Went there few times and every thing was madr perfect , but when orderin through uber eat this is what u get

I ordered yesterday three person platter I requested him not to compromise in quality and quantity I was really happy worth the money The restaurant fulfilled my expectations Thanku so much I will order more going ahead Taste and quantity is good Try this platter if u tummy to be filled more

I have taken a delivery yesterday March 17 from them and both my children were violently sick the whole night. My son is still vomitting chicken and rice 12 hours after his meal and both have diaorheea. Thank you Abo Ali for a fantastic meal! How do I know is their food? Last meal of the day for my children and I had none of it and I am absolutely fine.

I recently visited this restaurant for a quiet lunch and had a pleasant experience. The portion sizes are incredibly generous - my half baby chicken was more than enough food! While the chicken itself was good, I imagine some of the other menu items with more complex flavor profiles might be even better. To my surprise, they even offered a complimentary sweet treat at the end of the meal, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and attentive, especially considering it was a quieter time. Overall, Abo Ali is a great option for those looking for a relaxed atmosphere and ample portions of Lebanese cuisine. I'd be interested in returning to try some of their other offerings!

Food okay but turned up cold..when tried to call store was immediately diverted to voicemail several times! Poor service and no way to give feedback!!!

If you want to know what a real burger is , try abo Ali's half pounder halal beef burger with fresh salad, homemade mayonnaise and chili sauce with a side order of french friess thus, this is the place to come. I ordered baby chicken ,cooked to perfection over charcoals that fill the whole restaurant with the most beautiful smell ABO ALI is the best of host and never fails to give the best service and best quality food on city road. Cannot recommend highly enough. We travel just to get the taste of their Lebanese cuisine. Again , I was so excited to eat I forgot to take photos of the food.😂 Again, thank you ABO Ali!

Very bad experience with burnt fish and extremely chewy meat

We stopped by here to order a takeaway. We got the baby chicken and sides of rice and chips. Food was excellent - we enjoyed it so much that we forgot to take food pics before eating! Would love to return to dine here as there is a lovely ambience. Staff are very helpful and polite. We were kindly given free naans, sauces and baklawa with our meal. The overall impression would be the exceptional quality, value for money and amount of food for what we ordered.

I've been going here with the wife for many years including the restaurant before the fire. The food is always fresh and excellent. The smoothies are to die for. Highly recommended but be prepared to wait for your food sometimes as the takeaways are in high demand.

Their menu is mediocre but their prices are reasonable. However, I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant online but to rather dine in if you’re looking for cheaper alternatives. Anyways, I have placed an order with Abo Ali’s restaurant via Uber Eats and explicitly stated on the notes section: “Please do not forget any of the items” as I have encountered this issue before. To my surprise, half of my order was missing ONCE AGAIN!!! I then tried to reach out to the restaurant to express my frustration on their registered phone number at “029 2048 6701” only to be directed to the voicemail of “the number you are calling does not exist”. While I did get refunded through the UberEats app, I was extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience considering I left a note reminding them to get my order correctly this time.

Again,it was a fantastic food and service we received from ABO Ali and staff. Thank you so much. We will definitely see you soon

The takeaway food was disgusting The Nan Bread cold the the salad was soggy the THOMAS was not fresh no onions or chilies in or given with kebab. Just under £15 for a kebab and chips, disgusting the meat was cold. The sad this was outside show £11 and go instead to order and then come pay it’s just under £14.50. They price up, rude and ignorant, also abrupt with bad service. The hygiene standards I found out it’s only three but buy look at it now from inside i am very surprised it’s open. I wouldn’t even give it one rating for hygiene. I would not recommend this to anyone name and shame also share this post. please share this post and name and share this to family and friends!!!!

Ordered an Arabic swarma meal and a pot of garlic Mayo, the Mayo coke congealed, to the point it’s like putty, also inside the wrap the Mayo was like rubber! Absolutely will never order again! No contact number to ring and complain!!

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. The staffs were really outstanding as they were really communicative.

