Food beautiful as always. I also had a pot of tea. Amazingly it did not leak at all! Highly recommend Alfies

Flew in from Glasgow & was looking for a cooked breakfast before we headed on our travels. Breakfast was fab & also the coffee. Very reasonably priced would definitely recommend 👍

Went here after looking at the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I got the Mighty Fry, it was delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend. Just remember its cash only.

Walked into cafe around 1200 for breakfast approached the counter, a girl came out of the kitchen carrying crockery I said hello she totally ignored me turned back and started to tidy the cups, it was like I was the invisible man , it's a long since I have encountered such bad manners, I walked out but later I was angry with myself for not complaining.

Popular Antrim town centre cafe. Varied menu from traditional Ulster Frys to meals for particularly health conscious diners. Good atmosphere and nearly always packed which is not surprising considering the well prepared tasty food on offer. Friendly efficient waitresses, large free carpark nearby.

Came in for a large fry can't fault it was very nice. I like my fries. And have been here many a time. Although it was busy I am aware that you just can't magic up food in 2 mins but it didn't take that long.

I was in alfies cafe i got the salted chilli chicken and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and the cafe was nice and clean.

I was interested in having a quick bite to eat in Alfie’s. I looked on trip advisor and saw that it was vegetarian friendly. On arriving in the cafe, I wasn’t impressed by the cleanliness of the place. However I can appreciate that it was a busy morning and perhaps they didn’t have a chance to give the place a clean, despite there only being a couple of tables when I arrived. I queried the vegetarian options and was told it was whatever was on the menu. The attitude of the staff wasn’t great at all, I may as well have requested a kidney! I decided to have just a portion of chips, as I didn’t think there was great value for money in having a sandwich etc as I was still paying the same amount despite there being no meat. The vegetarian fry option, had no meat alternatives such as quorn sausages or similar and the breads and eggs are cooked on the same grill as meat products. When I asked if they had separate fryers for meat and non meat options, I was answered with a vacant stare. I then reworded and asked if they cooked chicken, meat or fish in all their fryers I was told they did. I wouldn’t normally leave a negative review without trying the food, but on this occasion I felt the staff could have been more helpful, perhaps some customer service training would be beneficial.

Friendly little place and location good for train Very reasonably priced. Although tasty scones were a little bit hard - certainly not freshly baked as it was only 11 in the morning. Coffee could have been hotter too.

Great food ,had a large fry and tea, nice staff, and would definitely be back, a nice Start to a busy Saturday out with family. Well Done Alfies Cafe.

Would highly recommend Alfie's Cafe for a delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price. Lovely friendly staff, very clean establishment. What's not to like? Forgot to add the coffee was also top notch, strong and hot, very nice👌

Good food and prices and very welcoming

THE MIGHTY FRY was had and what a fry it was. The plate was full to the brim, arriving hot and timely, with thought given to the placement of the items on the plate - although not essential, it was a nice touch, demonstrating pride and attention to detail. Everything was cooked to perfection, tasted delicious and washed down with a hot, fresh mug of filter coffee (including a free top up). The staff were so friendly and attentive, ensuring my visit was perfect. I can see why this spot is so popular in Antrim and with parking so conveniently located right outside, it won't be long until my next visit.

Alfie does a cracking fry......And the rest of the food is great as well . !!! We will be back. 👍

2nd visit to this Cafe as the Fry was excellent the 1st ever visit.We had the small fry breakfast which was great .My Brother was with us and says he will be back for the Breakfast anytime he is Flying from the International . It's just well cooked and well presented.Oh and the girl serving was very nice.

The food and the staff are the nicest , especially it seems to me as I usually arrive in at opening time for my usual small fry and pot off tea.

Had a day out in Antrim Town 22/04/22 and took a visit to Alfies Cafe, what a treat. My good lady had chicken goujons and chips with salad and I tried the chilli chicken and chips with salad. Food was absolutely delicous. Only complaint was portions to big but great value for money. Don't know why people have complained, the chef [ I assume the owner ]came out to talk to us which I thought was a very nice thing to do and asked our opinion. Would certainly recommend and return when back in Antrim. Thanks for a lovely meal.

I go to alfies at least once a week without fail..the large fry is awesome and the staff and service is of the highest standards...keep up the good work guys!

Very good good food and good service

Better than your typical "greasy spoon" polite , friendly , efficient staff . Layout Looks different than I remembered from previous visits (I think I've been 3 times) possibly adjusted due to covid rules , it's not quite the same experience it was pre-covid .

