Abbots Tandoori in Three Rivers

Staying away on business at a local hotel I did a Google search and located this gem. From Leeds so I know a good curry house but best I have had, superb! The young owner and staff were so friendly and chatty and have big plans ahead. I wish them all well and I am sure the updated refurb will take this place to the next level… Will be back soon

I have been going to this restaurant for over 16 years. The menu changes every so often but the food served and service given is the very best.

This was one of the best Indian foods i’ve tried in Hertfordshire and the service was 10/10. Had a wonderful time after my bank holiday weekend spending it with my family and friends. A big thank you to Hamzah for looking after me and my family!

Had a delicious meal with a very welcoming waiter, Hamzah, who served us well. I am most definitely going to return, and I’ll make sure to bring more friends due to the very reasonable price.

Feel like you can always judge an Indian by how good their poppadoms and chutneys are, and the poppadoms and chutneys here are delicious. Also staff were very nice

Lovely dinner tonight with attentive service. Delicious popadoms, king prawn purees, chicken, and king prawn curries. Food was hot and good portions. Hamza was very polite and helpful to have our curries made off the menu. Our new go to!

We found this place doing google reviews on Indian restaurants close to our area. We have struggled since moving to find a good authentic Indian. Abbotts tandoori is an authentic restaurant serving freshly prepared food. This place did not disappoint! The starters were cooked fresh as was the curry. The bread was warm and the garlic naan had real flavour. The service was impeccable and friendly. There is no rushing they just want you to e joy the food and the environment. The staff make a real effort to accommodate any needs and will always ask questions to see how like your curry. Fab restaurant that we will continue to visit. Thank you!!

Really lovely food, great service from Hamzah. We were 8 people and ordered a large variety of items from the menu. Everything tasted great, the highlight was the delicious naan bread.

Hidden Gem in Watford and surrounding area Visited abbots tandoori late Friday evening and the service was superb and professional.Waiter knew what they doing and understood how customer need a break during courses. Warm welcome form the main man himself Emon.Papadum was fresh and all chutney was neat and delicious.Starters was unbeatable with fresh ingredients and very nice finishing with spring onion and special sauce.When it came down the main course we are surprised about this restaurant and how good it is.We had a Naga Chilli 🌶️ chicken and Handi Sagwala and it was fantastic and the flavour were poping and delicious.Last and final item on our Menue was delicious Fudge Slice with Ice Cream.THIS DESSERT WAS UNBELIEVABLE AND I EVEN TOOK ONE FOR TAKEAWAY. Thank you Emon and the rest of the team to abbots and specially Head Chef Kalam.

Abbots Tandoori is taking over Watford. Recently Visited Abbots Tandoori in abbots langley Watford.I can’t believe how good it was.We went on a Saturday and it was crazy busy there but the waiter welcomed us in perfectly with smiles on their faces.We sat down and soon the papadum came and they were lovely and fresh with a very good selection of chutney.Drinks were perfect and it was all glass bottles which made more tasty and fresh.Moving on to the starter it was delicious and mouthwatering with Chicken Tikka soft and fresh and samosas all hand made.The Service was excellent by Emon and the rest of the team.We had a good chat which many restaurants waiter and staff member don’t really do.The Mix grill was fantastic and all rich and naan was soft.Thank you abbots tandoori for a wonderful night and we shall see you soon. Big Thank you to Emon for taking care of us.

We are never disappointed with the food at this restaurant which exceeds expectations on every level. The service and attention to detail of the new management is far superior than before.

Yet another lovely evening meal

The food was awful!!! Ordered a vegetarian Biryani and an allo sag, it was very bland and tasted as if it came from a jar in ASDA / Tesco (no disrespect to the supermarkets). It is definitely not authentic mainly for the British taste buds for sure. It is the worse out of the three resturants in the Abbots Langley. You are better off driving a little further out of town and visit the Regency Club in Queensbury or Spice Rack in Stanmore. You will notice the difference in quality for the same price!

Really love the food, always taste the freshness of the herbs and spices always great food. The staff are excellent and very friendly and the atmosphere is always nice and relaxed. Highly recommend.
