This place is great for a special evening out. It’s expensive but the food and service are excellent. We met the chef and felt well looked after. Excellent duck and steak mains. A treat to remember

Absolutely loved our meal last night at 28 Darling Street. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with so much detail and thought in it. We really enjoyed the interaction with the waiters, who were knowledgeable about the food, very attentive and genuinely interested in making the meal an enjoyable experience. 5 stars and highly recommended!

Four of us had dinner here. We arrived earlier than our friends but that wasn’t a problem and we were given seats and offered drinks while our table was cleaned.The food was superb - I had the scallops followed by monkfish and it was all cooked to perfection and tasting wonderful.The serving staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to answer our questions. We all enjoyed our choices.The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried and we had a lovely evening.Highly recommended for people who appreciate good quality, a range of flavours and lovely presented dishes.

Ate here last night.the whole meal was gorgeous.we have no complaints about any part of the meal.i had soup and my husband had goats cheese for starters.we were given lemon sorbet which was really nice.we both had the beef which was so tasty and tender.i had creme brulee and my husband had the raspberry and chocolate.all in all a great experience with attentive staff and attractive surroundings.

We were on a self catering holiday in Co Fermanagh in July 2020 and after reading the great reviews of 28 Darling Street I emailed regarding the Sunday collection service they provided at that time. Zara was so helpful. We collected and enjoyed the most wonderful 3 course meal - food was so tasty, every course so enjoyable a real highlight of our trip. We will definitely eat in the restaurant when we are next in Enniskillen. Thank you Zara and Glen - your restaurant is really top class.

What a place! From the outside it looks tiny but when you get inside the restaurant is open and elegantly designed. The front of house team were exceptional and didn’t let their face masks hinder their service in anyway. Plenty of nice hand sanitiser, no gloopy gluey one here! (I use boatyard too! ) and the little packet of alcohol hand wipes at the table was a nice touch. The food was everything I expected and so much more. Exquisitely cooked, perfectly presented and that smoked duck breast on the confit duck leg dish...yum! It was definitely the hidden star of the show, I could have eaten a whole plate of it! To top of the meal a lovely anniversary surprise, and it was a surprise as I hadn’t told the restaurant it was our anniversary, sneaky Zara! It’s definitely a place to add to your ‘where to eat out bucket list for Northern Ireland’ and we will definitely be back when we get another night without the kids! Congratulations Glen & Zara

We had a wonderful meal here. The staff were extremely accommodating of our large group at short notice. The food was absolutely delicious and the whole experience was perfect.

Was going to write a detailed review, but why bother? Only be repeating what others have said. 1st post lockdown restaurant dinner, and as good as the best we've had anywhere in the past year, including one of Belfast's Michelin stars.

Fantastic delicious food that hits the mark! The staff were so friendly, highly attentive but not in your face. Food presentation amazing, food so delicious with lots of taste explosions in your mouth from micro herbs. This is seriously good food from a chef who understands his ingredients.

Fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Food is exceptional! Zara and her staff made us feel so welcome and we look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Wow just wow... I never ever write reviews and I had to create a tripadviser account to write this.. From start to finish flawless..myself and my husband visited 28 darling on Saturday 11th July with our our 2 friends from enniskillen who had booked it as a surprise we were staying in enniskillen on our friends boat.. I have eaten in numerous fine dining restaurants around Ireland and the uk and this was up there with the best.. for a start I had the ravioli it was served with leeks and the lightest Airiest sauce I have ever had and the flavour wow.. my husband had the risotto I usually hate ordering risotto because it is usually a bland stodgy!!mess not here not in 28 darling street It was the creamiest most flavoursome you could ask for! My friends had the soup and scallop both delicious also.. for main I had the monkfish with little bits and bobs Asparagus and I think courgette.. which were all again cooked to perfection my hubby had the steak obviously!!! Again cooked to perfection.. i tasted my friends duck leg with the smoked duck and fondants again amazing and the veg was just THE BEST I want to no how the genius makes such a boring ingredient taste so good.. we had the panna cotta and chocolate tart for dessert and the panna cotta was out off this world.. I most certainly will be back to this fabulous restaurant the next time I am in enniskillen just please take off the mask. Thank you for a memorable night.

Four of us visited 28 Darling St on Friday night and had a wonderful time. The dinner menu had options for everyone. The Scallops and Monkfish were superb! Zara and Glen continue to provide an excellent experience aided by their wonderful team.

Four of us had dinner in this restaurant on Saturday last March 14th. The food was excellent and the service equally as good. They adhered to the social distancing requirements but were still extremely friendly and efficient. Certainly worth a visit.