We’ve just recently started eating regularly in Alfie’s. So far we’ve had either a small fry or a baked potato. Both have been excellent. You can order whatever you want in your fry or baked potato. If the owner is not too busy in the kitchen he will come out and chat with the customers which makes for a very welcoming experience. The prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Food is great and service usually fairly quick

Me and my partner visited Alfies Cafe. It was a warm day and we both had our masks on, I was struggling for a breath so pulled mine down (I suffer from allergies and mild asthma) so find it hard to breathe sometimes on especially on warm days. As soon as I done this the chef came from behind the hatch, pointed and shouted at me in the middle of the shop floor. I was mortified. I was so taken back and embarrassed I couldn't even speak. I'd like to reiterate that the cafe is completely open and small, not one customer had a mask on. Even after this we still decided to place our order.. We went and sat down and a young waitress came over and slammed our cutlery down. I have never visited anywhere where the staff are so rude and clearly completely discriminative. Never will I be back nor recommend it to anyone.

The frys where not to bad bit over priced seeing you only get half a potato bread for 6 pound the scrabbled egg was tasteless mush bacon was hard over cooked and for a pound a slice it wasn't really eatable unless you want to be chewing it all day my jaw was getting sore after the first bit tea tasted like cheap tea bags toast could be better bread wasn't fond of all the big holes out of it egg was falling through it

I really loved Alfies cafe. Clean, pleasant ambience, food excellent, coffee even better! I have coeliac disease and my food needs were more than catered for. As a self confessed foodie I am very impressed. Will be back for more!

Marty and the team are a happy and dedicated bunch. If it's just a quick cuppa or a meal you're after, you'll not be disappointed. You choose whether to sit inside or if it's warm, take advantage of the tables outside. They are currently involved in the 'eat out to help out' scheme.

Well been here a few times and never been disappointed . Had my mum who is 85 with me today and wow they have this covit19 in the bag . Great service from the minute you step in and the food , which was two small ulster fries was perfect every cooked just the way it should be deffently will be back well done to all the staff at Alfie's 🌟

Have been in Alfie's few times lately and it's delicious have really enjoyed every bite . The place has a lovely homely feel to it ,the staff are great and Marty himself has been out asking if we ve enjoyed our food can I just say going back to work wasn't easy totally stuffed . Cafe floor was filthy and the food is made from cheap frozen meat and so greasy , pasta had no flavour . It was a waste of money as we took a few bites and left !

Luvly restaurant with ole oak flooring and warm and comfy atmonsphere, food was freshly cooked and quick, staff very friendly like a big family, will def be back , recommend highly.

We have now been to Alfies on quite a few occasions. I'm fussy on my 'fry', but here I am always assured of the perfect one. A fried egg may sound easy, but here, it has a perfect crisp edge, and a soft runny yolk.every time! I've stayed in posh hotels many time before and on request, they can't do an egg as good as here! It follows that the rest, (sausage, bacon, potato bread etc) is all done to perfection. Antrim I admit doesn't have much to offer in way of a shopping trip, but whenever we do go, Alfies is the one stop I always look forward too...

Each time we come to Antrim, our mainstay of eating is Alfie's Cafe. The warmth of the business, not just the physical surroundings is what means the most. Marty and Brenda put their souls and personalities on the plates and in the personalized service. Always leave with the belly full. From the Aussie boys!

My wife and I used to visit Alfies every Tuesday for our usual fry before shopping in Antrim town, always found the staff to be very friendly and the café is always spotless, as soon as anyone was finished and had left the café the staff would wipe down the table and if necessary sweep the floor. We met and made a few friends (four ladies who would come in for lunch) sadly my wife has become ill and it has been a while (October 2018) since we have been, but I hope that they still remember us (chefs hat a present from Benidorm) we are hoping that it will not be to long until we can visit again as the food is fabulous and the fries are great and very filling. They also serve a variety of meals and are reasonably priced, would highly recommend to anyone to visit alfies for a meal if ever in Antrim town. So we will definitely be back as soon as my wife is able.

I've had many a breakfast and lunch in Alfie's! The food is always delicious, and to a high standard,(the Fry's are very hard to beat) staff are friendly and polite,and for such good quality of food is very reasonably priced! I'm always very happy every time I visit! I would definitely recommend to anyone

Called in for breakfast and while it was properly cooked it was greasy and very bland! Was put off by waiting staff not in uniform but own clothes and server who brought food to table had scruffy apron on which definitely did not appear clean. Not what I'd expected!! We both thought it just warranted an ok.

Stopped in with a work colleague in need of breakfast. Fat, friendly and polite service. Both had the Full Breakfast, changes to items were accommodated. Food served hot and efficiently on clean tables. Will use again.
