Went to almost famous today with my partner and kids. Would highly recommend for any burger lover. As always the food was amazing, the staff was lovely always checking if we needed anything. The place was very busy but nothing was too much trouble for the staff special shout out to Kaitlin who served us today she is a credit to the place

Went for the unlimited brunch. Ordered our last round and weren’t informed that it wasn’t going to be included in the deal until after we had ordered it. Ruined the experience.

Massive thanks to Kaitlyn who served us tonight, she was brilliant! Very friendly and efficient. Will definately come back thanks to her! 5 stars! ⭐️

Popped into Almost Famous for a quick drink & a bite to eat & straight away the look & feel of the place was good. Music playing & a nice atmosphere. We were shown to a table upstairs, ordered our drinks & ordered salt & Pepper chips & phoenix fries as well. My phoenix flies weren't too bad, seemed to be loaded with peppers, onions sauce, etc, but some of it tasted a bit on the cool side for some reason. My wife had the salt & pepper chips, which wasn't what she expected (I don't think she wanted all the sauce & onions on top!) So she didn't eat hers. When she mentioned this to the girl who came round later, the response was just to say "Sorry", nothing else. Overall, maybe it might be somewhere we think twice about next time.

the burgers here are unbelievable. i want to use the term “instragrammable” but in a good way as they look as delicious as they taste! i can’t wait to try the bottomless brunch here, what a bargain.

Initially looked funky and welcoming however food poor and tasted awful. Total waitress who walked off and ignored comment. Added to that a service charge was added to bill which we didn't notice til we had paid! Asked if this was advertised anywhere to which she replied ' oh I think so not sure' and again walked off! Poor service, Poor food and wouldn't recommend. Shame as we wanted to try something new, we did and would say go elsewhere.

Wanted to try their burger as seen some good reviews! Honestly it was a bit disappointing- we tried the phoenix burger, (£13 for a small burger)! would expect a place that specialises in burgers to check how the customer wants their burger cooked! The patties were well done! Nothing extraordinary, it was seasoned well! Another let down were the fries, we ordered the bacon bacon fries and we were served vegan bacon fries ( not even sure what that means) and we were charged full price for the bacon! When we seen the bill that’s when we realised that they served us vegan bacon fries instead of bacon bacon fries which we ordered! The server even came to clarify the order and I corrected her it’s bacon bacon but we still ended up with the wrong order! Another small thing we had requested the server to get the burger sliced in half, but that was not noted - a small Thing which can be overlooked but sometimes it’s about attention to detail that gets you the brownie points! We mentioned this while paying the bill, the lady was polite and just apologised and moved on charging us the full price! The place has a nice atmosphere and vibe overall !

I must say that I was disappointed by the quality offered. The sauces are not free and the hamburger is served without salad or fries. Friendly service.

Myself and my partner came here last night for our dinner and oh my god literally Deeeelicious. Honestly the best burger I think I have ever had. I got the ‘Butter, Blood, and Bleu’ which was amazing, the bits of steak were so tender and the blue cheese sauce was so good and not overpowering. I got the pig & Waffle fries and the pulled pork was so good, I literally can’t say how unreal it was, if I lived here I’d never be away. Partner got the ‘Triple Nom’ burger and the bacon bacon fries which she said were great. We also got some ‘Blasts’ which are their version of tenders and legitimately they were so tasty, drenched in a Smokey BBQ and with a blue cheese dip which honestly, is a combo made in heaven. The place itself is funky as hell with a graffiti style urban feel, loved it. 10/10 & will return. Staff were friendly and helpful. They also had a deal on for half price burgers meaning all our food only came to £37! Recommend to anyone who likes burgers, and anyone who doesn’t!!

Had the Triple Nom burger with Phoenix fries and it was amazing we also got a side of chicken strips with the bbq sauce. The burger was honestly one of the nicest burgers I’ve ever had and the chicken was amazing. The waitress was friendly enough and we didn’t have to wait long at all for the food to arrive

Nice food but one star knocked off as food arrived cold. Went during January when they're doing a promotion of 50% off burgers which makes it better value, otherwise potentially expensive (£12-14 for a burger which doesn't include chips).

