Lovely clean restaurant but lunch menu was disappointing. The pulled pork was more gravy and soaked the chips. The sweet chilli chicken was okay.

Arrived at Adams kitchen with work colleagues, there were 10 of us. We had a Fantastic dinner at Adam's Kitchen. Staff were attentive and friendly. Dinner was incredible with great portion sizes and flavour. Waitress were working hard to make sure we were OK throughout our stay which was really nice. Thank you so much to all the staff for a lovely night. We will definitely be back!!

Had a table of 13 booked all had fish except 1 of us, so was a lot of fish, when it started to get brought out it looked lovely and a great size piece of fish.. When it came to me and my sister ours was totally different, it was actually frozen fish like you get in a supermarket... It was £15 so not very happy.. They should have gave us the choice to have that fish or something different from menu, they didn't even say anything.. I probably won't go back, and really disappointed with them, been there before and nothing was a problem with them...

Really enjoyed our meal at Adams. I only messaged their Facebook page the night before to make a booking. Response was within 30 mins. Busy when we arrived at 6.30pm. Great service and good quality food at a really reasonable price. We had 2 courses plus a shared dessert and 3 glasses of wine..... £65.... (lamb chops were superb, tender and so tasty) Will definitely be back

Whilst visiting Hawick we discovered our Hotel did not have an a la carte restaurant as advertised so we had no food option on Friday evening. We discovered Adams Kitchen by chance and were found a table for two immediately. Delicious food and warm welcome …well done Adams Kitchen !

We can highly recommend this restaurant. We were seated immediately, and the service was spot on. The food was delicious, my partner had the Parsnip and Apple soup to start, followed by crispy chicken and then sticky toffee pudding. I had the lasagne followed by the lemon roulade. The food was piping hot and presented beautifully.

While on our holiday in Scotland we called into hawick for a stopover. We found a restaurant called Adam's kitchen and wow what a place really accommodating . Has we had our dog we enquired if they accepted dogs , we were delighted that we were made more than welcome and a booking was accepted with our dog . It is always worth asking! The meal was outstanding and the service was second to none. Highly recommended give it a try you won't be disappointed

We came to Hawick for a short break. We were disappointed with the demise of the high street and almost missed this unassuming restaurant. However Adam’s Kitchen did not disappoint. We both chose from the specials board the prawns and duck starters were excellent as was the chicken stroganoff main. The friendly service and great price made this a highlight of our trip.

Great food, value, service and patrons. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Great place and highly recommend it.

I popped in here in the hope that I could get a meal and was delighted that they were able to accommodate me. The menu was good and I struggled to choose. I opted for lasagne which was delicious. I decided to push the boat out as it was my last night on the Borders Abbey Way and enjoyed a pudding. It was a tough decision between Lemon Roulade and Raspberry Pavlova. I opted for the roulade which was lovely. A great wee place, I’d happily visit again.

We ate at hawick golf club , which adams kitchen operate , all 6 of us throughly enjoyed our meals, can't wait to return for Sunday carvery

We enjoyed a lovely meal mid week, ate 3 courses when I really shouldn't have but couldn't resist. My husband remarked it was the best meal he had in a while. Rock n roll background music's not really my thing hence 4 stars for atmosphere. You can't please all of the people.......

Nice atmosphere at lunchtime. The waiter asked if everything was ok a few times and he was assured it was each time as the food was great. Nice rolls, lovely veg, and the lentil soup was fantastic. My girlfriends wrap was lovely too. The only gripe, a tiny one, the filling for the steak pue is put straight on the plate and the plate was cold, which rendered the filling luke warm but I just stacked chips onto it, which were piping hot and heated the filling. That aside, lovely food, cold beer, lovely staff, lovely experience. We will be back.

Wonderful find in Hawick during a quick one night stay in the area. Pleasantly surprised but both the food and service and would definitely return. Only negative was the wine selection which could definitely be improved (we ordered a Pinot Grigio and Prosecco but would suggest ordering a beer as a better option)

Wow! Found this place by sheer chance but what a find! Delicious food, great service by someone who actually listened to my requests(I need to stick to a pretty strict diet) & delivered exactly what I'd asked for. Thank you for a lovely lunch today. The empty dessert plate shows how much we enjoyed it!

