The pizza was very bad and not tasty at all. Materials without any care were thrown on top.

Just two of us decided to have a quick meal before heading out to town. We had bruschetta and salad to start with followed by fresh made pasta and simply pizza. All was freshly made full of flavours plus service was seamless, thank you to Kamila making our kick off night special. Will be back!

Hands down, we been served by Renata she was very professional and helpful and we have some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The calamari and arancini was especially memorable. Must try!

Went here for a date night with my boyfriend without a booking, we got a table for two straight away. The food was amazing & had so much flavour. The portions sizes were great, we got the bruschetta duo, polpette, cinghiale & gorgonzol pizza, n’duja piccante pizza, tiramisu & tortino miele & cannella. The pizzas were very filling that we ended up taking the rest home with us. The desserts were amazing especially the tortino miele & canella. The service was good & the waitresses were super friendly. We will be coming back to try the pasta!

We went here 3 weeks ago and it was lovely, thats why we went back today. The starters was really but that was where it ended, my partner sent back he lasagna because it tasted like it had just come out of a microwave I hade a pizza it was all soggy and not cooked properly to top it all they charged us for food we never received. Overall it was a waste of £132.00 for a Sunday dinner we won’t be returning there again. Good luck to anybody that does try this place.

Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff. Very tasty starters, mains, and dessert, all nicely presented. Been here several times and will come again.

I randomly walked in to this beautiful coffee and wine bar 🍷 and my immediate feeling was like COMFORTABLE and RELAXING.I had a pistachio cream filled mini crossiant and Camila offered me a delicious latte. Since I am from newyork I could tell the selection of their all Italian wine is so devine and delicious. Family get together Friday night. Food and service were very good. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Only downside was we were informed at 9.30 that the restaurant would be closing at 10 which seemed early on a Friday night. We would have liked to have stayed a little longer for drinks but sadly were not given the opportunity.

Very disappointed with the food. Only thing which we thought was made in house was the pizza which was very thick with some of the dough undercooked. Meatballs which were in my opinion from Tesco were a tenner - that’s taking the mick big time. Flat lager as well.

Food a bit too greasy for my liking. Nice menu and pleasant service. Pizza felt quite authentic but too much fat. Too much background music.

A 1st visit to A Mano for lunch with my daughter. The express lunch is excellent value and a good selection to choose from. I I had the insalata a mano.and she had a pizza with chicken and mushrooms. Salad was just OK, but no butter for bread had to ask, but the pizza was very good. Staff are nice and asked if things were OK. A very nice young man took our order. But please don't ask if you're finished while someone is still eating! Wait till we've both finished. And if you want to visit, take a torch as the loos are very dark : ) . Fix the lights!

Ordered takeaway via Deliveroo, all items delivered were cold. Had to reheat everything. A Mano not interested when I rung. Told me to take it up with deliveroo who were less than helpful.

Edit: the owner has replied ‘We have recognised that this review has been placed with malicious intentions to harm the business and has been flagged as inappropriate.’ Because they want to censor what they feel is a ‘bad review’. This was a genuine experience I had at this restaurant. I also emailed them about my experience in the restaurant before and got no response. Very poor. Really disappointed. Would give 0 stars if I could. Came here with two girlfriends from work tonight for an 8pm table on a Saturday. Found the restaurant maybe 2/3 full which seemed quiet compared to other times I have been. The waitress was very polite and helpful which was nice, and was good with my friends nut allergy. However it went downhill from there. One of my friends found a hair in her pizza, but wasn’t personally that offended by it and didn’t complain (I was quite horrified however). By 9 ish a woman who appeared to be the manager asked us if we wanted anything else (after mains, soft drinks, dessert and a tea) we said no we are ok thank you, and she pushed us to take the bill. We said ok and it was promptly split between the 3 of us (£90 total). About 915 we were one of 3 tables left seated and were just about to say goodbye when one of the staff burst out the bathroom and exclaimed ‘it happened again!!’ While holding an empty bottle of vodka. She took it straight to the manger I mentioned above and immediately they all started to glare at us. We thought perhaps they wanted us to leave as it was 920 but there were still another table left seated with full glasses of drink so we thought it was ok for us to have 5 mins to say goodbye (and I was still finishing my cup of tea!) and they are open until 11 apparently. Suddenly the manager comes over and barks at us ‘you have finished your meal and paid your bill. You have no reason to be here. Leave the premises’. We were absolutely shocked to be spoken to like this and gathered our things and left. I dropped my friend home and drove back past the restaurant 15/20 mins later to see the other table still seated in the restaurant and then I realised that they must have asked us to leave believing that we had drank the vodka in the bathroom (if they check the cctv they will see that only one of us popped into the loo for about a minute - without her handbag I might add). I feel absolutely offended and I think the way we were treated was appalling. I usually come to amano once or twice a month with various friends and family, and get takeaway. Seriously reconsider if you’re thinking of coming here. I won’t be returning!