I have just returned home from having to attend hospital as I ordered a mocktail as I am allergic to alcohol and they mistakingly put tequila in my mocktail no apology yfrom manager no help had to make our own way to hospital staff meed training on allergies coukd of been so much worse

My mum asked for a mocktail and asked to make sure It was a mocktail, she recieved her drink and had a sip out of the drink and realised her blood pressure went very high her face swelled and throat started to close over to which followed her to suffer to breath properly. No one approached us with first aid. No staff member or manager asked if we needed an ambulance and left us to deal with the situation ourself in there restaurant. The manager didn’t approach my mum to see if she was ok or needed anything. We didn’t get an apology and just had a rude reply of the manager who came across as not caring. We are absolutely disgusted and this restaurant had no clue about first aid or customer service. My mum has an alcohol allergy and the staff didn’t care how serious this could have been or has been for us. This caused my mum to be rushed to hospital.

Nice burger and chips a bit pricey but you get what you pay for - drinks also pricey

I booked here for lunch for my husband's birthday early January. I booked online which was very easy and nice to get a reminder via text with booking confirmation We ordered various burgers with sides of fries to share. The food was delicious we all said the burgers were one of the best if not the best we'd had. They were very filling with some lovely toppings. Service was excellent very friendly My husband's burger even came with a sparkler for his birthday which was a lovely touch

Atmosphere and service from Kaitlin are server exceptional. Burgers really big and filling. Drinks lovely to and cocktails are the best I like Watching them being made behind the bar. Been hear loads had a small problem with my burger tonight first time and not a problem sorting it out for me lovely customer service glad we have Kaitlin as are server the last few times coming. Gorgeous burgers and loaded fries every time.

The burgers tasted as good as they looked! Burgers are on offer for half price in Jan, for the loaded fries, 2x burgers and 2 fizzy drinks was 32! Definitely go back.

The atmosphere was magical, the food is insane, and one employee in particular, Matt, was astounding. He offered great customer service when it came to drinks and catering

Long story short we ordered burgers as a group food presentation and size in on another level, the drinks were massive, the service was on point and atmosphere presented itself well and stood out, overall experience was amazing and decently priced will take my second half there 🥳😎

Always friendly service in here. Somewhat off the beaten track so you do need to know it’s there. Good burgers with great combinations of flavour. As a vegetarian it’s nice to have a menu with multiple options to chose from. Menu items are marked if they can be made vegetarian or vegan. Most recently visited when the burgers were available half price so the price was very reasonable. Atmosphere is good, not too loud but not eerily silent. The bacon bacon fries are a must try and they are available plant based too!

Excellent food and service, the staff where all very pleasant and helpful. This was one of the best (and biggest) burgers I've had. I ordered the blame it on the whiskey burger, they kindly swapped the double cheese burger for a buttermilk chicken burger and along with the other toppings it was delicious. The kids thoroughly enjoyed there meals aswell. We look forward to returning.

A few days ago now …So the service was busy the food was amazing but I forgot to order sauce as someone came out of the area where I’m guessing is kitchen saying he was on his break (big guy beard tattoos ) he seen me walking towards and asked if I was ok I just said needed sauce and he talked me through what he could give me then ran back in and brought out a selection …. Visited with family for a birthday celebration, burgers wouldn't have been my first choice but I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed mine. The service was good and we were well looked after. However the toilets were a little grubby.

A really lovely restaurant slightly outside the main centre but within a few minutes walk of Central station. We went for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed The service was lovely very friendly and informative. The burgers were delicious and so tasty. We all ordered different ones but we all thoroughly enjoyed what we chose. Would highly recommend

Ambience a little dark and I found the music whiny! However, the service from Kaitlin was exepliary, and the food is incredible!

Lunchtime visit. First to arrive but quickly filled with customers. Interesting decor with a disco ball in centre of the room. Milkshake was superb, and burgers and fries equally as good. My good burgers at a good price, the service was pleasant although with the noise it was difficult to hear the waitress, in short a success, the burgers are not very big but we didn't leave hungry so it's great.

Kaitlin was amazing - really attentive and lovely! Food was great - the bottomless is really good value for money!

It took us 25 minutes to get a drinks order when we arrived after we had to find a server ourselves and even so they brought us the wrong drinks. We ordered a kids burger, a famous burger and some loaded fries. The loaded fries came to us cold and the burger patties seemed to have come from a packet. The atmosphere was alright and the best thing about the order was the milkshakes.

Had it not been my Daughter’s birthday choice, I would not have chosen here. Really not worth the price for something you can make yourself at home for basically oven chips and waffle fries that you can buy in Aldi, ‘pimped up’ with various toppings...

