Went for dinner on spur of the moment as we were craving Italian food. They were very accommodating given that we hadn't booked. Food was amazing, as was the service. I cannot believe we live locally and hadn't discovered this place earlier! Thank-you, we will be back soon!

This is our 4th visit to Adriatico. The service from Tony is always personal and attentive; the food is always exceptional and the atmosphere is of a true Italian restaurant with the focus being on the food and wine. After recently travelling to Rome, we can honestly say that this food is better than what we had in Italy. Just incredible. We came here to celebrate our 5th anniversary and Tony went out of his way to ensure that our favourite wine was in stock for us. He also recommended his own dessert of gelato, profiteroles with a shot of espresso over the top; simply perfect! We can not recommend this restaurant enough! It has held a special place in our heart ever since our first visit and we always look forward to our next meal there. Tony and the team, thank you so much for making our night so perfect!

Fantastic food fantastic people a most visit if your in the area, by far the most authentic pizza outside of Italy. Keep doing what your doing :)

This is a response Actually the word you where looking for is sorry for the rude service we will try to do better . we had already said that we would clean up the food but we didn’t have a chance since we where rushed out ,our 3 year old was asked to stop running she did the other customers where not bothered by this and we’re sorry that 8 month old dropped his food on the floor we’ll tell him not to do that in in future. what an absolute joke 😂😂

The food was lovely however they are not child friendly at all and were not relaxed with children being there and as soon as we had paid they were rude and aggressive towards us all but mostly aimed at the children

Three of us met for lunch (one of whom is Italian). It was true Italian, laid back, excellent food, friendly service. The recommended wine was excellent also goodies to buy. If the passing traffic only consisted of Fiats, we would have thought we were on holiday.

We picked up takeaway pizza tonight. It was lovely- really fresh and tasty. A good variety of food on the menu. Will definitely be back!

I’ve never had a bad takeaway pizza from this establishment, and now I see it has expanded into a small restaurant. We often get a bottle of Montepulciano from Adriatico to accompany our pizza and it makes the experience perfect.

Amazing food and service, the vibe of this place was lovely. The pizza was so nice as I had been craving traditional Italian stone baked pizza for a long time since moving to the surrounding areas. I have finally found my place to come back to and can’t wait to eat here again

6 of us met up tonight at Adriatico to celebrate a birthday. The food was fantastic. Absolutely delicious starters and a variety of mains served piping hot. 1 person was gluten intolerant and this was dealt with easily. The spaghetti ortolana went down a treat. Elio the chef excelled in the kitchen and Tony the owner made sure the Prosecco flowed and that we were happy with everything. We will be making a regular visit going forward. Great place for dinner. Would highly recommend

Just got back from eating here and omg I’m so full! Amazing food, reasonable price and decent portions! If you like the most amazing Italian food, freshly prepared with impeccable and knowledgeable service then look no further. This is where we will be getting our pizza from now on!

Love the simple basic pizzas that taste fantastic. Sometimes keeping it simple has major benefits. A real local gem!

An overdue review. This restaurant is authenticity at it's best. The satisfaction of supporting a fantastic local independent, whilst eating fantastic pizza is quite unbeatable. Haven't had pizza this good outside of Napoli. With most other places distracted by sourdough bases, Adriatico has proper, crisp bases with fresh marinara. Would reccomend picking up from the shop just so you can get the incredible smell when you walk in! Love their selection of oils and buscuits at the end, most you'd struggle to find outside of Italy. Needless to say, I have been many times before and will be going many times again.

In these lockdown times if anyone is thinking they want authentic Italian food you can’t go wrong with Adriatico. It’s understated but wow the food is amazing. Prices are also reasonable too. Gold star for this amazing Italian takeaway.

Myself & 2 friends decided to order takeaway pizza tonite after reading & hearing raving reviews! Well, here's another one! Not having tried Adriatico before we just went for basic Cotto & Funghi which was delicious! Will certainly be trying rest of the menu at some time! Wonderful genuine Italian food!

If you know your pizza’s and want them authentically Italian, this is the place. No stodgy toppings and thick doughy, chewy bases here only good, honest pizzas made the way only Italians know how. Staff are really friendly and accommodating and whilst it is predominately a takeaway, they do have 2 or 3 tables that you can sit in and eat if you want to. And they’re licensed to serve alcohol so a cold Peroni while waiting for the pizza to be cooked is a nice touch (when the country isn’t in lockdown!). Also, try the pasta bolognese with some garlic bread on the side, magnificent! We’ve been through most of the menu now and haven’t had a bad meal from here. Highly recommended.

