All Hail the Burger in Wigan

Visiting wife family in Leigh. Usual 5 hours journey that should take around 3 1/2. Just eaten the Mac style burger. Worth every penny. The smoked quality of Burger King with the feel of McDonald's thrown in with the Mac style sauce. Probably the best burger I've eaten in a long time if not ever. The bun was a poppy seeded British type roll that also complemented the burger. Very well priced and when in Leigh again I will visit again. They do a weekly special that I'm informed are always very good. Had it again on 29/03. Just as good as 3 years before. If I lived here this would be a regular buy.

Solid experience, my friend overhyped the place so had high expectations but it's pretty good and would go again.

Food was OK not exceptional. Would be better if they had other options for the buns than the seeded bread.

Thought it was about time I tried this place as I live fairly close by. Well, I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the 'Beef Hoisin' special with the regular fries special 'Poutine.' Both were absolutely delicious.

We were visiting family in Leigh and needed a quick takeaway and went for this place as great tripadvisor reviews. OMG. Totally amazing burgers! If that wasn't enough, the Korean fries were to die for!! Housin sauce and cheese and who knows what else!! The smoker burger was quite unique. Fabulous. Don't be put off by the lack of shop fancyness, it is very basic but who cares, its a takeaway shop where all the energy is going in to producing quality burgers with home made sauces and some imaginative flavour combos in the specials.

A little pricey, really are delicious and have never been disappointed. Only complaint is they sometimes seemed to be closed when they are supposed to be open with no mention on the door or on the telephone when this happens.

Best burger you can possible have.

After reading the amazing reviews me and my partner decided to give it a whirl, with only living minutes away and passing all the time but never looked appealing from the outside. We both ordered the cheese burgers which were absolutely delicious although my partner had no complaints but my burger was cold so was a little disappointed to say the least.

This is my first port of call for a top quality burger. The quality of the produce used is superb. The buns are light and fresh. Everything about these burgers is excellent. If they awarded Michelin stars for burger bars this would have one. In fact the food is better than some Michelin star restaurants. Superb chef. Keep doing what you are doing.

This such a gem of a place!  Incredible burgers, made with passion and care.  The burgers taste amazing.  I am, not so slowly, making my way through the menu, and have been blown away by each variation I have tried.  The fortnightly specials are excellent and demonstrate just how much innovation and passion is behind this business.  The staff are so friendly and helpful.  Each member of staff is polite, courteous, warm and super helpful.  The shop is extremely well maintained and the high hygiene standards are apparent from the moment you enter.  No wonder they have gained a 5 star hygiene rating.  The burgers themselves are incredible.  Each detail adds another level to the flavour. The beef is ground in house and the quality is clear.  The coals on which the burgers are cooked add a real depth of flavour as well.  Small details have clearly been focused on to ensure that every part of the burger experience is of the highest quality.  On the recent special Tres Chillis burger, the pickled chillis used were a particular Spanish variety sourced from Manchester which added a heffier punch than the lighter coloured varieties more commonly found in supermarkets.  Sliced cherry tomatoes rather than large beef tomatoes, whole grain mustard used to create a mustard mayo rather than simply using american yellow mustard, poppy seed baps rather then standard seseame seed or the trendy go to brioche variety.  The quality of the ingredients is clear.  I recently had a Smoker Burger which came with a thick piece of smoked back bacon on top.  It wasn't fatty, it wasn't cheap, it was a thick slice of well smoked bacon which perfectly complimented the smokey BBQ sauce and Chipotle mayonnaise (also comes with a smoked cheese but I had mine without).  Each choice carefully thought through.  Their sauces, all made in house, are excellent.  The BBQ sauce, Mac Sauce and chipoltle mayonnaise are all fantastic. My kids adore the food from this place as well.  They refer to them as 'smash burgers' from 'Hail the Burger'.  My 5 year old paused mid way through his first burger from here and said out loud to himself 'mmm so tasty'.  He is fussy eater and rarely gets through a meal time without prompting to keep eating.  Not when it comes to Hail!  Each of the burgers on the menu come in a 'mini' version with fries for £4 so they are perfect as a kids meal.  With each of the menu choices you can also add a second burger patty, but be warned it is a serious challenge to finish.  Problem is that they are so delicious, it is hard to stop yourself even as the meat sweats kick in and you begin to struggle to lift it to your lips! I cannot recommend All Hail The Burger highly enough.  Specialising in one area and making sure they get it right.  There are few things can beat a good burger done well, and this place does the best! 

I love this restaurant! They give great meals, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently tasty, the attitude towards the clients is very good too. I visit often this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend this place.

Ordered a takeaway from here the other night and cannot recommend highly enough. Really juicy burgers!

Ordered a collection Saturday evening and enjoyed a lovely helping of grub! Wanting to try more than one burger I went for a mini mac and mini smoker. My girlfriend had the cheeseburger with fries. We ended up with loads of fries because the mini burgers came with a portion each too! I went for sweet potato fries which were fantastic. The portions were very generous too. In terms of the burgers I'd say the smoker was my favourite, although I felt the mac burger wasn't quite prepared right. The picture showed cheese sauce oozing out everywhere but it seemed more like it had been missed out altogether from mine. Definitely somewhere I'll try again though and the service was great from the girls out front. I did have to wait a few minutes despite being dead on time for the collection. But the food was fresh and hot.