Great atmosphere, lovely food and friendly service

We came for a birthday meal and both the service and the food was excellent. My favourite was the seafood pasta...the fish was delicious and fresh and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Well done A Mano, and thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed a special birthday lunch with my friends. The food and coffee were fantastic as were the bubbles! Staff were attentive and accommodating, thanks to Hannah and Caitlyn. Finally The General Manager came with limoncello at the end, was a surprised and lovely touch to finish our lunch. Very nice A Mano, we dont need Michelin star restaurant where you can have local restaurant with Michelin star service. Lovely Pizza and Pasta; freshly made. Love the deli bit and is full of good items. The service is great and the staff is friendly. The music ambiance is great. Definitely will recommend going back to A Mano for a meal soon.

Please refuse service charge here, Wait staff don’t get it and if you take off service charge and leave cash tips instead, the manager takes it to make up for the voided service charge. Maya the manager is horribly rude and I’ve been waited by teary waitresses before. I should’ve written a review sooner but never got around doing it. What happens behind closed doors in this restaurant is worrying. Also before you pay your bill, check prices and make sure they match to what is on the menu, the wine prices differ on the bill to what is written on the menu. If you're considering going here, I strongly advise you not to. The waitresses only get 20% discount which is practically nothing and they are also told to double as cleaners! I've seen the manager make the poor girls get on their knees to scrub the legs of the tables and clean windows! I strongly advise all of you to read the negative reviews about this place as they all hold more weight than the positive ones. Before supporting a restaurant due to its mediocre food make sure the staff are being supported - which is the bare minimum might I add.

I couldn’t be happier to find best pizza and taste just like in Italy. The staff are so friendly too and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Plus I can find Italian product!! I can’t imagine after 2 years lockdown and found these little gems I am SUPER HAPPY. We will be back A Mano

Went to A Mano on Friday night and the food was amazing! The pizza they make it’s quiet simply the best . We had mussels to share, holly chicken and truffle and mushroom tortellini pasta . The food was divine. Very nice and polite service . Would recommend to anyone .

I was a regular at this place and really rated it. They have gone downhill hugely. We placed an order via Deliveroo and the wrong order was sent. The only option was for us to get a refund or order again but go and collect it ourselves. They told me it wasn’t their fault and that they were losing money if they were to send it out again. The conversations on the phone in background demonstrated complete incompetence as they had taken on so many orders they couldn’t figure out what was what. They kept me on hold for 7 minutes and couldn’t offer a solution. Appalling service. I won’t be returning

I ordered a takeaway and the food came so fresh and hot, ready to eat. I had called the restaurant prior to make sure they were able to cater for my special dietary requirements. They were fantastic and courteous over the phone. Nothing was an issue at all. I would give them 6 stars if I could! Thank you!

I’m all about supporting independent, small restaurants so we decided to try this place but the food had NO FLAVOUR whatsoever. We had to eat 3,4 bites looking for any kind of taste but it just tasted like cardboard. And the seafood paccheri…. They used BUTTER for the base. Wrong on so many levels. Just follow this simple recipe: put minced garlic and chilli into cold EV olive oil, fry for a minute then when the fragrance comes out you dump the seafood and the cherry tomatoes. Pour over dry 100cc white wine, put a lid, when the clams open up dump the paccheri and cook for a minute. Sprinkle some parsley on top. Oh and do put this thing called “salt” that is known to draw flavour. You are welcome. But to be fair, our waitress was very nice, also the deli part has a range of Italian goods which is great. I will come back for shopping only from now on.

This place became so expensive. I just paid almost 10 pounds for a 500gr bag of cornmeal and a pack of savoiardi buscuits!