How lucky we are to be able to pop round the corner for the finest fresh authentic Italian food! Adriatico has got it just right, offering an extensive menu choice at competitive prices and consistently serving up fabulous fresh food with a smile - a true taste of Italy right on our doorstep, bliss!

So pleased to discover that Adriatico could provide a home delivery service to my isolating and vulnerable parents.It was my mother's birthday and the family sadly could not visit.They loved their meal of lasagna, Greek salad and Tiramisu, accompanied by a bottle of house red.Such friendly and efficient service from Tony. Wonderful, authentic Italian cuisine, beautifully cooked & immaculately presented. A firm family favourite for a quick snack or a full on meal, Tony & the team always deliver the perfect solution. This is THE place to go in Lightwater, everything is so fresh and tasty with different specials always coming on. Love it.

This is a real gem in Lightwater, the pizza’s are authentic and just delicious- I won’t go anywhere else. Yet to try the other pasta dishes. The red wine is great to have while you wait for the chef to cook your food.

We came here for lunch on the recommendation of my boss and we were not disappointed. Although a very small "restaurant" having only 3 tables, there was a homely and unpretentious atmosphere.

Popped in for a quick lunchtime bite to eat, not having been before- shared a pizza and a salad. It was proper authentic Italian food- fresh, delicious pizzas made on the spot with lots of toppings to choose from (you can also pick your own). Owner is very friendly and fun and it's a really great addition to Lightwater, which has been short of eateries for years. I love the fact it's authenic Italian food. This place deserves real success!

Forget the big franchises if you want real Pizza .. hard to beat. The only annoying thing is with their limited kitchen you need to order early .. hence * * * * .

Oddly enough, the day before we visited Adriatic for lunch we were talking about the pizzas in Sorrento. Well, here they are, pretty much as good, in Surrey. Fabulous ingredients really well prepared and very reasonably priced. Super friendly. I hope that it thrives.

First time I've used this place for pizzas and they were simply delicious. Great value for money. very light pizza bases and lots of choice. If you like good pizza then you don't need to go to Italy get yourself up to lightwater

This place really is a breath of fresh air to local takeaway scene with both healthy options and guilty pleasures! But the pizza is fantastic and authentic which accompanied with fresh Italian pasta served up with good service making Adriatic my takeaway of choice!

This place is a little gem. Being a very fussy eater is difficult to find a take away to please my taste buds. But food cooked by an authentic Italian chef from Modena in this small brasserie is superb. 10 out of 10. My favourite is Montanara and caprese salad. All ingredients are imported from Italy.

Pizza the way it should be!!! Home made with every slice slightly different as not mechanically manipulated. Great pizza the way it ussed to be. AND you can get great wine delivered to your door!!! No more commercial pizza delivery Adiatico for us.... and brought to your front door on a bycyle - ECO-FRIENDLY! Bring it on!!!

Adriatico is such a welcome addition to the area, their pizza is top quality, authentic Italian thin crust style and they are delicious.

Run by a friendly Italian with a high commitment to customer service, with Italian chefs. Nice menu of authentic Italian pizza and pasta dishes. This is primarily a takeaway but also has a small number of stools and a counter in case you can't wait to tuck in...

The best pizza I'd ever had (up to this point) was whilst I was on holiday in a small village in Tuscany. It was nothing like the american or frozen supermarket pizzas we brits are used to, but was incredibly fresh and light.

Lovely authentic food with smart venue and very friendly service by the owner who went out of his way to accomodate my requests and questions in regard to ingrediants and cooking techniques!

What a great find this new place is, the pizza dough is all made fresh onsite and the owner is such a nice guy. We have been here probably 10 times since they opened late 2018 and love it.

Fantastic authentic Italian food - prepared and served exactly as it would be in Italy. Delicious wine at a great price, canoli to die for & tempting Italian produce to takeaway. I believe they also do takeaway so am already looking forward to ordering some more. This place is a gift to the local area.

Nice pizza at a reasonable price, maybe not as big as Papa John's but definitely better quality ingredients and a local business, rather than a multi national corporation. Well worth a visit

Like a "proper" Italian pizza from Rome, not an American style! We have had 3 takeaways from here now, and not been disappointed, they have extended the menu recently so more to try.

Newly opened takeaway offering pasta and pizza, also deli items and desserts. Telephoned an order for two pizzas and collected after ten minutes. Lovely tasting authentic Italian pizza, generously topped. Friendly staff, parking outside. Very reasonable price for this quality, and compared to mainstream pizza chains. Will return regularly.