We visited for the 1st time on Sunday 10 Decembwr 2023 about 3pm. Drinks were expensive and filled top to bottom with ice. Probably less than half full with cola. But staff were very quick to replace them for cola without ice free of charge (i think). 2 of us asked for chicken instead of beef on our burgers as we don't eat red meat. One of burgers was more expensive as it come with steak, we asked for it to be replaced with chicken. The food arrived after about 30 minutes. The boss fries were cold/undercooked and toppings soggy. The burgers were only just warm. The people who don't eat red meat had beef pate in their chicken burgers and bit into the burgers before realising. The burger with the steak etc just came with everything removed and one piece of chicken. So was a £13 single chicken burger. All in all, 4 soft drinks, 3 burgers, 2 (cold) boss chips, chicken bites and two people eating red meat for the first time in 20+ years cost £81!! 😑 Nearly fell off my seat!! Staff were very nice but didn't get the order right and food was left standing for quite a while before being served. Not good value for money 😕

This is our go to place to eat at any of our company get togethers. The burgers are amazing. This is Liverpool is my go to choice. Not one of us leaves disappointed with our food and the selection of choice is great. Always a lovely atmosphere and the staff are always happy to serve you. 5 out 5 every time.

Myself and my family came as part of a party of 16+ all of our meals where correct food was hot and fresh, servers where helpful and attentive couldn’t do more for us. We will be coming again some time soon

Awesome indeed! The Awesome HQ burger was absolute smack! So many amazing flavours. The sauces and the meats, just incredible. Cooked perfectly and had delicious slaw oozing out to make it a real mess which is just what I enjoy! The wonder tots made it a top draw meal with a divine cheese sauce plastered all over them. I have to mention the really long wait time for my food which got frustrating. However, the staff were apologetic and fortunately the food was more than worth the wait! The ambience in the place is great but they should have more staff on considering how busy it gets. Next Visit: Another INCREDIBLE meal! This is the best burger joint in Liverpool. Not as good as their 'Awesome HQ' I had last time but that's a high bar! Couldn't fault the service and the place has a cool atmosphere. Get yourself here for an amazing messy burger fix!

Always love coming here. Food is top shelf but always find the service slow. Staff love cuddling behind the bar and floor staff seem to vanish but other than that we keep coming back.

The burger was one of the best I have ever eaten in my life. The meat was good and the sauces were delicious. Would recommend to any burger and fries lover! The fries were really well seasoned. I got the 10£ deal ( a burger and fries) and it was definitely worth it’s value. The food didn’t take too long and it wasn’t really busy at 14:00.

I had the Famous Burger. It was one of the best burgers I've had in years, and with excellent fries as well (you need to order them separately). Totally recommend this place if you're craving a good burger in Liverpool at a good price. You won't be disappointed. Service was also very fast.

By far the BEST BURGERS!! Atmosphere relaxed and quirky, staff were great, polite, had a personality. Only downside is they haven't extended down South! But long drive was worth it!!

The best thing about the store is the indie playlist. Burger has nothing to do with the advertising that stands in front of the store. Burgers just as soggy and bland as at McDonald’s. Bland veggie patty. The only difference in taste is the sauce. But that will cost you €13.

Celebrating son's birthday with family, I was not feeling great so didn't actually order anything but the family did they did enjoy the food but we did all agree it was loud due to music which made it difficult to talk to each other and hard to hear waiting on staff

My hubby pretty much has burgers 🍔 most times we go out so this was a bit more of an exciting event for him than me 😮 However, all in all the burgers were great, I had a boozy milkshake which hit the spot, the whisky burger & phoenix fries. Took me ages to decide what I wanted as it all sounded really good but found myself looking around the table with food envy at other ppls choices! Although my fries were good, they were a little too overloaded for me, I know that's the point, but it made them a bit too sweet for my palette but I thought the mix of potato & sweet potato was fab. I preferred my friend's boss fries, the curry sauce was great & there were plenty of onions & peppers on top All in all a good meal, fab experience, the cost was a little on the higher side which is fine if you are a burger enthusiast but for me the dirty fries were probably more of a winner. I was craving onion rings with my burger too & was disappointed there were none on the menu. I wouldn't fail to recommend to friends & family &.hubby was pretty happy with his choices but we all left stuffed! 😂
