Airport Cafe in Ashford

We stopped here for a quick bite on the way to Port Lympne and are very glad we did too. Food was outstanding, hot and fast and the service especially for an extremely busy Sunday was outstanding. We will definately visit again when we are down that way.

Rode for 2 hours from London on my bike to get to this Cafe.... the homemade steak pie ended up being the best I had ever had in my life. Well worth it, would come back again :)

A colleague gave the address of a cafe with parking for trucks, if there’s a rush in Ashforth you need to quickly call and make a reservation, I arrived without a reservation, there were no seats, toilet, water, silence, didn’t look at the kitchen

Always the friendliest welcome, food served really quickly and great portions - so much choice on the menu too!

Proper old school transport cafe, had a breakfast that came with a mug of tea and a doorstep slice of toast, friendly efficient staff, clean facilities, parking for hgv,s as well, not many of these great places left well worth a visit.......

Sometimes they cut tarpaulins. The place is reserved and upon arrival you find out that "someone" canceled the reservation. The toilet is an English tragedy, I haven't tried a shower.

Perfect place. Ate for 9 lbs. We asked in advance whether I would eat on the spot or take the food with me. Since I was on pause in the parking lot, I took the food with me. Everything is very delicious. I warned in advance about my poor English and this did not prevent me from placing an order. The order was placed quickly. I liked it all very much. Thank you very much to the staff. I forgot to clarify, the atmosphere here is great))) And yes, for the future, it is not appropriate to write a review about the Snap parking lot for this place!!! This is a roadside cafe!!

For UK that's no so bad! But toilets & showers need very big renovation. People's who is helping about parks is very friendly and professional.

The parking lot is not very big, the bathroom is decent, the parking lot also has WiFi

My favorite park, every week when I go to England I make a point of staying here, the security guards are friendly, the restaurant has great service. You have to reserve the Park in advance. With a reservation you can arrive at any time and you will have your seat.

I really love old-school cafes in England, they have their own atmosphere, I often come to the parking lot by truck

I have probably driven past the Airport Cafe more times than I can remember but never had time to actually stop by and see what it has to offer. I was traveling back home from Canterbury and decided to drop off the motorway and take the back road instead. I had my mother with me and I asked her if she wanted to grab a coffee and something to eat, shortly after we saw the Airport Cafe and decided to drop in and give it a try. Firstly this place is huge with two large carparks on either side of the cafe, there were probably eigh to ten articulated lorries and fifteen to twenty cars already parked when we arrived and there was still ample parking space. Now let's get to the most important part, the cafe itself, it offers seating for about 60 people, it is very clean and well presented and they were following the current Covid 19 guidelines to the letter, social distancing, face coverings when not seated at a table and cleaning both tables and chairs after each customer leaving. I think that there were five maybe 6 waitresses, they all wore face coverings and were very friendly and helpful and extremely efficient, given that it was about 70 degrees I was very impressed. Now let's get to the food, there is a superb and extensive menu available and in addition you can simply ask to add or remove items and they were happy to accommodate. I chose the all day breakfast which consisted of 2 rashes of bacon, 2 egg's, 3 plum tomatoes, 1 sausage, bubble and squeak, 1 fried slice, mushrooms and a round of bread and butter and a large decaffeinated tea. Everything was cooked to perfection, not greasy or swimming in fat, it was nicely presented on the plate and arrived at the table still hot. This came to £7.50 which is superb value for money in my opinion, mother thoroughly enjoyed her bacon eggs and chips with a large coffee. I have visited many cafés over the years and this is by far the best, I only wish I lived closer as I would definitely be a regular customer. The Airport Cafe is a real gem if you want a great meal, it is not just breakfast food on offer, there are many healthy options to choose from and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are passing through I have to say that you will not be disappointed. Visited again today and it is still excellent value for money 10 out of 10 in every aspect, you really can't go wrong here.

Breakfast to fuel you for the day and much more. Busy and bustling cafe - A draw for bikers, drivers, families and those seeking a decent plate of food. The team work very hard and bring piping hot plates with stunning speed. It's not the Ritz but it's honest grub. Lovely retro interior and always clean. Wash all the great eats with proper mug of tea/coffee.

The cafe itself is sound but the parking is very noisy with fridge units running all night

Can't believe this is 10 minutes from our house and we've never been before !! That will change ! A fantastic breakfast, washed down with a lovely coffee. Staff are superb and really friendy, despite the heat and how obviously busy they all were. ( they keep the place spotless too !) Also loved the undercover, outdoor eating areas. Loads of parking too. We'll worth a visit !!

I Stopped here for the first time last week and it was worth it,very welcoming staff,plenty of seating,very little waiting and good old fashion breakfast. You won't be disappointed. You can even have a beer.

I'm glad the truck stop on the motorway was closed. Its only just over a mile from the roundabout, wide country road, and plenty of parking. Just had a full English, perfectly cooked and a decent mug of tea, in a proper mug not a paper tumbler. The staff are pleasant and professional. I'm now set up for the day and a long journey. Met a friend there for breakfast, great variety of food and drinks, very reasonably priced, it was very busy but the staff were very friendly and our food came out in really good time, they're open until 9pm and do takeaway too so perfect if you don't want to cook in the evening.

Top venue for all day food. Fast, friendly and efficient service.

Went here for a quick bite to eat with the kids they had the homemade lasagna and loved it jacket potato with lots of cheese and beans and gammon with egg chips and peas the portions are very large I had the all day breakfast and it was bloody lovely would definitely come here again price was really good for the size of the portions would recommend to anyone who wants a very tasty meal for value for money.

One of the best cafes I've been in for years.

We have used this cafe for many years and have now had 2 bad experiences the food was overcooked overpriced and tasted awful they must have new management or things have horrendously wrong

Whenever we cross from Calais we always have our breakfast at the Airport Cafe. Really nice service, attentive and loads of possibilities to arrange your own breakfast or from the menu. We had scrambled eggs on thick white toast with bacon strips and coffee. Very good quality and we were the only foreigners from Holland, which is nice to share a place like this with the locals. Conveniences moderate but also up to the mark for an establishment like this. Till next time.
