This place is a real institution. Restaurants come and go but this one just gets better and better. Very good value lunch. Pleasant courtyard for eating out. Very friendly staff and, most important of course is the food - all made with really good ingredients...

WOW! The food you can eat here is fantastic, I tried this risotto recommended by the waitress and I couldn't make a better choice, between the fresh fish, rice and lemon you have a bomb of flavors in your mouth that is truly amazing. I will definitely be back!

We celebrated the wedding reception of a very special couple at Amici a few days ago. We were very warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived into a lovely courtyard setting. We were given plenty of time to socialise with new and old friends over a glass of bubbly and canapés. The meal was fantastic, the service was excellent!I’ve dined here a few times and have never been disappointed.

Este es un restaurante italiano realmente agradable, amable y genuino. Tuvimos una cena temprana en el amplio y luminoso comedor principal. Tuve la parrilla especial y la señora TrickyD tenía lubina.La comida estaba muy bien cocinada y llena de sabor. La lista de vinos también es buena con una lista cuidadosamente curada de vinos por copa.Estos fueron de gran calidad y precios razonables.Una muy buena comida. .Ah, y tienen un buen espacio en el patio / jardín solo para bebidas o aperitivo.

¡Nuestro nuevo local desde que nos mudamos a Kennington hace unas semanas! Nos encantó. El camarero era muy amable y servicial, la comida era realmente inventiva y no era en absoluto las típicas cosas aburridas, pero realmente creativa. Todo era fresco y casero. Y los precios son muy razonables para un área tan central. ¡Definitivamente vamos a estar de vuelta!

La primera cena al aire libre de la temporada, y no podíamos imaginar un lugar mejor. Gran cena y servicio amable. Recomendar.

Live nearby and have walked past Amici loads of times and wondered what it's like. After a few post work drinks on a Friday night my girlfriend and I really fancied pizza and were heading to pizza express when we thought we'd give Amici a go. Really glad we did, staff were so friendly and accommodating, restaurant was buzzing and the pizza was great, proper Italian. It's winter at the moment and absolutely freezing so we didn't check out the little inner courtyard dining area. Looks great though and imagine it's lovely when temperatures pick up.

Siamo rimasti tutti a bocca aperta. Il posto è molto accogliente e caloroso.Tutti i piatti erano eccezionali, si percepiva la freschezza degli ingredienti e la qualità dei prodotti. Staff molto accogliente e servizio veloce ed efficiente.Vi consiglio vivamente di fare un salto qui.

C’è poco da dire.Piatti presentati in modo creativo, con sapori esaltati da ingredienti di qualità, tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa!

Just popped out for an early dinner but ended up staying for 3 hours - sharing board of parma/prosciutto with olives, delicious pizzas - diavolo, and tasty recommend desert of Mille feulle with apple and cinnamon followed by good coffee. Great service and reasonable prices, nice low level jazz playing, easy on the ear and great decor. Will def return - the owner is lovely - very attentive and gave us great suggestions ! Thanks for a lovely evening :)

This is simply my favourite restaurant in the world. Delicious food, great service and it is always sunny. Great for cricket lovers as it is just around the corner from the Oval but aim would recommend it all year round.

We were still jet lagged and wanted somewhere near where we were staying. We arrived just after 6pm the first there. The courtyard was a delight, herbs, and trees in tubs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pasta and gnocci were perfect, tasty fresh flavours. The coffee with the afogato was one of the best we have had. Highly recommended.

The Amici of Highbury corner was very welcoming, clean and well situated for Highbury and Islington station. It was very clean and offered a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are good and it offers omelettes, sandwiches, cakes, and salads. It is highly recommended and also offers a decent real coffee & tea. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Party of 9 on a hot Saturday evening. Sitting outside made it feel like we really were in the Mediterranean! The food was obviously fresh and all cooked to order as it was hot and delicious! The service was good and fun! Will definitely go again and would not hesitate to recommend!(The beer was expensive as they had run out of draft!)

Tuve una cena de cumpleaños en el patio para 40 personas. Fue un éxito y de verdad una de las mejores cosas organizado jamás! ! Had high expectations for this place as it looks from the outside like a lovely placeSadly the visit was underwhelming and expensive for what we hadThe food for me wasn’t great. The squid starter was so over priced at £9 for what we got 5 small pieces, the Calzone was way to cheese and only half filled the doughService was hit and miss with the female staff friendly while the male staff cold and sternOne plus for this place is the elfresco dining a real plus in the hot weather

El servicio era atento y amable y el ambiente creado era especial. Uno de nuestros camareros recomienda un vino, y fue una gran elección. Sólo comido una vez aquí, pero sin duda volveremos. Habiendo pasado ya sólo para poder sentarse, sin duda la comida y el vino nos haga volver.

