I haven’t eaten in the restaurant but have ordered many takeaways and have always been really pleased with the food. The staff are really good at accommodating our vegan diet and offer good alternatives to the meat meals. I trust them in making sure that all of our meals are 100% vegan; they have even called me back after placing an order to inform me that they’ve discovered something I ordered had milk in it - I’m not totally convinced that all other businesses would do the same. Totally recommended.

After seeing such amazing reviews in volume, we just had to visit. Unfortunately we saw nothing reflective of the reviews. A very very average Indian, as people who visit many it doesn’t feature near the top of any list. Not bad. Just not a meal or experience reflective of the great reviews.

Excellent food. Best Indian I've eaten. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced too. Be aware that it's BYO for alcohol but this keeps the cost of the evening down too

We are regular patrons of Aladdins, a family owned restaurant going back 30 years or so and we think the food they offer is probably number 1 in Northampton; we like Indian cuisine and haven't found any others to compete. Good selection of interesting signature dishes as well as old favourites. The staff are genuinely friendly and if you are in the mood, it's also easy to strike up conversations with total strangers on the neighbouring tables, all of course agreeing the place is wonderful! Naturally the fact you can take your own booze as they choose not to have a licence, has not influenced this review in any way!! Seriously, the food and service is really good.

After a vegetable pakora starter we tucked into a variety of three side dishes – mushroom bhaji, chana masala and tarka dal with rice. Taking our time and always keen not to order too much and end up feeling uncomfortably full, we enjoyed all the beautiful aromas, textures and flavours. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and polite and being able to bring our own vegan friendly wine, with the generous policy of no corkage charges, made for a very reasonably priced and satisfying dining experience.

Great food and speedy service. Fabulous menu choices for both eat in and take away. One of the best indian meals we've had in a long time. The restaurant is bright (but not overpowering) and really well decorated. Would definitely recommend service, food and atmosphere.

I ordered a delivery on the phone as I usually do almost every week. Shofi had answered the phone and told us it would take an hour. It actually arrived 2 and a half hours late and Shofi was the one to deliver it. I confronted him on why it was late and he didn't say much. I asked for a discount, but he said no, even though we were regulars and it was delayed.As I said, we were regulars before, but this is the FINAL time we are going to order from Aladdins as I don't want to experience Aladdins just lost regular customers all because of Shofi

We visited the recently reopened Aladdin's yesterday for the first time since 'lockdown'. It's been a long time coming but well worth the wait. There's been some fantastic changes in the restaurant, with new tables, chairs and décor and the place looks brilliant and very welcoming. What hasn't changed is the taste and quality of the food and the wonderful staff who are so friendly and accommodating. I had a superb chicken chat puree and one of the best chicken dhansaks ever. My wife and friends also had beautifully prepared and lovely tasting food. In my opinion Aladdin's still serves the best curry in Northampton at a reasonable price by the most amazing staff. So thank you Babel, Ali, Max, Mox, the chef and all the kitchen staff for a lovely meal and 'Welcome Back'. See you again very soon.

Made quite a big order for a family meal extremely last minute but these guys came through and on top of that the food was FLAWLESS. Absolutely amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you have not tried the food from here yet. You will not be disappointed.

We tend to dine in at least once every 2 months. Due to COVID 19 putting a stop to this, tonight we had a delivery. It was delivered quickly and was extremely tasty Please continue to support Aladdins through deliveries and/or pick ups, as we certainly will and hope to see them on the other side of this lockdown

After adhering to the advice to stay away from populated places, we decided to have a home delivery yesterday evening. The food was delivered within the timescale quoted and of excellent quality, as usual. PLEASE support this wonderful establishment, so that when this pandemic virus ends, this restaurant and all it’s excellent staff are still there for everyone’s enjoyment.

Visited Aladdin's Balti last night with friends and had one of the most delicious meals ever. The staff on duty, Max and Babel, were really friendly and helpful and made our visit a really wonderful experience. I don't care what anybody else says but I found both the lamb and chicken so tender and the food was cooked to perfection and was also really good value for money. My wife and our friends all agreed that it was one of the best Indian meals we had ever tasted. So well done Aladdin's, keep up the good work and if you haven't been I would definitely recommend a visit.

I went here with a group of friends after reading good reviews. I have ti say I cant understand why this lace has soo many good reviews.First of all the we ordered 3 cokes and all of them were flat, so it started off as it went to go on. The starter had not taste to it and was very bland.The main I ordered was supposed to be a sizzler and let's just say was hardly sizzling.My friends mains came out hardly warm and by this time we couldn't be bothered to complain. Their dishes again lacked any real taste and the whole meal was totally unforgettable.Safe to say I wont be going back.

Staff here couldn’t be more welcoming & spent time helping us select our meals.....even getting a pair of glasses for a party member of who had forgotten theirs! Six of us ate here last night & every meal was delicious.....will definitely return when we’re next in Northampton.

Having seen the other glowing reviews of this restaurant on Tripadvisor, we booked this restaurant for our family of 5 while in Northampton. Having now visited, I can only conclude that either the other reviews are faked, or they have wildly different ideas of what constitutes an 'excellent' Indian restaurant. If this is the #No.1 Indian restaurant in Northampton, the others must be dire.

The staff know what they are talking about when it comes to gluten free. I have never had any problems eating out or takeaway from here and they are friendly when advising which food contain gluten and not.

We went to Aladdins for my birthday, a party of 20 so a lot of people to look after. The service was brilliant, the food came out together, my curry was absolutely delectable (chicken tikka dhansak - which is my staple!), and I also tried at least 3 other dishes all of which were very tasty. Can’t fault them, also the “bring your own booze” factor means you can bring whatever you like to drink, which also brings the bill down! Great night!