Went for Sunday lunch with my wife. The whole experience was excellent. Warm professional welcome and the food itself was extremely good. Starter of Chestnut and Mushroom soup which rivals any soup I’ve tasted followed by excellent venison with an exquisite deep glossy sauce and a lovely rhubarb frangipane tart. Wines were excellent as was coffee. Sunday lunch of this quality for £25 is remarkable. The staff were exceedingly good, friendly and knowledgeable.

Wow wow wow what a pleasure. The variety of flavours and textures working together in harmony was the best I’ve had anywhere. The service is top class too.

Heard some good reports about 28, decided to visit for a birthday lunch. Being very honest it was a bit curates eggish.... Good in parts.Service was very good and attentive. Would have preferred linen napkins, as they add to the dining experience. Starters of red mullet and chicken ravioli were excellent.Mains of duckling and hake excellent too. Unfortunately my steak was well done instead of medium, not acceptable in a serious restaurant. Followed up by the mousse which lacked a firmer texture and the popcorn topping merely detracted.All in all just about very good.

Enjoyed the tasting menu last Friday. Busy restaurant, great atmosphere. Lovely warm welcome with friendly and well informed service. Zara offered super guidance on the choice of wine, the food was truly delicious, well presented and creative. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and will look forward to returning soon.

A wonderful night out. Recommended to us, I highly recommend to you all looking for a fine night eating experience. Gluten free was not a problem for myself. Very accommodating in the alterations in the menu and loved every part of the tasting menu. The decor and ambiance is lovely and the chandelier is massive. Nice touch. The staff are a credit to the establishment and went that extra mile to help us have a great night. Worth the 2 hour drive to be here, staying overnight locally. So if you can come and experience the food and atmosphere. Make the journey.

We had a lovely meal tonight for my sons 30th birthday. The food is delicious and we are always made very welcome by Zara and her staff. Complements to Glen for preparing lovely food and we have never had a bad meal on the few times we have visited

Nicely laid out restaurant, with spectacular chandeliers. Several very cosy corner tables, and pleasant, but not over-loud background music.Very affable staff and impeccable service.Beautifully presented food, as the accompanying photographs demonstrate, the salmon risotto and goats' cheese pannacotta, plus trout and striploin steak mains being as tasty as they look.The meringues was as light as a feather, accompanied by raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.There was a very decent wine list, about ten red and ten whites, plus a rosé. These were reasonably, if not keenly priced.Excellent for a special occasion.

Our first time to visit 28 Darling Street and it certainly will not be our last. We were welcomed and shown to our table by such friendly staff . The choice and quality of food was exquisite from start to finish. Really looking forward to our next visit which has to be the best in enniskillen.

Absolutely gorgeous lFood. £25 for a 3 course lunch, couldn't fault anything.Staff were 1st class and made our lunch very enjoyable. Seafood sausage, thenTrout followed by the best Christmas pudding I have ever had. Thank you to Zara and her team for a lovely afternoon. Would recommend you all give this restaurant your support.

We had a good enough meal here but wouldn’t exactly say it was exceptional for so called fine dining. The strip steaks were somewhat basic and thin and we didn’t think they warranted the price. The wine list chardonnay was also quite costly, in comparison to other restaurants we’ve visited.

Lovely restaurant. Beautifully presented, quality food. Nice staff. Fair pricing. Worth a visit. This is a modern gourmet restaurant with a noted chef. Not pub grub. However the atmosphere is not stuffy which we like. Probably a lovely place for a romantic meal or special occasion but for us, a nice classy meal so would suit anyone. We will be back and do recommend to all.

There is something very comfortable about walking into 28darling street as you know that you will get a warm and friendly welcome as soon as you walk through the door.The front of house staff are spot on every time and are alert and attentive. It’s always good to be recognised and acknowledged and to be asked “ how are you keeping.”The food as always is cooked and presented with love and attention to detail and tastes excellent. Every flavour on the plate is there for taste and not just for the sake of putting a blob or smear of purée to impress.A really good restaurant is long overdue in Enniskillen and 28darling Street is it.

There have been some very good restaurants that have come & gone over the years, from Belmore Street to Darling Street (Uno,for one). Thankfully, some remain & No.28 has joined them. First impressions - I loved the dark brown furnishings that give the place a warm feeling, yet modern. The staff were excellent from the start & made for an enjoyable evening. A nice touch was the complementary bowl of shaved dried root vegetables - very addictive & a change from other "nibbles". Food presentation & taste was top-notch. This is as good as any trendy city restaurant. The menu is understandably fairly limited in choice. Quite expensive, but would be much more so in a city.

