Best kebab in town, their shish kebab and doner kebabs are always fresh and delicious. Thank you abbey staff.

Cash only is a no go. Dirty, dodgy, charging Cash Points around. Double no go. Smells nice although.

Usually lovely food .today i got chicken shish . No.maranade so very bland ..ended up in the dog. Need to do better ...

Got the Meat and Chips for £8.50. Very fatty meat, ate it outside the shop and within minutes the meat was cold and chewy. Could taste the fat. The fat to meat content is very high was alot better in the past Cash only!

I come here a few times a week. Very lovely and polite staff, always fresh and tasty food ontop of that they have made a sitting area oustide covered with flowers and it gives a restaurant vibe with same quality for cheaper price, would recommend all families to give try.

Food is absolutely disgusting found someone’s hair in my kebab! And they are very horrible they take ages to make it to be that bad and gave me food poisoning! DO NOT EAT IT

Not only great food but there is a covered eating waiting area with table and chairs, ash trays on the tables if u needed them keeping the street nice and clean without the cigarette butts littering the pavement out side, well done Abby kebab. The area has some great plants in planters that form the outside seating area, another great touch.

Very good Turkish kebab but could make the small one bit more bigger portion then it’ll be perfect.

Staff are brilliant , friendly atmosphere,food is high standard their kebabs and burgers are excellent nice size portions to reasonably priced

Never understand how this place gets really good reviews. I think they are living off a past reputation where they used to be one of the only takeaways open late. Chicken shish is always dry and over cooked, doner is standard and so is most other things here. The service can be hit and miss a lot of the time now. I would try Charcoal grill instead. Best place in Dagenham.

I know this place since 90s nothing much has changed, doner is made in premisses, makes a huge difference in taste, portions are big, everything seasoned right and best kebab miles around ...definitely recommended ....

Decided to go for the burger rather than a kebab.....wasn't disappointed.

Agree with some of the other posts. The price versus what the portions are now are totally not worth it. I use to visit this place 2/3 times a week it was that good and the price, quality and quantity were all nothing short of amazing. Now £8.50 for a small doner and the portions won’t even fill up a small child let alone an adult. Might aswell label it as an overpriced kids meal. Fair enough to raise the prices in this climate but atlesst maintain the portions but how can you justify raising the prices by £2 extra but then reduce your portion sizes to similar to a kids meal? Their large isn’t really a large as all they do is give you a bigger pitta bread but the same amount of meat. Ridiculous!! This place was once my favourite, bit sad now I would not be visiting this place as much.

Food is well cooked, the chips are sometimes a little under cooked. Best place for a kebab.

2 small kebabs, small chips and chips in pitta cost £24!! My god that is theft! Handed over my 20 thinking that would be more than enough, then made me go get more money out while refusing to hand the 20 back and withholding the food. Been going here for years, sadly never again.

Great shish and great burgers However while their wraps taste great they are not constructed well at all so everything just falls apart which is a shame. The chicken kebab is great too!

Just bought Large donar kebab and chips £11,more like a very small one with the amount of meat.. Not cooked very well, pink meat No colour.. Chips over cooked.. Not what it used to be, probably changed hands... Won't go back..

Very nice food but very expensive

I had a large chicken shish that was not bad at all. It cost £9.50 it had plenty of chicken but could have done with more salad and a larger pitta bread. Over all I was just glad it was open at 11:30 pm.

They write one price but sudenly charge extra pound for what, they cant explain... AVOID!

One of the best Kebabs on this side of town. Lovely food. Well seasoned and tha chilli sauce is 💯👌🏾 the real deal 🔥 Always happy and friendly customer services. Very generous helpings and they actually remember you (or pretend to at least 😁 “my friend”) Only criticism is the prices are getting a bit too expensive…so slow it down guys. However still Highly Recommended A*

Nice kebab , but wasn’t happy that when I asked if they could do me 1 pounds worth of chips to go with my mixed kebab costing 9.00 pound - I was told it’s 2 pound .. honestly Why not just do half a bag of chips for 1 pound 🤷‍♂️ .. chips are nice with kebab

Great food every time we go here and we did live near abbey kebab we move 147 miles away but still have family near Abbey kebab so when we are down there we all ways get our kebabs when we here

How can I give this shop any less than 5 stars. It's the BEST KEBAB SHOP EVER! They have changed the chilli sauce, but it's still amazing! The salad is gorgeous, the lamb and chicken doners are so niiiiiiice. I have never been disappointed. The chicken burgers and beef burgers are super tasty. I've been coming to Abbey Kebaby since I was in year 9! And I'm almost 40. Same people serving too! Super friendly staff with amazing memories

Before was nice. But I bay today and I was surprised. Change after 2 months I was visiting abbey kebabs. I order chicken shish and get in same box meat chicken and salad. It’s was large . Before was separated meat and salad an know is not much salad. Sorry but you’re cut half off salad of LRG . Sorry but before was very big I can eat together with my wife one meal know half meal. What’s happening gays? Be out of COVID you are saving on meal ? Star looking for another kebab shop . If not change your meniu.

After nearly four years of living nearby, I decided to give this place a try after seeing the reviews on here, and am a regular now (don't know why I didn't review sooner) - this place is amazing, I cannot recommend enough. The food is something else, I am very picky about doner as I know low quality meat is very bad, I won't just get it from anywhere - however at the Abbey this is top quality - akin to what you would get in a swish Turkish restaurant. The staff are brilliant too, so friendly and you can see the hard work they put in 100% of the time. It is strongly advised to get their phone number, and a menu, and ring up before for collection - the shop is very small and is also very busy. You will not be disappointed - apart from the quality, the portion sizes are huge! Keep up the good work and no doubt be ordering again soon : )

The best kebab shop by far. Now I've tried alot of different kebabs shops over the yrs. And my this has to be my favourite out of them all. Food is amazing and full of flavours. Salad is especially nice and fresh.

Nice food but annoying to order from and the selections are wired how puts mixed meat in a bag and not a container.

This the most amazing kebab place ever. Even beats the restaurants in Turkey. The portions are generous and the salad is divine. We live in Suffolk and every time we visit family in dagenham abbey kebab is always our First destination. Totally recommended this take away shop the best ever.

The shop is tiny but very popular often people queuing outside! Prices are expensive compared to others but their portion sizes are good. One issue is they don’t serve fat chips like normal fish and chips.

I was told of this place by a colleague at work, we used it last night (not for the first time) and I can only hope that they open another on the South side of the Thames, these really are the very best Kebabs I have ever had, there's no good day/bad day it's always been absolutely brilliant, very highly recommended
