I had the best time ever because it was so amazing and the food was brilliant! - Ada, age 6

Its ok. Nice venue. Friendly staff. They forgot a couple of our dishes that we had ordered. And could do with more menu choice an d bigget rations...4 garlic prawns for 6 quid!?

I don’t often write reviews, but last night I had the most excellent meal. The food was incredible. The staff were amazing they made my friends birthday very very special and I cannot wait to eat here again. I am a vegetarian and there was so many things to choose from All fresh all home-made, the feta dip was out of this world. Thank you so much for an amazing experience so warm and friendly cannot wait to come back If I could give you more than five, I would it was incredible!!!

Absolutely scrumptious meal, the pida was truly remarkable. Our server Dan Sanderson seriously went above and beyond providing us with an exceptional experience from the second we stepped foot in the door to the moment their Turkish meat met our mouths. The warm and inviting atmosphere, matched with an abundance of fresh Mediterranean flavours, left us comfortably speechless. We will be returning…

First visit after many years of visiting the island and highly recommend this restaurant. The food was fantastic, fresh and so tasty. The staff were attentive and so friendly. Will be back again in 2 weeks and will definitely be stopping off again.

Not one to leave reviews….. In fact, this is my first but felt the need to address. My partner and I arrived to be kindly received and guided to our table. The rest I am afraid was downhill from there out! Starters arrived in no time at all and were in fact okay. We had the sharing platter. The salad had seen better days with browning around the edges of the lettuce but still retained a slight crunch. Within two minute of finishing our table was cleared and mains had arrived. No chance for a break between! Within 40 minutes of arrival, our mains were already on our table. Everything felt extremely rushed even though we had a two hour time slot and we both felt very uncomfortable. We couldn’t help noticing the waiting staff keep looking at us each time they walked past. Which again, didn’t help the experience. I had the mixed meat plate which I found to be very dry and tasteless. I could honestly say that I have had a better tasting meat pattys from Iceland! The best thing once again on my plate was actually the salad and tzatziki. I ate half my meal at best to which my partner finished due to the fact that she had starved herself all day in preparation of a fine meal that never actually materialised. To end……… If the staff had asked at the end of the meal as to how our meal was, then they would have received the feedback i have written in this review. Needless to say we shall never return and find a decent establishment to dine in!

We ate at Ada on 22nd December and Gina was our waitress. Service was amazing and food was delicious would highly recommend !!

This restaurant features small Turkish dishes which is useful if you only have small appetites. The service and food was excellent.

Had a wonderful evening with my partner celebrating my 70th Birthday, Nothing was too much trouble during the visit, I even got a happy birthday sign put up.

We had an amazing meal. We had pretty much every single appetizer that they had, as we had a very large party and everything was amazing. The food the service we couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be back next time we are on the island.

Hubby booked this for my birthday as I love Med food. It really was as good as the reviews suggest it would be. We started with the Halloumi and Saganaki, then followed with a salmon pasta and a veggie pide. The pide was incredible! Wafer thin, crispy base and topped with a deliciously rich saksuka. Yum! We finished with Baklava and ice-cream. Everything was exploding with taste. Dan our server was a delight to meet; fun, interesting and chatty. Service from all staff was highly attentive and personal. The chef popped out to have a chat- he's not only a great cook but he's very quick witted and a good laugh. Thanks so much guys for making my birthday so memorable! Loved it!

Another fabulous tasty meal…. Starters of goats cheese & caramelised red onion flatbread for my husband and mussels for me. The sauce the mussels were in was to die for, so tasty I could have ate another portion for the main course. Main course was Mediterranean King Prawn for husband with loads of prawns with masses of flavour……and Penne al Samone for me. Again beautifully cooked Salmon so soft and tender it melted I’m my mouth, plus the pasta was just right, not overcooked. Hubby had a pudding and ate every single bit…. Staff and Chef are so friendly but don’t hover, ( I hate that ) We will be back If we could give 10 stars we would…. Highly recommend ….

I booked Ada to celebrate my Birthday at the last minute I had to add a guest to the booking. This wasn’t a problem at all the restaurant were very accommodating. Great decor and friendly staff, likewise food selection. Very tasty and well-presented when it arrived. Main problem was only 3 out of the 9 of us ordered starters - so obviously the rest had to wait until we'd finished. We were assured by the otherwise really pleasant waiter that the mains would follow on soon afterwards. Not exactly ... dish after dish seemed to arrive for the people on the table near us. Made me wonder whether they got some of ours too... As above - the food was broadly speaking well worth waiting for. However the delay with the mains was hardly an incentive to order a starter first, sadly.

Avoid the carbona. I know it’s a Mediterranean restaurant but I and the kids were just in the mood for Carbonara. It came out in record time (always a worry) but was definitely some pre cooked spaghetti with a few ladles full of single cream, some black pepper and rough cuts of bacon (not the pancetta the menu mentioned). Just disgusting and small portion which on this occasion was a good thing as a bowl of cream was not what we wanted

Although it was an early seating the place was really busy, that said we did not have to wait at any time for service. Only had starters and a main which both came without much of a wait. Both were tasty. Would recommend and visit again if in ryde.

Great authentic Mediterranean food, we didn't book and got a table mid week no problem. Great service from the staff, Very friendly. Would recommend the Mediterranean chicken dish or the ADA burger which I have had before, both very good.

Great service! The lamb was definitely good, however the yoghurt sauce is absolutely delicious. Cheap beer compared to many places, no draft though. Recommended.

Last minute walk in - the night before the Isle of Wight festival. Lovely friendly greeting. Busy, lovely restaurant. Good atmosphere and amazing food! Bruschetta and a hot mezze starter (can't remember the name!) but it was absolutely delicious. Both had the prawn pasta. Once again - totally delicious, highly recommended. The service was fantastic. All in all a lovely evening at a gem of a restaurant.

We visited Ada on a sunny Tuesday evening as a family of 4. We were in a rush and we had restricted dietary option that day(vegetarian). Although we did not have a reservation, we were greeted and seated straight away. The orders were taken quickly and the food arrived incredibly swiftly. We had a variety of vegetarian meze and mains. Food was fabulous and we gobbled it down rather quickly. We loved it. We live in Portsmouth and will be taking the hover down to eat here again.

As soon as we arrived on the Island we went straight for the food as we researched about the restaurant in advance, the food was outstanding the only thing which got all of us down was the customer service, could do a-bit better not extra ordinary, as we were a large group they just wanted us to rush with ordering food and also we had to chase them twice for water and more orders. Otherwise food had no let down at all

Food was fantastic, service was great to start. We asked if there was a kids menu. They said no but they could do a smaller portion of all the pasta options. So we ordered a kids pasta for each child. When the bill arrived, one pasta was full price so we queried it. Apparently one of the pasta options, despite coming as a kids portion can only be charged full price?! We were left scratching our heads. We'd received a smaller portion but had to pay full price. The server was apologetic but wouldn't budge on it, and wasn't able to offer an explanation....

My partner and I were looking for a filling lunch before our bus journey to Ventnor. We both love this style of food so we gave it a try. What a delicious meal! Service was quick and kind and the food was delicious. I can highly recommend the falafel and the calamari.