Nice decor, good food, friendly staff

Got all dressed up and travelled nearly 20 miles for an evening meal. Low and behold the place was closed even though their website said they were now open. Even the signs on the door said they opened from 5.00 to 9.00pm on a Friday night, huge disappointment, there goes the wife's treat. So to Weatherspoon's at least the'll be open'

This was my first visit to Adams Kitchen. A wee get together with fellow Student Nurses for Xmas... The food was so good. Staff were so lovely and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing. I will definitely be back 🙂

We visited here while on holiday recently, and the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself is lovely. We just felt the food was lacking, which was disappointing based on the reviews. Nothing was awful by any means, we just felt it could have been better. Saying that, the atmosphere was excellent and it was a lovely way to finish off our holiday.

As Birthday treat for my Wife and I, our Son and Daughter in Law took as here for Dinner on Friday Night. Very welcoming atmosphere and Staff too. Not too large a place and although you are aware of other Diners you can talk to your group with no problem but can't hear the conversation in the room. While our drink order arrived we scanned the Menu. It was a difficult choice to make. I was told the "Fish and Chips "were outstanding, but dithered between Lamb Shank, Haggis Lasagne, Haddock and chips or indeed others. My choice came down to "if I took the Haddock" then, I could manage a starter wheras if it was the Lamb shank i probably could not (I saw one go past. ) Decided on a Field mushroom stuffed with Haggis, thin crispy chips and salad. Following with the Haddock in Batter with Chips and Salad. My son had the same but fish in Breadcrumbs, the two Ladies chose no Starter and took a Crumbed Pork Loin with fried potatoes, Broccolli and Cauliflower in cheese sauce and Oyster Mushrooms. ( the pork loin was enormous.) What can I say, it was all delicious and very tasty. There is a Lady there who could sell Refrigerators to Eskimos. Despite all I ate, she persuaded me to try the triple icecream with sauce!! The Ladies had "StickyToffee " pudding and Icecream Respectively. To finish off they all had coffee and I had in my Icecream , a Candle and a Bottle of Wine too,for my Birthday, from the Management. A lovely gesture. Would we return? Definitely just try and stop us.

We had a fantastic meal at Adams kitchen to finish off our holiday in Scotland. The food was amazing, so fresh with delicious flavours- some of the best lamb I’ve ever had. The service was also great. Nice atmosphere and the fairy lights in the decoration makes it a quaint and romantic place to eat. World recommend to others!

My first time in this venue, but certainly won’t be my last. Welcoming host, charming surroundings. Small menu but some nice choices. Meal arrived promptly and was delicious and plentiful. Most of the reviews are five star, and it’s well deserved.

Hate to say it as want to support independents but our visit was fairly average. Decor / staff nice. But the food didn't have the presentation on the pictures and was just ok pub food, just with a couple of extra £. Maybe we got a bad day.

Nice food, nice restaurant and nice service the place can get busy so best to book. Last orders for kitchen is 7pm which is a little early by most restaurant standards despite restaurant being open to 9pm

I had Moroccan Lamb, unfortunately it was like something out of a tin. The dessert however, sticky toffee pudding, was delicious. Staff were absent quite a lot, not a good atmosphere unfortunately.

My wife and I ate here on the first night of holiday and it was amazing. The food was so well prepared and full of flavour, but the sauces on each dish took the meal to the next level. And the service was spot on, not too intrusive but you where not waiting for ages to get there attention either. If you are in Hawick and looking for something to eat you will not be disappointed

Good lunch, great food, nice staff. The portion sizes were a little small for the price but this would not stop us returning which we will do for an evening meal. The atmosphere was very good, liked the decor in the restaurant too.

Just had an beautiful vegan meal in Adam's Kitchen Hawick. Highly recommend to Vegans, seperate vegan menu, definitely the best in the Scottish borders. The stuffed mushrooms (pictured) with vegan haggis and cheese is delicious. And staff fantastic, excellent customer service, thank you.

We loved this restaurant - we ate as a family of 5. We were made to feel very welcome, the service was fab and the food lovely, The decor is creative and very welcoming and the gin menu simply wonderful!

Fantastic food and service staff are so friendly And nothing is too much trouble steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The reviews here are utterly genuine unlike the night safe where the waiter writes all the reviews himself.
