If I could give more stars I would. Superb customer service & food. Our dog was made to feel so welcome & even brought a bowl of water. Would definitely recommend & we wouldn’t hesitate to return 👍

Excellent meal at the Alumchine. Very welcoming and friendly. We had 2 dogs with us so popped in to check we could bring them in. Went for dinner on a very stormy autumn night. Food was fabulous. They had a curry on and the lamb balti was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant

Just had a Sunday roast there wasnt keen on the slow cooked meat , gravy tasty but like water and no mash potatoes and not the variety of veg that they advertised 😏

We were recommended by our air b and b owners while on a break in Milford Haven the location by the water, service from the friendly staff and food were great. With a variety of choice on the menu and excellent puddings will be back if we return to the area.

The Alumchine in Nayland is an absolute delight! The restaurant's views of the Cleddau Estuary are breathtaking, making dining here a truly special experience. But it's not just the scenery that leaves an impression – the food is exceptional! From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. To top it all off, the ambiance was elevated to another level by a talented saxophone player who performed during our meal. The soothing tunes created a wonderful atmosphere that complemented the delicious food perfectly. Moreover, the staff at The Alumchine were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel right at home, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're looking for a restaurant with stunning views, delectable food, live music, and a friendly atmosphere, The Alumchine is the place to be. I can't recommend it enough – it truly exceeded all expectations!

Been waiting to come here for a while! Place hasn't changed since I visited it many many moons ago before it was alumchine. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Sat for our meal in the 'conservatory' area and watched the sun set which was lovely. Menu is plentiful and with specials 'board' brought to your table. Food was delicious. The bruschetta was especially delightful. Nice touch was the finger bowls to clean your fingers when tucking into the seafood platter and wings. My only critique is that the menu on the website and in house differ not only with dishes (slightly) but with price too. I personally look at costs when choosing a restaurant unfortunately my pennies are not never ending and in the cost of living crisis I think this should be addressed.

Paid a visit with family whilst on holiday in Wales, family live nearby & visit regularly Such friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere &dog friendly. Fabulous menu choices & a specials board. I had beef stroganoff which was absolutely delicious, generous serving, had to leave some If we're in the area again, wouldn't hesitate to visit again

Highly recommended to all our guests the food is outstanding as well as the staff and customer service! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover this place is without doubt the best and will not disappoint!

We've been in the area for a few days, have eaten in lots of places and by far this is the best place we've eaten all week The food was always lovely but what really made the place special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere and outstanding staff. Steffie, Sean, Bryn, Dilton and Jess were all wonderful and I can assure you we'll be back again soon.

I enjoyed a superb evening at The Alumchine. The staff were really friendly and helpful where nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food was excellent with generous portions and all very reasonably priced. A real gem of a place - very highly recommended.

Beautiful fresh seafood lunch with family. My FIL and MIL ordered from the lunch menu too which had a wonderful selection of options for all palates, including vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options. My two year old daughter loved her pasta dish with delicious tomato based sauce with veggies and my four year old daughter ate all of her freshly homemade goujons. The coffee was really tasty and they serve oat milk too which is a win for me! Lovely to watch the swans swim by while enjoying our food. The service was wonderfully friendly and we had the pleasure of speaking with the manager on the way out. Will definitely be back to this little gem in Neyland when back in Wales.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch there, the beef was nice and thick and tasty, veg was nicely cooked, the stuffing ball was large and delicious, followed by a delicious banoffee roulade. The location is great too, overlooking the estuary and it's a nice place to dine.

Only had a pint after sailing, but we were given a great welcome and The Sunday Luches that were being served look great!

Didnt book but managed to squeeze us in as long as we could get off the table by 2pm which gave us an hour and a half which was plenty of time. Lovely Sunday lunch, plenty of it too although we did opt for the large. Only complaint is that it could of been a bit hotter. Wonderful sticky chocolate orange pudding too.

Such a lovely place. The staff are all superb and yet very relaxed, so it has a lovely vibe right from the start. As for the food, everything our party ordered was so well done, but we couldn't have been happier with our Seafood Mixed Grill - it was to die for.

Went there tonight, specifically because they cater for Coeliacs! and my goodness they had such a variety for my partner, brilliant service too! Its hard to find gluten free service in Pembrokeshire and the Alumchine has really pulled it out of the bag here. 10/10.

Food was beautiful but took nearly 3 hours for a main course and dessert to be served for 3 people on a Thursday evening, very slow service and staff not very knowledgeable of menu or beers available unfortunately.

Amazed by the serving; presentation and quantity! Very fast service as we were heading for the ferry. An unassuming spot on a car park. We'll definitely re visit it

This was a fantastic find. We were staying locally and this came up as the best place to eat. From the moment we walked through the door we knew it was going to be good. The welcome was warm and genuine - every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The menu was great, with fresh local produce. Be warned about the portions however - you will not be able to get to dessert unless you pace yourself! Good food, great service and value for money - what more could you want?

Not as good as it used to be... Seafood mixed grill. Had hot and cold fish mixed together... Hot fish was overcooked and rubbery.

