Amici's Cafe Ristorante in Three Rivers

Very cold in restaurant asked for poached eggs but would not be changed also said no mushrooms but was very recultant to take them off the order got no replacement instead very recultant to go back

Amici is a good quality cafe/restaurant with a very large menu. There was plenty of choice for a light lunch with a few daily specials. The food was decent quality, portions were generous, prices were reasonable and service was quick and friendly. There tea-time food such as cakes toasted tea-cakes. There is free parking on the road nearby.

Absolutely Appalling!!!! Terrible service, very rude waitress. Very unhelpful with the menu too. My family and I were made to feel about as unwanted as possible. I decided to take the family to Amicis for breakfast for the first time ever after hearing about how nice it was. It really isn’t very nice at all. Unable to make minor changes to menu items which is very frustrating indeed. Wrong orders then turned up at the table and at all different times. Mine turned up cold too. Unable to order a cheese and ham sandwich for my son who had to pick cheese or ham? What? Unable to have scrambled egg with my breakfast even though scrambled egg is on the menu? What? It was busy but we were hardly asking for much, we’re we? This is our first and definitely our last Saturday morning trip to Amicis for breakfast. Not sure how they survive with this attitude and approach and with lots of other options locally to go to in the area. Avoid if I were you. Really not worth it. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Very expensive for what it is too.

We’re a group of retired work colleagues who meet up on a Friday for breakfast our numbers can be between 3 and 8-the staff are excellent as is the food

What a lovely little cafe. Tables outside for when the sun is shining but also the choice to sit inside. Friendly staff and easy to grab the attention of if you need anything extra, although they do check on you enough. Will definetly be returning!!

Freshly cooked food, priced sensibly, and served always with a smile. Whereas the menu does not change often, there are always the Chef's specials to consider.

Amici’s is a great place. Everything from staff, cleanliness, service and food is on point! I have been visiting for years. Kids love going there too 😁 It is evident that they’re working really hard throughout these strange times to keep us all safe whilst dining there. Well done and thank you x

What a great place for brunch. Terrific food, friendly and happy staff. Had a bacon baguette and my wife had a Croxley omelette. All was wonderfully presented and terrifically tasty. Cafe seems a proper social location with loads of people popping in and visiting friends already there!! Most definitely recommend to all!!!

Lovely, family run, friendly Italian cafe. Always scrupulously clean. Tasty food and great place for children. Service was a bit slow, but expected given it was their busiest time. Friendly staff who are always happy and willing to please. Highly recommend.

4 of us went for lunch and loved this cafe. Everything from eggs on toast to fabulous pasta dishe with a glass of wine. Friendly, helpful, family owned/oriented so very relaxed but fabulous food. Great gluten free options.

Had a lovely lunchtime meal here. Extensive choice of dishes both traditional English and Italian.Very reasonable in price and portion sizes are good. Didn’t need an evening meal that day!!Definitely returning - would be a lovely spot for a celebration if open in the evenings.

Usually went to Simmons, had salmon egg bagel and vegetarian breakfast, both delicious, warned us of a wait as they were busy but ended up quite prompt. great and generous

We are lucky enough to live about 5 minutes drive from this wonderful cafe, and we are regular customers. The coffee, and hot chocolate are very good. There are some very good cakes available, and the staff could not be more friendly.There is some seating on the pavement outside if you prefer not to be inside.For those of us "oldies", Wednesday is "pensioners' discount "day.Strongly recommended.

Never a bad meal, great at what it does and would highly reccomend. Service is great and a nice relaxing place to eat in.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, we were not rushed into choosing our choice of meal and were served with our drinks straight away, our breakfasts were absolutely delicious and piping hot. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with plenty of room to feel comfortable and not squashed in.

My wife and I went for a very rare morning out and decided to have breakfast in Amicis , we both decided to choose the Amici special and wasn't disappointed. The food and service was amazing and we are already planning another visit soon.

As always good value coupled with friendly service makes Cafe Amici the cafe of choice for me. Croxly Green has its fair share of eateries to choose from but Cafe Amici is head and shoulders above every other one.

It seems a touch negative to start off a review by saying that there is nothing special about the food served here...but there isn't. What it is however, is good...all of the time. No matter what your order, you will not be dissapointed. The Amici breakfast, vegitarian breakfast, jacket potatoes - all great.

I had half an hour to spare so stopped for lunch. Very good selection of hot and cold food. I had a coronation chicken sandwich and a coffee and both were very good. Good friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

I called in for lunch with my Mum on a busy Saturday. We had such a great meal, the omelette was fantastic and really good value for money. Super fresh ingredients and friendly service. We will definately return.

I've eaten a few fry ups in my time and this is simply the best, local to me and probably visit monthly as treat, always consistent food quality and service, clean, tidy and delicious

Driving after meeting and visiting friends. Bright early but very hungry. A true Italian experience, with a English twist. The menu had a big variety for every taste. I had the Amici special, good mix of clean cut freshly prepaid food. Waiter was very attentive to everyone's needs. Local stop for Italians, every now and then people speaking Italian made it wonderful. Great food with an outstanding customer experience

stayed at the local premier inn we didnt like the look of the breakfast so decided to go for a walk came across the harvester had breakfast in there we went back on the monday morning and it was closed but i remembered walking past Amici and we agreed to go in there it was by far the best breakfast we have ever eaten 2 of everything!!

