A great cinema. Nice and comfortable reclining armchairs, clean and plenty of parking

Worse service ever. Huge queues and staff stood about doing nothing awful. If I hadn't already booked I would of left !!!!

Comfy seats. Great view on the screen due to pronounced slope. But a couple sata beside me on my left were extremely badly behaved and were talking, even when the movie started and the guy kept looking at his mobile throughout the movie creating blinding light with his mobile screen, despite clear instructions not to do that. No staff to police around. Very poor on that side. I had to tell them to keep it quiet. They complied but looked offended that I dared talking to them. Some people have no manners. Thus 3 out of 5.

I used to use the lowery cinema alot. But since the changes lack of heating we use bolton find it airy and staff helpful

Decent cinema but I don't like the reclining seats personally. However what is worse is it is always cold, today it was freezing. You can't enjoy a film like that.

Been watching first 2 I Diana Jones film. Fabulous selection of items on the concessions, fairly reasonable priced, hot dogs available too and this is where you now get your tickets from. We enjoyed the Recliner Seats in the screen. Wonderfully comfortable, amazing tray and plenty of room around and in front of each chair.

Food Kiosk staff were efficient, helpful, and friendly. We went for a family movie day, and they brightened our day. When we went for milkshakes and Latte, the girl there was looking miserable, given miserable service. Worst Latte of my life, was so flat, without any milky froth. When i told her why it was so flat not frothy, she rudely replied that the latte never is frothy. Only cappuccino is frothy. I told her i have been having Latte all my life, and i know how latte should be. I think she needs some training.Recliner seats were really comfortable and spacious.

Great cinema with great seats, the food selection is the best out of all the cinemas. The staff are really helpful here. I usually go to Cineworld as I am a member there but for big film releases we come here for a treat with the exceptional seats and food with a built in table for the chairs. Great all round experience. Thoroughly recommend

Can't beat comfortable seats and a great film

This cinema only tends to show "popular" films. You have to go to Home if you fancy something more arty. Prices are expensive. Vue also has the loud voice of a young man telling you how to behave before the start of the film. It's patronising and offensive. The cinema is clean and comfortable. It also shows NT live shows which is a great opportunity to see something often from London considerably more cheaply.

Bigger screens and more seating than Preston. Great seats.

Till staff rude just kept shouting the price at me each time I asked for pocorn or any extras. Has the recliner chairs for everyone which makes it perfect popcorn a bit of a high price but what can you expect from a cinema all in all a good place to go see a movie.

The best cinema in Bolton and one of the best in the North West. I have enjoyed coming to Vue Middlebrook for years, it's my go-to cinema as not many cinemas are as good. The best thing is the reclining seats which are standard across the cinema and make watching a film really comfortable. The ticket prices are reasonable and there's 6 hours free parking. Vue Salford Quays is the next best as that also has reclining seats. The screens and sound are fantastic and the staff are always friendly. You cannot beat going to this cinema to watch a film and escaping the ups and downs of everyday life 🍿🎟️📽️🎞️

Fantastic cinema, great for watching a movie in comfort with the reclining seats.

Went to see Aquaman and the lost kingdom, the venue itself is spacious with starbucks, Ben and Jerry's, and counter items to choose from including hot food and snacks. Great place to watch a movie, the recliners are just what you want with plenty of arm space and comfort

Now cashless system in place. Sorry I will spend my money elsewhere

It's not organised. Messy screen. Watching wonker kids messing no staff to be seen. Food and drink are so expensive.

I loved this cinema. I had no idea it was in the biggest retail and leisure park in the UK. The cinema had extremely comfortable seats, lots of leg room and was sparkling clean. There were lots of restaurants to choose from, including Yo! Sushi, Pizza Hut, and many other favourites. I can't wait to visit again!

It's now my closest and favourite cinema. I always like taking in a new movie at this Vue franchise. The cinema is conveniently located in the middlebrook retail and leisure park, which is adjacent to Bolton Wanderers Football Stadium. . Each screen has reclining seats and lots of space to stretch out, which is a massive plus compared to older cinemas in the area. . The venue is next to a Starbucks and TGI Fridays so you can easily combine your trip with either if you want to make an evening of it with the family or friends. . Middlebrook has lots of free parking and you can always get a space regardless of how busy the shops are.

As usual, food is lovely. Service is good but obviously very busy at Xmas.