After a long day at tennis, stopped by and had some of the best service and topped off with some of the best pizza in London! Couldn't recommended anymore, stop reading and go there now!

The pasta here was fresh and excellent - I absolutely suggest the casarecce with the burrata it was brilliant. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly and fast. Would absolutely come again.

An excellent place for food and drink. They do take aways as well. And have a great delicatessen as well now. Highly recommend.

We used to go to A-Mano on a regular basis, in average our bill would be £40.00 - £55.00 It used to be better than at the current time. The prices went significantly higher, additionally service charges added into your bill as well. Our last visit with two adults and one child ended with £86.00

A Mano a little gem in Orpington, their pizza is definitely a winning point and calamari. Friendly staff, warm and cozy atmosphere. And.... the delicatessen is brilliant. Full of Italian selection from fresh food to wines. I would definitely recommend A Mano for any occasions. I learnt you can book entire restaurant for a private events which is fantastic. A Mano you are the best restaurant in Orpington for sure :)

We visited A-Mano by chance when shopping in Orpington and were delighted with the friendliness of all the staff who could not have been more obliging as my daughter was in a wheelchair and everything was done to make us all feel welcome and comfortable in seating us and at every stage during the meal. We ordered a range of different menu options and it was all excellent in both taste and presentation and we will certainly be visiting again and recommend to friends and family.

The Best Restaurant in Orpington. Authentic Italian food and friendly staff

DO NOT USE DELIVEROO FOR THIS RESTAURANT. Over an hour wait for a stone cold soggy pizza that cost 17 quid. When I called Amano they said not their issue call Deliveroo.

The food was nice and the service was quick. I ordered an item but there was a slight misunderstanding on what the item was I ordered and the waitress did speak in a patronising tone. Although she apologised after she didn’t seem to realise the error. Overall good food.

Best pizza we’ve found yet in Orpington and great value versus equivalent pizzaeria. Highly recommend. We get takeaway from here all the time and are never disappointed. We’ve visited the restaurant and shop many times and love the selection and authenticity of the shop. The service is with a smile, conversational and quick.

Lovely little Italian shop / cafe / restaurant on Orpington High Street. Not a lot of parking nearby but you can find a spot if you're lucky (or persistent). We found a great table outside on the sunny pavement, and enjoyed a glass of refreshing Menabrea lager along with some fritto misto. We also picked up some cannoli to bring home. The service was really pleasant and efficient too. The only negative - the place is pricey and I felt like I'd paid too much for what we ate. Took just a little of the shine off.

Ok Breakfast Cappuccino was ok too The only thing was The Baked beans Tasted very sour which to mean that They were property off i Did tell the Waiter he said he will tell the chef There is a Trick that the kitchens do specially during a long long long down Of putting the little bit of vinegar to refresh the Beans but most people overdo it with the Vinegar So If your beansTaste sour Do not eat them But as the waiter did not give me or offer me any fresh ones Because they didn't have Any fresh ones Also be warned there is a surcharge 10% at this restaurant Which means for me I will not be coming back I like to pay Extra if I receive extra I don't want to be Charged extra for somebody to show me a table and bring me a plate But it's up to you Gave 2 Stars 1 for coffee the second one For the rest of breakfast

I found out about A Mano Coffe Bar & Kitchen last year when I had the most magical and amazing chicken and bacon salad ever. I visited A Mano for a second time yesterday and to my surprise the quality of the salad has gone down. The 'mixed' leaves were actually just lettuce the aioli was just mayo, the bacon was way way too salty (and I am a person who loves salt). I understand if the place was busy and the chef was in a rush but it was pretty dead with only a handful of cistomers. The staff.. well the staff are lovely, however I did not like that I was asked half way through my salad if I was done. It made me feel pressured. I wish the salad tasted as good as it looks.

Had a lovely family meal here last weekend. COVID precautions were all being followed by staff and patrons. Food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. An all together very enjoyable experience!

Fantastic little deli. For a few seconds, we feel like we are in Italy. Pizzas were so tasty, authentic. The smell of the coffee is fabulous. Highly recommend. The staff is lovely. As we can't travel due to Covid, it feels like we were in South of Italy/Sicily.

Absolutely Amazing. Giuseppe the manager and the sicilian waiter, have been perfect. We felt like at home. The pizzas were perfect as the dessert and beers. We will be back soon.