Highly recommend, really good business lunch buffets. I use them all the time for our meetings as the quality of the food is great, they have a choice of menu, they cater for the more difficult diets and the delivery is always on time and very friendly.

Being honest it's not a place I would have thought of for lunch..possibly a breakfast but how wrong was I. My sister suggested this local cafe. It was busy and we were lucky to get a table. Service great, food fresh and tasty and great value for money..will def go back soon

We asked Amici’s to cater for a family funeral and the food & service were excellent. Great selection of buffet food and really helpful, friendly staff who were very considerate to our needs. Would highly recommend Amici Cafe to anyone.

My work team & I went to Amici’s yesterday for an end of term meal. We pre booked a table for the 9 of us & had a wonderful afternoon with excellent food, outstanding friendly services, great prosecco & the perfect relaxed environment. Guy & his team couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. Throughly recommend Amici’s and love the fact that we were helping out our local community shops! Thanks Guy ☕️

We went here on a Saturday morning it was very busy but we found a table for three of us we all had to the Amici special breakfast which was more than enough for all of us. We couldn't eat all of the toast! Service was polite friendly a little slow to take the order but the food was fairly quickly delivered. There was also 6 police officers having their breakfast which I guess is a good sign that this is a good local cafe! £7.25 each which included the mug of tea.

Friendly and professional staff, great selection of food (we usually go for the full English) and lovely atmosphere. We love having this cafe on our doorstep!

The breakfast was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, but it was more on the worse side than good. The eggs were not free range, we waited for it for 20 minutes and the sausages are (I'm sorry) but disgusting. I took a bite and spat it out, my partner didn't eat his either.

Very good breakfast with amazing coffee, a bit of Italy in Croxley Green.Service is excellent as well.

Amici provided the food for my wife's 70th Birthday Bash last Saturday night. There were eighty of us partying and the food was simply great. Imaginative , adequate quantity and not least very good quality. We had great feedback from the revellers . Thank you so much for helping us celebrate . Use the cafe a lot as well and this really is a little gem . We are lucky to have them in Croxley Green

My son, brother and I had a fabulous breakfast at this lovely cafe. Great service and plentiful breakfast and at a reasonable price too .. definitely will return ASAP ! Highly recommend

This was a quick lunch with a family member who I haven't seen for a long while. I haven't been here for lunch before and was amazed how busy it was. I would like to thank Tony who advised us to have something simple because there was a long wait for cooked food.

Popped in for a some lunch having been to Cassiobury Park in Watford. Really good. Very reasonable prices. This little cafe has been really well thought about. Menu to suit everyone. Children will love it too. Well done, Amici's Cafe.

Four of us visited Amici's (again) for breakfast to celebrate my sister's A-level results last week. The other three had the full English breakfast. Their breakfasts were cooked beautifully and they were huge portions and great value for money!

Servicio agradable café estupendo. Filete con un poco de super baguette con mostaza inglesa. Recomiendo el desayuno inglés completo si su hambre. (Amici especial. ).

I'm not in this part of Hertfordshire that often, but at least now I have a go-to spot for grub having spotted Amici just off the main Watford-Ricky drag thanks to TA.The biggest bonus for me was a proper club sandwich, the first I've had in ages. Loads of places have this classic on their menu but don't deliver - I've been served chicken roll (!), the bread not toasted or not three slices, I've even had one with sliced boiled egg as an unwanted extra.Here it was the real deal - triple decker toast, top notch chicken and bacon, salad with plenty of mayo, everything a club sandwich should be (and crisps).A big strong mug of tea washed it down, elsewhere on the table a quality baked spud and a well-filled bacon and egg roll made it a solid light lunch all round.Service is friendly and welcoming and if there's likely to be a wait because food is cooked to order they keep you in the picture, the place is obviously popular with locals and there were some tempting Italian specials on the board - a touch too much for our needs, but worth investigating the next time I'm down that way.

Always come to Amici' for our meet ups, which isn't often enough. Great atmosphere, chillaxing place to be. Spent all afternoon there without feeling rushed. Had lovely food (had italian omelette. Second time I've had it cos it's so yummy) and lots of tea and a cake. All great quality and good price. Service is fab, they can't do enough for you. Will always go back ☺

A few of us had hot drinks here after a Hertfordshire Health Walk. The cafe was very pleasing to the eye, eg there was an attractive selection of cakes and some Italian things, and it looked very clean too, including the toilet. Inside the cafe I saw that quite a few people were eating cooked breakfasts. The food looked tasty. We sat outside, as there were four small tables on the wide pavement and one of us had a dog. When the sun came out it was lovely sitting there.The staff were professional and friendly. I would certainly come here again.

Family run business, great value & fantastic Cappuccinos. Very popular, so it must be good. Had the lasagne which was meaty and delicious.

