The four of us called in by chance for food and drinks Monday approx 715pm. Chap welcomed us in to a table. We enjoyed Drinks, pad thai, chicken and chorizo skewers. Delicious. Our only feedback being server was very keen to remove our plates.....even though some of us still eating. She also said to table behind us that kitchen was soon to close. ...( just when we'd placed our order) clearly we therefore didn't order more Drinks or dessert. This made our experience feel rather rushed. We would return as food great and location perfect for our stay.

Popped in with son (8) and sister. Lots of tables and friendly and attentive staff, in particulatr, Maddie. Sharing plates fab for a light bite. Great place for an easy lunch and a cheeky wine.

All Bar One is just off Lothian Road in a large square. The decor is contemporary and is nice and bright. It is broadly divided into two areas - on the right as you enter there are large, semi-circular sofas which are great for groups and on the left there are high tables/stools plus a slightly raised areas/alcoves. There is a good selection of draught beers and wines though not a great range of whiskies. There is also a good range of cocktails. Bar service is good but I would say cordial rather than particularly friendly. Didn't eat on this visit so can't comment on this. If you have a large-ish group tables can be reserved even if you are not eating. Nice experience overall. 😀

It was OK....went for dinner with friends before heading to The Usher Hall....serving staff weren't very friendly and we had an issue with food being brought at different time's although all ordered to come together. Wine list was OK. Won't rush back.

Me and the Mrs came to Edinburgh for two days ans found a wowcher to use here for Tapas. The food was amazing! Cooked really nice, not much of a wait time, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and thr person who was waiting the table was very polite.

A charming place where you can enjoy exquisite cocktails and international food. Specifically, the chicken and corn on the cob were delicious. The service was fast and pleasant.

Had lunch deal which is great value, nice vibe and easy to chat till staff put loud music on later on. A bit hard to get waiters attention to order coffees etc.

Great late lunch yesterday. Plenty of time and space, good atmosphere. Friendly service, and freshly prepped food. Special shout out for cocktails - one from Christmas menu was fab and non alcoholic ones will have me coming back.

I needed to book a food/drinks venue on relatively short notice for a small group of people and doing it in person was quick and easy. It was my second time here, the food is good and arrives quickly. No pre-ordering is required.

Lovely cosy atmosphere for a wet Monday night. Great service a special mention for Sara with a lovely smile and very attentive thank you very much .Food was great but marked down for the portion size of the paella (more like a starter ).

Amazing bar on Lothian Road a shirt walk from the Usher Hall! Laid back but very personable service ! All the staff had massive personalities and were super attentive ! Good prices for the location ! Loved all the cocktails and sharing plates ! Will defo be back after our next outing to the theatre !

My girlfriend and I were in Edinburgh for the week visiting from Manchester. We love all bar one in Manchester and knew we had to pay the Edinburgh branch a visit. We opted for the one at the exchange as this was close to our hotel and seemed like a stylish location. To our surprise it was very busy on a Wednesday night and we had not booked. We were greeted by James and he was absolutely fantastic. He cleared a table for us so quickly and got us sat down in seconds with no issues at all. He was so friendly and straight away we felt welcomed into the restaurant. I am vegan and he ensured that I was made aware of all the dishes that were vegan friendly and suggested a few that he loved. The spice corn ribs were immaculate. James was a top server and is an invaluable member of this team and we applaud him!

Fantastic selection of drinks, huge number of cocktails and a a good number of beers on tap. Speedy service and always good chat from the staff, Definitely a good spot to drop into.

Absolutely great spot for after work drinks, went into all bar one with a few colleagues and clients on Friday evening to wrap up the week. Excellent atmosphere, great selection of beers and the option for food is always there. Definitely a great regular spot for local professionals.

Staff were friendly but got the order wrong 3 times. They took orders and came back 20 minutes later to say they hadn't taken enough mains down. We then had to figure out what was missing taking another 15 minutes. Starters came but one was missing and then mains came and one was missing, this took at least 15 minutes to be corrected. Drinks took a very long time to come, one took over 40 minutes and us reminding it was missing 3 times. 20% and two bottles of wine were taken off the final bill but this didn't feel good enough for how long it took to correct mistakes. A pre order and deposit had been offered but were refused.

Food quality was good. We are vegan and we did notice a reduction in vegan options though.

Pleasantly quiet for early lunch

Hannah greeted me well at the front door, and showed me directly to my reservation. She was very helpful and encouraging of what to order from the menu - as this was my first time at All Bar One… I got the ribeye steak!!! The steak was cooked beautifully medium rare! And Sean was prompt on making sure everything was okay when it arrived! All round great service, would highly recommend and definelty come again!

Went in on a Wednesday night and was taken aback by how busy the venue was! The manager in the glasses was very kindly able to squeeze me and my mother in for a quick drink and some nibbles, I’m so pleased that they did! Whilst being quite busy we still received efficient, speedy and courteous service from every staff member! Especially big shoutout to the server working the bar Ryan who was absolutely fantastic! Tasty small plates (had some prawns and duck gyoza which were lovely) and a delightful disaronno apricot sour Ryan recommended my mum described as simply delicious! Wonderful evening that was made possible by some fantastic staff! Will be back!!

We had a lovely server called Max who made us feel really welcome. Had an encyclopedic knowledge of the beer and lager list and low alcohol list he was super efficient and made us feel really welcome.

Food was excellent. Service pretty good though one of our party seemed to be "in the way" of servers going back and forth to other tables due to the very close proximity of the table to a pillar

Can't rate the food because we just had cocktails. They were really nice! Prices are what you would expect so a wee bit pricey but it's Edinburgh.

A really lovely All Bar One. We have been to lots of All Bar Ones around the UK and this is one of the best ones. Really lovely comfortable seating inside plus seating outside, very pretty outside. We had 4 of their plates (very tasty) plus a bottle of white wine. Staff were very fruendly and helpful.

Tapas and cocktails were delicious. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Excellent value with discount voucher.

I've been coming to this All Bar One location for years now and it's always a really good time! The atmosphere is lovely, staff are always so kind and the food and drinks options are wonderful for meat eaters AND for vegetarians/vegans alike! They've been doing a veganuary menu since before it was even popular and they have a good mix of classic and eclectic menu items year round. I went last night and it was great service (as always) from the wait staff, bar staff and manager, can't recommend more :)

I flew in from New York for a long weekend to see a very dear friend and his family to celebrate 26 years of friendship. As such, I was looking for a venue and bar menu that would be conducive. I was completely bowled over at the high end hospitality, ambience and friendliness of All Bar One!! I give this place 100 stars for its menu, setting, service and staff. I would especially like to commend Sara T for her professionalism and dedication to her job!! Thank you Sara!!

Came here for some post graduation drinks and food. Happy to squeeze us in despite not having a booking and the place been busy. Our server, Han (or Ham?) was very canny. Would definitely recommend.

Opted for quick lunch on our way to train station and so glad we did. We had a lovely bottle of Mirabeau Rose wine and really delicious food. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Highly recommend.

My office had Xmas party here. Martin and his team were extremely understanding and accomodating with all my last minute changes. Food was flawless and service impeccable. We had a great night. Office is still talking about how great it was

Place is ok, drinks are ok...but, cashless...so unfortunately, I will not be visiting any of your establishments again until this rediculous policy is revoked.