I joined my cousin and her work colleagues, a group of 11 at this restaurant. It was my first time. It was a lovely place. The weather was warm so we ate in the courtyard where other patrons were eating too.The staff were friendly and nice. They were attentive and explained the items on the menu. However, the service was slow. We had to wait awhile for our drinks and they took ages to serve extra chips. By the time they were served we had finished eating our food. I had steak well done with chips. The portions were small but looked pretty. The dessert was very disappointing, I never ordered dessert but others in the group did. They ordered Panna cotta, but the version they got resembled cold custard with crumble and a couple of raspberries on top.If you have a big appetite or are hungry I would not recommend eating here. The food was overpriced, but then we were eating in Kennington, so I was not surprised. However some of the party were disappointed with their portions.We left with a joke when one of the party ordered an espresso. He waited such a long time we called it slowgo.

Food was good and service was friendly and responsive. The pizza was messy with runny sauce and lots of cheese, but it was good.

Fue un poco decepcionante. Las raciones eran muy pequeñas y con hambre después de dos campos. Mi plato era bastante insípida y calamares muy duro. No hay opción para sentarse en el interior o en el exterior. Hemos ido a un supermercado para conseguir un postre bastante pesado.

Un nuevo barrio 'eatery ha llegado en Kennington con pedigrí impresionante. Tenía día maravilloso de principio a fin. Gran restaurante barrio cumple todos los requisitos. Mucho tiempo desde mi última visita, debido a su renovación y bravo. Debo decir que ha hecho el equipo de Amici trabajo fantástico, es un lugar precioso agradablemente informal. Los cambios también están visibles en el menú gracias al nuevo jefe de gran talento italiano: encontrará todos los favoritos esperado de una napolitana favoreciendo copiosos platos y luz de temporada de pasta y carne de pescado y marisco, y orgullosamente todo preparado en casa. Los ingredientes frescos y mezclas de sabores deliciosos = cuando la pasión se une técnica (dueño y Chef Garofallo Houman Gennaro). Todo el mundo puede cocinar platos de pasta o pizza, o pescado, pero ninguno puede hacer como este Chef y su equipo.

Pero una noche tranquila martes buen servicio, comida sabrosa, y Ron Baba. Opciones sin gluten gratis limitado.

I have been to Amici twice in the last week and both visits have been excellent, The pizza that I had last night was delicious, and one of the best I have had. Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes on a thin crust, superb. The glass of Primitivo I had was also good. The prices are also very reasonable. I would definitely go back again and would highly recommend Amici.

Lovely service and a wonderful and affoarable Italian menu. Would thoroughly recommed the crab linguine and also the wild boar ragu. We keep coming back

Reservé una mesa para el cumpleaños de mi novio y yo no puedo recomendar lo suficiente!Había una atmósfera encantadora y relajante. El camarero era muy atento y servicial y que fueron tan amables de poner una vela de cumpleaños en su postre que era un toque especial y fabuloso.El menú es pequeño pero hay algo para todo el mundo y se notaba mucho cuidado y atención para la comida. No nos decepcionó. La pasta y los postres en particular, eran absolutamente divino (y generalmente no soy una persona de postre! )con un precio razonable!Gracias a todos en Amici y sin duda volveremos!

The owner/managers are some of the nicest people you will meet. Great food with super friendly service.The place itself (recently refurbished) is a great find for indoor or outdoor dining. Previously we tended to visit mostly in the summer; but will be dining all year round now!!

He estado viniendo aquí durante años para el almuerzo, reuniones familiares, así como cena de negocios y nunca me ha decepcionado. A veces se vuelve repleto de gente especialmente si el tiempo es bueno (el jardín es sublime) pero hacen todo lo que pueden para por favor. Es un restaurante familiar que lo hacen tanto en casa como sus salsas, panes de masa de pizza y pasta. Sus especiales muestran un nivel diferente de sofisticación: platos regionales cambiantes semanales lleno de sabor, pero no agobiante.

Fuimos allí en verano - sorprendido por la calidad de la comida el servicio y el ambiente. El restaurante tiene un jardín secreto encantadora estaba a tope de gente y sin embargo nos consiguieron una mesa - estaba completamente lleno, entonces obviamente un lugar popular. No nos dejara para 2 personas con 3 campos - uno se sentía como si estuviera en una pizza de romano

Este fue el más horrible italiano que he estado. Me trasladé a la zona recientemente y me ganas un decente italiano. La lasaña no tenía carne y sabía como caucho - nunca más y le contaré mis muchos amigos que viven en la zona, horrible!

Lamb main came with 3 pieces of lamb in it. The rest was sauce and a dried lemon. Rest of the food tasted fine, but I'd like to have a bit more meat in my main dish to be honest. I doubt I'll order from here again.

Having eaten at the restaurant a few times I knew this food was going to be good. The portions are a very good size, and the meat was very well seasoned, and they make fantastic rice. Overall we really enjoyed it. Our only complaint is that we ordered one rice and one bread, but they gave us 2 rice. We phoned the restaurant twice but there was no answer. I will be sure to check it while the driver is still there next time.
