Mid week evening meal. The Korai was fantastic as was the naan. Beautiful spicing and flavoursome. Really good value too.

I was full of a cold when I visited this restaurant, but after a few fork fulls of chicken jalfrazie that was soon sorted. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

Ordered through deliveroo. Fast delivery. Purchased samosa, idli, masala dosa, Mumbai chicken, and plain rice. Recommend Mumbai chicken (balanced seasoning) and samosa (good filling). Also enjoyed accompaniments: sambhar (full of flavour), coconut chutney and samosa chutney. Found rice portion (very small box) and idli size (2x mini pieces) to be very stingy, given price. Dosa was not crispy but that’s probably because it was in a box; will have to go into restaurant to try. Edit: been into restaurant… dosa was not nice and the sambhar very salty. We also tried lamb biryani but the rice tasted both stale and reheated. Recommend chicken sizzler. Chicken was moist and rice freshly made. There is on-site parking for 6x cars.

My friend and I recently dined at Aamchi Mumbai restaurant in Manchester for dinner, and the experience was truly delightful. We ordered two biryanis and Naan breads, one with cheese and one plain and also a tantalizingly rich raita topped with pomegranate seeds. The cheese paratha paired excellently with the flavorful gravy, and the portion sizes were generous. This unique take on biryani surpassed our expectations and is a must-try for those seeking an authentic biryani experience in the UK. Highly recommended!

My Daughter likes Korma however it’s not on the menu and they were able to accommodate the a very happy Girl. The food was delicious.

I’ve been coming here a couple of times a month for the last 6 months and thought it was time to write a review. In simple terms, it’s smashing! The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, the beer cold and the ambiance first class. If you’re in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, look no further!

This is the best Indian restaurant in Manchester and the surrounding areas - excluding the rough and ready 'dhabas' (cafes) in Rusholme or Longsight - they arent for everyone! But if you want a good overall Indian food experience then you cant do much better than here.

Authentic true Indian restaurant (not Bangladeshi or Pakistani) could not fault the food or the service… will certainly return. Attention to detail in the presentation of both courses was a pleasant surprise.. highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff, clean and modern. Food was really tasty - especially the aloo gobi! Average prices. Some vegan options available but some come under vegan and are not - so double check. Would recommend.

Great taste, especially the dessert- no words to define my feelings. We had ordered Dahi Puri which was not upto the mark. Except this, we had ordered Paneer sizzler, Wada Pav and Pav Bhaji. Excellent taste 👌 Paneer were very soft, I really liked it. Then we had ordered Dessert Platter, which had Carrott Halwa, Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun and Kulfi. Mind blowing dessert. We had repeated Kulfis and Rasmalai. The only bad thing,Not Exactly but what I felt is, about Aamchi Mumbai is it's closing time ⏲️ at 10pm. A mouth watering dish served by this place. Do book your table before you go, as it tends to get busier. Expect to have smaller portions for their starters and a decent portion for the mains. All in all a great experience.

This place is awesome in terms of service and ambience. We had an extremely cooperative host named Rahul. The drinks tasted fantastic although the starters and main course lacked quantity. But they made up for it and gave us a complimentary dessert. Props to the team and their efforts which made us leave this restaurant with a smile 😀.

Visited this restaurant on Saturday 2nd Sept. If I could leave a 0star for the food I would do. Extortionate priced too :( £5 for a large glass of lemonade/ coke! Everything from the starters to the deserts were terrible 😞. The sizzling brownies came on iron platters . Smoking because they were burnt to a crisp! If anyone had touched them within a few minutes they’d have ended up in A and E !! We wished we’d taken a video . The staff came to the table every few minutes to ask if we wanted more drinks regardless of our glasses being half full!! This was the worst meal we’ve ever had . Although the staff were pleasant the service was slow and our grandson who is 5 was backwards and forwards asking when things were going to arrive etc . That was hilarious and even that didn’t prompt the service to be any faster ! The bill was over £250 for 5 adults . 3 didn’t have deserts and 1 no starter . Please don’t waste your time or money on this restaurant.

What an unfortunate restaurant experience! The food was of such poor quality and tasted absolutely horrendous. To make matters worse, every single one of us, all six of us, had to endure the disappointment of poorly tasting and badly presented dishes. Although I wanted to voice my dissatisfaction at the time, I couldn't bear to upset my daughter who had chosen this place for her birthday celebration. It's such a pity since I had to spend a total of 3 hours driving there and back, enduring a 6-hour ordeal in total. Needless to say, it truly left a bitter aftertaste in our mouths :(

Food probably a 3/10, couldn't give it 4/10 so 1.5 out of 5 really. Have to round it down to 1/5. Food taste = not good. Many issues with many peoples' meals across all courses. Couldn't recommend

Best restaurant in Cheadle ~ rock solid

Very good service, great selection of street food options. Pani puri was tasty as was the chilli chicken. I really enjoyed the lamb in the railway lamb also had a nice kick to it.