I never used to be a big burger person until I came here! The burgers are just incredible, so juicy and full of flavour and packed with good stuff, delicious sauces and with lovely baps. And the sweet potato fries are absolutely to die for! I’ve been here many times and the standard remains impeccable! So good to have a great quality, fresh and homemade take out like this in Leigh. I never have a burger anywhere else because they’re no where near as good! Thank you AHTB!

Without a doubt, the best burgers you can find anywhere. So juicy and flavoursome. Regular changing specials. Always order the sweet potato fries to go with it as I can't resist them. If you've ever had a bad experience with takeaways then this place will change your opinion. Restaurant quality food. Just please please please don't ever join in with the "just eat, food to go" apps.

We visit here once every 2 weeks or so. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. We tend to buy off the specials menu mainly.

Best burger place by far , good value and very tasty , although not in a very busy area they still seem to get good bussiness which speaks for its self , it’s not ur simple burgers this is excellent tasty burgers that you wouldn’t expect in a takeaway .

Hands down the best burgers in a 10 mile radius. Unreal sweet potato fries. Great homemade brownies and cakes. Always keeping it fresh with the weekly specials as well. Thoroughly recommend.

First visit tonight, to see if it lived up to the cracking-looking website... It really didn’t disappoint. The two young girls serving were friendly and professional and my order was ready very quickly. Ordered Fries, a brownie the ‘Hail the Mac’ burger, and it was gorgeous. Good value for money too. I will now be returning to work my way through the menu. Definitely worth the drive over from Westhoughton: easily the best burger I’ve had, this side of Manchester.

It was 8 o’clock in the evening and we just fancied a burger but not something mass produced and tasteless. We called in at All Hail the Burger and ordered two cheeseburgers. I am writing this 30 seconds after eating them. They were the best burgers we have ever had. This is not just the best burger place in Leigh, it is the best in the North West. Just had a look on their web site and I am well impressed. They use all local produce, the finest beef and make them all fresh daily. The added taste of being cooked over coals is superb. If they gave Michelin stars for take always, this place would get one. All credit to the chef / proprietor. Brilliant!

Good burgers everyone agreed son reckoned better value than Manchester (he lives in M/Cr). Simple is my preference but was tasty without a lot of other flavours going on.

We have been here a couple of times now and the burgers have always been very good. I have only tried the Smoker up to now although my partner tried hail the Mac the first time. I thought the Smoker was very good although my partner said she couldn't really taste the cheese on hail the Mac and preferred the Smoker.

Been a few times and we have always enjoyed! The salt and pepper chicken burger is one of the nicest i have ever tasted anywhere and the dips are delicious too! Would highly recommend to any burger lover!!

If you want a quality Burger made from Quality produce by an owner who cares about the food he produces then don't look any further than AHTB. The specials are amazing and made with a lot of thought and passion in how the ingredients fit together. the regular menu offer s a wide choice and everything is delicious. the shop is very clean and everything about the staff and the shop is of the highest quality

I've had a couple of different burgers fro AHTB. The burgers are top quality with home made relish, at a very good price. An amazing treat and not to be missed

Some friends are regulars & told us about All Hail, they only open weds-sat so we had to wait 4 whole days (the hubbies been on countdown ) We tried double smokies which singles would have been more than enough. I dont normally order take away burgers but ive gotta say its better than any resturant one ive ever had. The sweet potato fries were fab, the standard ones very Mc'D like so less impressive & the mac sauce was far better take on the origanal...Their homemade brownies are, very rich & delicious

Excellent burgers really tasty and fresh and not one bit of grease and I thought that it was a great idea putting the salt packets in with the chips so we could add ourselves

We visit fairly regularly at weekends trying the different kinds of tasty, fresh burgers available - specials in beef or chicken or sometimes a good old cheeseburger with fries. All home made and made fresh. I usually finish off with one of Milla’s brownies which, are always lovely.

I have eaten here a number of times and every time it has been amazing. The regular burgers cheese, all hail the Mac and the smoker are regulars on the menu as they are mighty tasty. The specials are just as good and they are always a concoction that temps me to change from my usual Mac. I would highly recommend this place for any burger connoisseur, the beef and chicken burgers are all home made and I am never left disappointed or hungry. Definitely the best burger place for many a mile and I always make sure I ruin my healthy eating at least two times a month. Great value for money great place to take out.

New to leigh and about time .First class quality food no need to travel all the way to Manchester for bespoke burgers anymore.

We go here quite often as the food is top notch. Definitely one of the best burger joints around and certainly the best in Leigh. It's not cheap, if you want cheap go to McDonald's! You pay for what you get, I wouldn't go anywhere else for a burger . The sweet potato chips are also excellent. Get visiting asap.

I had been informed by my friend about this burger takeaway and how the ingredients were fresh and that they were different than normal burger shops around town. I was not disappointed they had a themed burger which is a lot better than its namesake and they have sweet potato chips very tasty,