We visited London this weekend and stayed in Croxley. After reading reviews we decided to have breakfast on both mornings at Amici's. It's clearly a family run business and they're very proud. The food was as expected, delicious and we'll worth the money. My only bit of negative feedback is that the tea is not as hot as it could be but the coffee was spot on. We will definitely be back if we stay there again

Lovely place to eat - food was fresh and yummy. Portions were big too. Staff were amazing and so friendly - particularly with our 19 month old baby. They all made a fuss of her such was so refreshing - most places see toddlers as a pain but here she was welcomed xWould highly recommend and will be our new regular place for lunch and dinner x

Relaxed friendly service. You'll never leave Amici's hungry. Excellent breakfasts, sandwiches and especially delicious pasta dishes. Not recommended if you are in a rush, this is a place to enjoy Italian style.

This is my local cafe. I usually have a coffee and croissant. On my recent visit I had scrambled egg with smoked salmon - a full English is too much for me but other people's look scrumptious. The cafe is always spotlessly clean (loo included). The staff are friendly - typical local cafe. Love it.

I had breakfast here this morning. A great place to have breakfast or lunch, great atmosphere, excellent food and good value for money. If I could I'd have breakfast there every morning, a great start to the day, highly recommended.

We have been to Amici's a few times mainly for a quick breakfast on a weekend which I have to say is great, but today I went with my sister for lunch, I had lasagne and my sister had carbonara with garlic bread, beautiful food, my sister couldn't eat all of hers it was such a large portion me on the other hand I ate all of mine. Well worth the money and the staff are very welcoming, definitely recommend.

Two of us had poached egg on toast plus bacon. All very good, well cooked & nice & hot. Coffee is always good here. Good value for money. *The staff could at least acknowledge you on entering - which would be nice....

Have eaten here a number of times, be it for a full English breakfast or a light lunch. Food is always of a great standard, good portion sizes and excellent value for money, service is is spot on with the staff all friendly and efficient particularly Guy and Oli at the weekend, would highly recommend.

Went here for the first time a couple of days ago, despite living locally.....Chicken Caesar salad, with crispy bacon is simply the greatest dish EVER created.

Step into this little Italian bubble and enjoy a lunch amongst friends. Café style with good home cooked food. The food can take some time to come out, but order a Peroni and relax, it's not just throw into the microwave here!Staff are friendly, and attentive and I would defiantly pop in here for coffee rather than a high-street chain. I couldn't recommend enough.

I have visited Amicis on many occasions for breakfast and lunch. The food is always freshly cooked and staff are all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is always filling and well cooked with a good selection, the Amici Special and New Yorker breakfasts are very good and all the food is good value for money (maybe a bit more smoked salmon on the New Yorker, but that's just my opinion). The lunch menu is of the same high quality and the restaurant is always full at this time, in fact it's full from breakfast time with a mixture of new customers and regulars attracted back by the food and friendly staff. My last visit was two Sunday's ago as my daughter wanted to start her 18th birthday day with breakfast there which we arranged with the owner so they decorated the table with few balloons and banners (which we supplied). She appreciated the sentiment and it was really nice of the restaurant to do it!! Would I recommend here? Of course, except it will make finding a free table harder next time.

This family friendly and cosy eatery is a lovely place for a spot of breakfast, or even a bit of lunch.The staff are friendly and the atmosphere homely and warm.The food is well prepared and the quantity satisfying.It is my favourite place for breakfast.

Delighted to find that cafe in an old favourite stomping ground of mine, is welcoming and serving great food. We turned up as they were about to close, really keen for a cuppa and cakes and they were happy to serve us. Fab coffee and an array of hot food we will have to return for but what we did have was very good anyway.I wish them all the best and hope lots of people find them equally hospitable.

Always call in for Coffee and toast when working around there. .Friendly and Helpful staff . Nice way to start work and get over M25 journey. :)

Love this place for a sneaky lunch or breakfast with friends. They have a great selection of food to choose from. Get in there before 4.00 as that's the time it closes.

Like i say, the food was well cooked, presented etc, but the two of us thought that for what the place was and where it is, it wasn't particular value for money.

This small cafe located in a small parade of shops is ideal for a lazy weekend breakfast. All the food is cooked to order and covers a very wide choice of items.Newspapers provided for you to read over your tea or coffee while waiting for the food.This cafe is also open during the week but it seems to attract a different clientle then.

My friend recommended this Café to me who lives in Croxley. Since then I cannot keep away. The food is first class, the portions are huge and are delicious. Staff are very welcoming and do everything they can to help. Spotlessly clean, faultless and I'm am fussy eater.

My husband and I often visit this cafe for Breakfast at the weekends. We've tried lots of places in the local area but this is definitely the best! The food is fresh, well cooked and reasonably price! All the staff are welcoming and friendly - you feel like a valued customer from the moment you arrive!

This is the second time we have been and yet again we were not disappointed. The breakfasts were superb, well cooked, good portion size. The club sandwiches are delicious, in fact too big for some and ended up taking half home! Service is freindly, polite and professional. Just had to wait a bit on a busy Sunday afternoon. But it was worth it. Will defintely be going back.