As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel at home and shown to our table. The staff were really friendly and checked in to make sure everything was okay. I had the Tawa Chicken with pilau rice and the peshwari naan. I would recommend sharing the rice and naan with someone as you get too much for one person! The meal was delicious and it was topped off with a Sizzling Chocolate Brownie. You definitely leave full and in need of a lie down. I'll be coming again.

Everything here is spot on. The food is superb. High quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The advice from waiting staff was bang on and the flexibility they showed couldn’t be bettered. Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. The room was superbly fitted out and maintained to a very high quality. The atmosphere was great. It’s expensive, but well worth it. Highly recommended. If you’re in the area this is not to be missed.

Lovely food, really fragrant. There was a mix of meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans, all were very happy with the food. Will go back very soon. Oh, and the portions are massive.

Wow... the Aamchi Mumbai Chicken was so tasty, the garlic naan was great too. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and we will be back. Fresh and hot food. My only slight gripe is that we were asked a lot while eating if everything was OK, and did we need drinks. Its nice to have attentive staff but it was a bit much from all of them! Bit overall we really enjoyed the meal and we were not rushed at all

Chicken Lollipop was good however the overall food quality and quantity was not that good. The ambience was nice but the food was expensive so not worth it. Food quality, quantity and pricing need improving for sure.

Visited Aamchi Mumbai tonight for the first time and was not disappointed! THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I have ever had! Full of flavour with the perfect amount of spice!! The staff are absolutely lovely too, couldn’t do more for you! Our eyes are too big for our belly’s and we ordered a few different dishes, we couldn’t finish it all, the staff was more than happy to pack the left overs up for us to take home and enjoy the next day!! Highly recommended if you love your Indian food as we do!! Thank you again Aamchi Mumbai, see you very soon!!

Found this whilst staying over with work and have to say it is without doubt some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Great friendly service and good prices, can't recommend it enough. Will be back the next time I am in the area. If you are near to Cheadle go and visit you won't be disappointed

Went for a family meal on a Saturday night. My family like a mild curry. Unfortunately the Butter chicken, the tikka masala and what we thought was a korma equivalent (the Aamchi Mumbai chicken) were all really spicy and they didn’t really touch them. That meant more for me, but at £15 a meal before rice and naan bread things were working out very expensively. The service was okay. One of the waiters was a little curt and our empty glasses weren’t removed to the point the table was totally cluttered. All in all, a nice venue, I thought the food was okay but not worth the price tag - fortunately in this case I didn’t pay.

Always excellent food, have been here many times. But on our most recent visit, our keema naan served in the same bowl as a vegetarian naan. Also, some of the floor staff are hopeless. One person taking our drink order, then another member of staff asking the same, two minutes later,then again to order food, staff need some training.

First time here for us and what a surprise. The food is fresh and delicious, excellent service with a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend anyone to try here.

What an amazing experience this was, one cold and rainy night in January! I called them 30 minutes before turning up, enquiring if I should book a table. The lovely lady said they weren’t too busy tonight so just turn up. I did. It was truly fantastic. The outside of the place wasn’t my favourite, but as soon as I got in, I was transformed with amazing colourful deco and beautiful hospitality. I was shocked we were the only customers in that night. I hope this business goes from strength to strength and continues to have loyal customers, I will certainly be back. The food was tasty, and beautifully presented. So clean also! Thanks so much for making the evening so special. Keep doing what you do. X

One of the nicest meals I’ve had in a while. Great menu choices, with a variety of options. I had the lamb chops and karahi chicken, which were cooked perfectly and good portion sizes. All presented nicely in a traditional style. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven’t already.

First time visiting the restaurant and I was very impressed by the food and service. The chicken karahi was probably the best I’ve had, definitely recommend it! Everything was nicely presented and served in good time. Staff were very attentive with drinks and helpful with menu suggestions. Definitely a new favourite spot for me, great that they do deliveries too!

I went today with my mom and 2 work sistas, we ordered sev puri , masala dosa and paneer skewers for starters. These were amazing. And had railway lamb curry, chicken sagwala, aamchi chicken together with pilau rice and lemon rice. As well as garlic naan. Everything was spot on and delicious. Very very tasty. It’s not your box standard Indian take away food.., will definitely be going again. I also had the rose mojito mocktails which was very refreshing. Honestly, it’s one of the best proper Indian restaurant.

Seven of our familly went for a meal last night, everyone enjoyed the food. Plenty of it in fact we took a doggy bag home as couldn't eat it all, only the papadoms were a bit small but the other starters were quite large. The food was the best we have had for a while and will be going back. The service was good and the girls were very helpful and made special mild meals for our twelve year old and explained what was in it and how spicy it would be. Will definitly be going back.

Wow!! Best restaurant in Cheshire! The food is absolutely delicious. This was our second visit to the restaurant within a week and the service is outstanding. Krish, Mina and Rahul are so friendly and polite. Krish the owner is so welcoming. Chilly Chicken is highly recommended as this was a fantastic starter. Highly recommend to everyone for business, social and birthdays. Beautiful place to definitely visit in Cheadle Village.
