Alberello in Bexley

One of our favourite places to dine, and my wife and I popped in again (without booking) for lunch on Thursday. Always a fiendly welcome whether you're a first time visitor, or a regular diner. With their outstanding personal service, the staff here really DO make you feel special. For the other reviewers who point out that the inside hasn't changed much over the years... So what? We think it's charming! We have dined here several times now, and the food has always been wonderful. A restaurant with table linen! Now , that's rare luxury to experience these days! So if you're looking for a place to dine, where you'll be treated as a valued customer by people who genuinely care about YOU.... You need to experience Alborello! Already looking forward to our next visit.

Had a lovely meal in a great restaurant. Yes a little old fashioned and not sure about the dessert trolley, but very welcoming and food was great.

Absolutely outstanding quality food with a top service to match. This restaurant never disappoints. We have ben to many restaurants over the years but none ever beat Alberello’s. We love it and have done for the last 30 years. Keep it up.

We had a lovely meal here for my son’s birthday. It’s a traditional style restaurant with very friendly owners who were happy to make recommendations and also let me try their amazing family produced Port. All our meals were delicious from the pasta dishes my children chose, fillet steak my husband chose and the skate wing for me! Everything was perfect ! Service was very good and we enjoyed the drinks too. Lovely place to go with family & friends. Thank you so much for a good night !

Great menu, lovely staff with a nice atmosphere but food wasn’t as good as I hoped. Too salty and too much sauce, presentation not the best, needs to be more modern. No crusty base on the cheesecake either. Was expecting more reading the fab reviews

I would like to thank all the staff for the lovely lunch last Monday after my Mothers funeral. Could not wish for more.

I visited with friends we was asked if we would like bread for the table to which we said yes only to find on the bill that it was £1.50 per person for a piece of French stick which was also the same bread used on the bruschetta starter which came up burnt no seasoning absolutely no garlic just tomato’s on burnt toast!!!! I had vegetarian pasta for main which only consisted of egg plant , my son had rack of lamb which was lamb chops full of fat no meat , ordered mixed vegetables the only vegetables was green beans that came up. Our friend had veal it came up like slices of ham !! Very expensive especially for cut back on quality and quantity of the food

Been a (fairly) regular visitor since 1987 even after moving further away many years ago. Love the place. The food is lovely & not over priced. Went to many restaurants in December including some 'posh' ones in the West End but felt most relaxed, happy & content here! Treated like old friends by staff.

This was an amazing dinner with my family the waiters and waitresses were wonderful people and really made us laugh. I felt welcome and was left with a permanent smile on my face! Not to mention the food!!! The food was stunning I felt like I was in Italy, beautiful food, wonderful staff! I would recommend to families, couples and friends :) and anyone who wants a taste of 🇮🇹

First time back at Alberello in many years as we fancied trying a different Italian restaurant for our Xmas night out with friends. All the food was good but the special scallop ravioli starter was excellent. Monica and her team looked after us very well - great friendly service and we’ll definitely be returning early in the new year.

First time visit. Booked for a Saturday evening, booking is definitely recommended. Parked in the public carpark behind the restaurant which was free. Menus and drinks arrived promptly then we were left waiting for our food order to be taken, while other tables who came in after us having there’s taken ahead of us, eventually we had to ask to be served. However, this problem was soon sorted and between the four of us we had a variety of starter dishes both hot and cold which were very tasty. Our main courses varied from pasta, fish and steak and when the food arrived it was all very tasty, well presented and served hot. Overall a good evening out and we will return.

Myself and four friends had the set menu last night. We found this to be extremely good value for money. All our choices were delicious, served efficiently by friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want excellent food and service in a comfortable setting.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this lovely restaurant, we booked the whole restaurant for us and our family and friends, Monica and her husband and team were fantastic from start to finish they couldn’t have been more helpful, the food and drink was fantastic and the service was 10/10 the menu is vast and the price is very fair, I truly recommend this place be it for a celebration meal or just the two of you, you won’t find a better atmosphere or food in the area, Monica is the perfect host and so professional and helpful! We truly enjoyed the evening and look forward to visiting this Beautiful restaurant at our earliest convenience. A bit cramped and our long table included one position where the backrest of the bench seat was a wall! Not very comfy. Taking our order took a while and my gravy was forgotten.