Went in for a collection last night absolutely fantastic unlike a normal greasy kebab this will leave you speechless everything is packed separate so you can add as little or as much sauce salad as you require. Every element of the kebab from them pita to the salad was amazing service was quality and the smell of the coals was a nice touch knew it was going to be good from the minute we arrived

This is one of my favourite restaurants of all time!! I drive around 30 miles every time I want to come here and it’s so worth it! I always get the lamb Kofta, it’s really good. I know the boneless chicken is amazing too. Every meal comes with a complimentary naan. The owner is such a nice person, he regularly gives us free baklava for dessert! Will forever recommend this place 10/10. There is a shisha place out the back as well if you fancy something different after food! Thank you x

29-9-23 1 hour wait via Uber Eats. The restaurant gave delivery driver wrong food. We spent £37 and received nothing. Driver tried to give us other food! Phone number says “you have dialled incorrect number” customer service poor. Lesson learned!

I have been eating at Abo Ali's for over 10 years, I always go back as they have the best BBQ and kebabs in South Wales together with great service and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. 10 out of 10 Everytime.

We have been a regular customer in this cafe restaurant for a good few years now. We never had a bad meal. The foods are cooked well and flavoursome with an excellent selection of fresh meat and fish. Their variety of fresh fruit shakes are to die for. The staff are very welcoming attentive,polite and couldn't do enough for you . The place is reasonably clean and has a friendly atmosphere. The owner always makes an effort to make the customers feel comfortable . We always have complimentary sweets after a meal. The prices are very affordable/ cheap for the portion and quality of the food . It is so good that we don't mind travelling 45minutes just to have a taste of their authentic Lebanese cuisine . Thank you ABO ALi and all the staff. See you again next week👌👌👌👌I'll be posting photos next time. I will also recommend their refreshing lime and mint shake 10/10

I don't understand those bad reviews about this restaurant/ cafe. I thought maybe it was in the height of pandemic when every businesses were struggling and people were also frustrated and impatient. People complain almost about everything 😁 Anyway, I will give my humble,honest opinion about ABO ALi. We have not had a bad meal at ABO ALI. During the pandemic,there were limited food display in the food counter but I thought that was down to COVID restrictions. The service and food quality remain the same , it was excellent even in this difficult times. We are one of their many regular customers. We go back to abo Ali because of their variety of quality foods to choose from and the prices are very affordable. They have different flavour fresh fruit shakes for a cheap price too.The owner and all the staff are very welcoming, polite and friendly. Overall it is a very good place to dine in and take away. Highly recommended.

Amazing chicken with wonderful staff and service

Ordered the platter for 3 people for me and my partner as we were really hungry and it was too much... huge portions, freshly cooked tasty meat with fresh made naan. Salad was also very nice and came with plenty of sauces. Less than £20 and its enough for 4 ! Also threw in some delicious cute little square deserts for free with from Abo Ali written ontop. Will definitely be here again !

I'm from Bristol and there are not great many middle eastern restaurants or even restaurants except Lona etc. I happened to be in Cardiff and was craving for some Middle Eastern food. Just Googled and found Abo Ali and reached there. Very tasty food, Very friendly staff. Now I want to try each and every dish in the menu

I’ve eaten here many times both in the restaurant and take out with friends and I love the food. My favourite the mixed grill despite being difficult to finish as I’m so full. They are good value for money, do great milkshakes and has a very relaxed atmosphere inside. Would definitely recommend

Been coming to ABO for years I recently visited with my family and had an outstanding experience with both their customer service and food. From the moment we walked in, my party and I were greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. They immediately made us feel welcome and took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. Throughout the meal, our waitress was attentive and responsive to our needs. She checked in on us regularly without being intrusive and was quick to fulfill any requests we had. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor really added to our overall dining experience. Now, onto the food. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The appetizers were incredibly flavorful and unique, and the entrees were cooked to perfection. Loved the platter, very well marinated and grilled excellent service, and generous amount of food, you get rice chips and bread with platter and meals, the reception was nice and the pakistani young guy (sorry forgot to ask his name) who served us was amazing very polite and kind. Abo Ali is a great choice weather you want to take out or dine in. All food has authentic flavour and is cooked to perfection. If you are dining make sure you try the Shisha in the back of the restaurant.

Visité a Abo Ali la semana pasada. Han pasado unos meses desde que estoy allí. Pedí shish de pollo como de costumbre. El pollo era bueno y el pan Naan, salsas era genial. El arroz aunque no era tan bueno. Cambiaron la receta desde la última vez que la probé y tenía un sabor extraño. Además, algunas verduras en la ensalada no tenían un sabor fresco.