Great selection of food & awesome sea food dishes. Cocktails on tap and a huge selection of gins. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Fantastic views.

Really impressed! Nautical themed inside outside dining on the waters edge.. A lovely happy atmosphere, food and drink was excellent e.g. seafood risotto to XXL burgers; specials board available, the presentation and portions were really very very good!! (Doggy bags available too) Booking recommended. Definately going back. Thank you

Italian Restaurant With Dreadful Italian Food, even the pub food in this business was still not good, Yet still priced as a top range restaurant. Save your money and go to your local pub.. Or just book a real Italian restaurant. I was the only Italian in the building and there food that is classed as Italian is disgusting. The coffee is very weak like weak filter coffee. This is a boat club, not an Italian restaurant. They had no drinks menus, the draft taps didn't work, staff had no idea what was going on in the building. If you book here just prepare to be disappointed... Response to your claim of fake news... I was the head chef of an Italian restaurant in London, I have been to your restaurant, sat down and ordered almost everything on your menu, your "Italian" food was bad enough to make an Italian feel insulted. Your pub food is okay but over priced. its not fake news it's the truth, your only photos of your dishes was posted by the owner... Your draft was not working on the day I was in your restaurant, if you the owner are confirming that this has never been true then I would wonder why your staff had told your customer this.

Note: As the restaurant correctly states, we did not eat here. My review is solely based on our experience trying to eat here. I highly recommend calling to make sure they will have a spot/will serve you. We had chosen to drive here based on their menu and their reviews. Disappointing. We stopped by on a Monday at 7:20pm looking for a place in the area with non-pub food (as I suffer from IBS/IIS and was in desperate need of food-food - if you have IBS or IIS and still dare to travel on your time off w/o meal prepping, you know what I mean) and we were told it was fully booked until closing. There were plenty of tables available inside and outside. No one else waiting for a table. We kind of stared at each other to see if we weren’t well dressed and looked at their entrance sign to confirm this wasn’t a member-club restaurant because we were so confused that they wouldn’t take us even if we were okay waiting. Such a shame, since we looked forward to trying it out and I would’ve loved not feeling sick after eating or having to medicate just once. :) (Decided to reflect on my review and update my thoughts after being called “bitter” by people who don’t know me at all. That was not nice… or professional.)

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated a baby shower. The service was impeccable, made us all feel relaxed and welcome. The food as always never fails to disappoint. Will definitely recommend the Alumchine and will be a returning customer very soon.

Eaten there numerous times , absolutely delicious food whether it’s starters , main or delightfully delicious desserts !! Steffi and her team provide a great service , nothing is too much trouble . The view over the harbour is lovely too . Highly recommended

May Bank Holiday weekend, Sunday night, last minute thought to get food, allowed us to come across this gem. We rang to book a table an hour before eating. Beautifully situated on the Neyland shoreline, with views over a slipway and the cleddau River, it was a fantastic backdrop to the restaurant. Staff were attentive, without being too much, the restaurant wasn't overly packed, but enough to feel comfortable, especially in our current climate. As I said, It was a Sunday night, on the busiest of weekends, and sold out was splashed across some of the boards including the roast dinners, which was a great sign. My husband chose to have the Tuscan mixed kebab, he asked not to have the honey and yoghurt dip, but, when given a choice chose the sweet chilli dip. A sight to behold - a hanging skewer, with a variety of meats and the aroma was stunning. I can confirm it went down very easily, and he enjoyed every mouthful. Myself, I chose to have the fettuccine Alla Marinara. As a seafood lover, I prefer the fish dishes, the menu has several options and there were some special seafood dishes sold out. This dish, I was very pleasantly surprised with how much mixed seafood came with it. The sauce was divine and although I am not a pasta lover, it was well cooked and plenty of it, I would recommend this dish. We are looking forward to returning to the Alumchine, and trying other dishes, because of location, staff, great food and reasonable prices I give this restaurant a 5* review.

Amazing food at a reasonable price with a stunning view

The Alumchine is a wonderful place to go for a meal. We have been several times and have not been disappointed. The garlic mushrooms are amazing. We also had a seafood sharing platter,which we failed to finish as there was so much. Our go to place for any occasion.

Had steak dinner Sat night Excellent. Cooked breakfast Sunday morning Excellent. Hot tasty food, efficient and very friendly service in a beautiful setting - What more could you want?

Staff are great and our waitress was very friendly, but the food was so disappointing. 'medium' steak was absolutely cremated, Mussels and Garlic Mushrooms were bland and just lacked any real flavour. Kebab was passable but underwhelming for the money. Very disappointed given the impression they seem to give off online.

We booked in for lunch to celebrate my other half's birthday and had the most fantastic meal. The service was excellent and we were very impressed with the approach to Covid with lots of safety measures in place. The staff cleaned door handles every time someone came in and out and there were plenty of hand sanitisers fitted in various locations.There was a varied menu available and a specials board.Two of us ordered the seafood risotto and two of us the belly pork from the specials board. It was all delicious.We'll definitely be going back.
