Great selection and all freshly prepared . Good value and amazing chips.

Had a couple of takeaway chicken and lamb kebabs recently. I found the meat to be better quality than other kebab shops however the chips weren't great. The cafe part looks nice. Good service and good choice for kids menu.

The staff here always welcome you to sit and dine in but if your fancy a takeaway the food is just as good. Reasonably priced, Fresh and tasty food with freshly cut salad and sauces. Kebabs tend to be associated to nights out, booze and munchies but I would say Anatolia break that pre-conception with its various kebab platters, tasty rice, bread to die for and even taramasalata and proper tea.

I love this place usually, always spot on food with great fast and reliable service however when i ordered yesterday I was over charged, delivered the wrong order and then when i bought it up the service i received was appealing, really disappointing as myself and my boyfriend are regulars and between us use this place at least once a week. Still the food was exceptional though.

Went in on the 3rd October ordered half lber with cheese and mushrooms with chips got home and only 1/4lber. Payed a visit tonight on 10th October let the guys know of the problem they just laughed so I bit my tongue and place my order half lber cheese mushrooms and chips and get home just about to tuck in and oh yes mushrooms missing bloody great will never use again!! YMGAP's

First time visit with my son on his recommendation. Had the set meal for two for under £20. Couldn't fault it. Massive amount of food. Easily enough for three. Full of flavour and beautifully cooked. Amazing value and definitely recommended. You have gained another customer. Well done.

This small, simple restaurant / takeaway is one that I've visited for lunch and dinner on a number of times in the last few weeks and the quality of the food has been good, we'll cooked and tasty. It's also Halal so suitable for Muslim diners. See my photo for a typical platter. It's worth the little extra to have your cooked to order meal served on a plate rather than in a plastic box.

Well what else can i say but brilliant the food is always brilliant with the extra genuine charcoal taste as they use genuine charcoal and the service is brilliant as well

I have eaten here on many occasions and always this place has excelled itself the food is always hot prompt and served brilliant will the charcoal taste probably the best kebab shop I have ever been to

Have been twice now and each time have had an absolutely delicious shish kebab and tsatsiki with pita and drink. The meat was really lovely and tender - perfectly cooked and the meal also comes with cous cous and salad. The music and staff help to create an ambiance that you might actually be in Turkey rather than the back end of Ashford! Also (as I'm female) I didn't feel uncomfortable eating alone, and would quite happily bring my friends along on a subsequent visit.