Myself and a colleague ordered from Abo Ali yesterday at around 2:30pm. We saw there was going to be about an hours wait which was fine. However, after an hour and a half went by, my colleague tried to call multiple times and couldn’t get through whatsoever. Then we had a text saying that the food was on its way! After about 30-40 minutes my colleague tried to call again to see if the food was nearly here. She eventually managed to get through. They told us that the ‘Just Eat’ app sends the text messages so they actually leave 10 minutes after the text is sent. However, they said that the food should be with us any minute so we were fine to wait. Finally about 20 minutes went by and the food arrived, cold. I don’t expect to wait over two and a half hours to get food delivered. It was supposed to be our “lunch” but by the time we got it, it was time to leave work. I’m not usually one to complain but it came to a point where we thought we were never going to receive our food and that my money had just been taken. Wouldn’t really recommend.

Me and my friend usually come to abo Ali for food followed by shisha. We are always greeted by friendly staff and food is always cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.

I went into About Ali because I was curious to taste their cuisine. I left feeling full and satisfied. The chicken was so tender and the salad was tasty. Would highly recommend.

Vimos al chef cocinar cuando pasé un día. Pensé que debía aparecer para obtener un menú. Pedí una comida la misma noche. Estaba delicioso. Pedimos la fuente para dos, que era enorme. Disfrutamos tanto del menú para llevar que volvimos a sentarnos y disfrutar más de esta comida casera. Puede haber momentos en que los chefs están demasiado ocupados para esperarlo, pero mis experiencias han sido 100% positivas hasta el momento. El batido especial de la casa es algo que debes probar. A las 11 en punto todavía estábamos esperando, así que llamaron a la tienda para informarles que el conductor de la entrega acababa de salir. . . cuando apareció el conductor de entrega, le explicamos cuán infeliz debíamos haber esperado más de 2 horas. ! Así que pedí la entrega gratuita de 2. . . . el gerente lo rechazó y tomó nuestra comida bk! ! ¡Entonces no me dejó hablar por teléfono y me dijo que no hacía comida gratis! ! ¡Nunca quise la comida gratis! ! ¡Estaba feliz de pagar! ! ¡Nunca volveré a comer ni a ordenar de allí ya que lo encontré muy grosero! ! ! ¡No estoy feliz para nada! !

Pedimos a las 9: 30 y la comida no llegó hasta las 11: 45. Llamé al restaurante unas cuantas veces y me aseguré continuamente de que la comida estaba en camino. La comida llegó y no tenía ningún sabor fresco. El arroz estaba seco y la carne estaba quemada y dura. La bebida que pedí también estaba perdida. NUNCA ordenará desde aquí nuevamente. Servicio terrible y comida asquerosa! !

We ordered a takeaway delivery for lunch 2 days ago (Thursday 21/09/2017). A Chicken Shish Wrap (£4.50) and a Lamb Shish Wrap (£4.50), both with Salad, and Chilli sauce. And 2 cans of coke (£1.00 each). With the £1.50 Delivery fee the total was £12.50.

Street car parking. The food taste is very good. Staff are friendly. The soup was wonderful which is complimentary. Only cash payment but one could order via JustEat should you need to use your card for payment.

Después de 4 llamadas a Abo Ali (hablé con un hombre que apenas podía hablar en inglés), que me aseguraron que el hombre entrega fue en su camino - Este gritando, abusivo, incoherente tío llegó a mi puerta a las 10. 40:00h!! Él estaba gritando delante de mis hijos diciendo que él había intentado llamarme diez veces y no me había contestado! ! Que era una absoluta mentira. Toqué el restaurante para quejarme y que, básicamente, no podía preocuparse menos. Aparte de eso, la comida que pedí estaba soso, insípido y un desperdicio de dinero. Evitar EVITAR EVITAR

Qué lugar fabuloso. Im actual ly a través de la área de la calle de la ciudad y echar los alimentos como nuevo en la zona. Me encanta ser absolutamente este lugar. La comida es increíble sin duda visitar de nuevo. Tenía costillas de cordero arroz patatas fritas y aperitivos hommous/. El sabor de la carne era tan sabrosa. . es un concurrido restaurante, así que el único aspecto negativo sería que posiblemente emplear más personal de la planta, así tampoco estuvo entreteniendo y camareras.