Good experience but need be more on talkers and people on there phones

Love it here apart from our past 3 visits the toilets have been really unclean with no toilet roll or soap, on one occasion the cinema screen itself was still full of food all over the floor and the seats and on top of that it’s been absolutely freezing from half way through the film. The only thing that keeps me coming are the recliners as I suffer with my back and I struggle in normal cinema seats.

Watched Napoleon at 1905 last night, Horwich. At points struggled to hear what was being said due to the noise from the film in the adjoining theatre.

Brilliant and extremely comfortable experience. Loved the seats, the surround sound, and the screen. It was my first visit to watch the Marvels and I was happy with what I found. A great choice of ice-cream and restaurants. Clean cinema halls. I'll definitely recommend it to all my family and friends and I'll sure be a returning customer. It's much better than the Cineworld in Bolton. Looking forward to watching Aquaman in December in Vue Cinema. If you're reading this then you must book and enjoy your experience with the recliner seats. I felt like I was in the comfort of my own home with the luxury of a large projector screen. We'll worth it!

I write this with deep regret as I used to love this cinemas but staff have turned away my 5ft 8 16 year old daughter for a 15 rated movie twice!!!! Staff are clearly getting a power trip turning away customers as she clearly looks as she is (older than 15) it’s ridiculous! Needs new management, Vue Bolton used to have a much friendlier atmosphere. It seems hostile now and staff seem unhappy which is sad to see. It’s supposed to be a fun, family filled establishment :(

Happy with Vue just a pity some people have no cinema etiquette - unfortunately ended up sat next to a couple who must have gone through 20 bags of food during the film eating like pigs, phone on, talking/laughing during quiet scenes. Pfft.

Love the recliner seats, very comfy and great that every seat is one and you don't have to pay extra for them. The pricing structure on tickets is very simple to understand. Unfortunately it's a little bit far out for us to come every cinema visit but we will visit again. Great experience 🌟

The cinema looks like it's had a magic wand over it. This was our first time and only really came here because the film show times suited us. Apart from the cinema there's a whole load of stores, eateries, bowling, shopping all in one place. It's pretty impressive. We were in cinema 7, and every seat was a leather motored recliner and very comfortable for the entire film. As usual we purchase some of the overpriced food and drink and as is the case with cinemas, they don't often see much of the revenue from film studios so even if you have a grudge against buying cinema food, unless you want to see them dissappear please buy something. Overall, staff were great, food was good and the cinema itself was very enjoyable. Pity the film didn't meet expectations bit we still enjoyed it. We'll be back!

Absolutely love this Vue cinema in Bolton, easy to get to. Staff very helpful and welcoming, and cinema very clean. Plenty of space in every screen and lovely reclining chairs, can highly recommend.

Both me and my son love Vue cinema at Bolton Middlebrook retail park, easy parking, relaxing environment and off course reclining seats. Our other local cinema has closed which is a shame but it's fine as this one is available and better.

A grandparents return to the cinema experience and can highly recommend Vue at Middlebrook based on our visit to see Sonic 2!! 👌 Spacious entrance and well designed seating set up in the individual cinema. Luxury reclining leather seats with drinks holder and tray. Plenty of legroom and superb surround sound all led to an amazing return to the cinema for us Best thing....the staff. All courteous and pleasant from the ones behind the counter to the ones waiting to come in and clean everyone's mess up after the film, (why don't people take their own rubbish out of the cinema??) Thanks everyone, thanks Vue, we will be back

Good seats, film in smaller screen but view was good. Bit of a con adding 90p to each ticket booked online though. I'm sure visa don't charge £3.60 for a transaction of that value!

Arrived only to find out i had booked Bury instead of Bolton 🙈 Theresa the manager was so helpful and swapped the tickets over to Horwich without any problem ….honestly can’t thank her enough.

Nice comfortable seats, great experience

First time visiting a Vue cinema. Well worth the price. We used discount code through Day out with the kids and we were very happy. The seats are perfect for children and adults. They don't have to struggle pushing it down and have ample room to move and adjust as often as they need. There is loads of room in front and behind so that if they need to stand there is no risk of bumping seats. It also helps being so spaced out because you cannot hear others easily. Highly recommended. Also a bonus that they allow you to bring cold non alcoholic beverages and cold food. We bought popcorn there and brought kids a treat and water in. Very clean too.

Great cinema, but the last few times we've been service has been very slow. Last time it took 30 mins to get served.

This is a popular cinema with a great choice of snacks and even alcohol for those who don't have to drive. Staff are great and it is in a great location near bars, restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking too. N don't forget those reclining seats.