This was my second visit to this amazing restaurant. If i lived in Enniskillen I would probably be there every week. Last night we all had the tasting menu. It was outstanding. This restaurant could rival some of the Michelin starred restaurants in Edinburgh, where I am from. I have a number of allergies and when I eat out I always feel like the poor relation as I end up with plain fish or steak - I was able to enjoy the whole tasting menu with a few subtle substitutions. The way the chef and wait staff dealt with it, no one would have known I was having anything different. If you enjoy good food and wine this restaurant is the place for you. It is a real highlight of the Northern Ireland food scene. I cannot recommend this restaurant more.

Just returned from another fabulous meal at 28 Darling Street. Glen, Zara and the team know how to look after their customers.Sunday Lunch for the 7 of our family was perfect. A lovely atmosphere and wonderful food at a great price.If you haven't been you have to try it.

We visited as a couple on a busy Friday night. We were placed in an intimate booth facing a glass window. The place was full as we walked in but when we were seated it felt very personal. We already had an idea that we wanted the tasting menu which was sold to us as the best of Chef Glen’s produce. The food was incredible from start to finish. In house made bread with squash cooked 3 ways to venison from less than 20 miles away. Mushrooms and herbs foraged locally by the team. We had a Lebanese wine which was recommended and was fantastic. This place is a destination that is worth traveling far to experience. Cementing Fermanagh firmly on the food map. Well done!

I was here during the summer for the tasting menu and it was exceptional. The courses were the perfect mix to showcase all the local produce used and just the right size. The presentation was excellent, with meticulous attention to detail. Service superb! I want to try the new Sunday lunch menu soon, I've heard great things!

Exceptional talent, wonderful food, exciting presentation,great team. The Maestro himself belies his youthful enthusiasm with masses of serious experience. He has come into his own and truly deserves his place. His accolades are, not surprisingly stacking up..I think in time he will surpass his own heroes with his style and talent and that would be no mean feat. We came to 28 Darling St during a weekend stay in Enniskillen. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was exceptional. We both had duck to start then pork belly, hake and chocolate tart. We could not fault any of it !

Visited 28 Darling Street with friends on Saturday and the meal was delicious, the setting was very elegant yet comfortable and the service was second to none. Their attention to detail was incredible - even the cheese was at the perfect temperature, bringing out the individual flavours. A must visit for anybody that enjoys good food and at a very reasonable cost. Comparable to Chapter One in Dublin but even better. A Michelin star is certainly in the offing for Glen Wheeler and the restaurant!!Thank you very much for a great night!

A bold and impressive interior decorated in black and white. Service good but did have to call a few times to get drinks replinished. Food superb quality but didn't seem like much on the large plates. It proved to be satisfing with the mash and baby potatoes and very rich and tasty. More expensive than most but quality does cost.

Fantastic ambience great staff and service and the tasting menu was Michelin star class. A restaurant not to miss if in Ireland north or south!

After reading the great reviews on this restaurant and as we were spending a few days in Enniskillen we decided to see for ourselves. It certainly did not disappoint! Upon entering, we were wowed by the interior design! We were then greeted warmly by both Laura our waitress for the evening and Zara who we then learned to be Glens wife. Our whole experience we found to be faultless. The food was amazing and attention to detail first class! Perfect timing between courses & the fact that Laura was so knowledgeable about everything on the menu and her pleasant,approachable yet professional manner helped make this for us one our best ever dining experiences! Glen & Zara you really have a wee Gem of a place in 28 Darling Street!We very much hope to visit again in the future!B&M Hillsborough.

i booked with the proviso that we had only from 5.30 to 7.15 as we had a meeting. the service was slick and charming, the staff included chefs wife and a newly qualified dentist, the menu was small so reassured us that the food would be fresh cooked,the little touches of beautiful homemade fine crisps a tiny little home made mini loaf, and a delicious water ice between courses, we chose duck pettifer, which was dainty and full of flavour for my husband , followed by hake , properly cooked and beautifully presented, my baked beetroot with goats cheese and tiny squares of beetroot jelly was very moreish i was introduced to strip loin which was a good size sirloin with all the inedible parts removed, also flavoursome and well dressed, sugared carrots parsnip and i think turnip and soft creamed potato and 2 scrumptious panacottas and a glass of wine each and we were leaving at 7.15 on the dot a truly delightful experience, which we will be repeating again as soon as we can.

Excellent service, atmosphere and above all food. Worthy of Michelin star. Every detail is perfect, down to the warmed brandy glass and heated milk for coffee.

Ate Sunday lunch here with a friend and we were both blown away. This is fine dining at its best and great value for money. The staff were attentive and knew how to do their job, which is a bonus in itself. The food was delicious. The choice is not extensive, but there is something for everyone. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough and will be back.

Myself and my wife went for a late anniversary meal. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely. They made a fuss of our anniversary which was really appreciated. Will be back! (Note, the outside is deceptive, it is a bit of a surprise when you walk in through a quaint shop front into a plush, spacious and contemporary restaurant space. No photo of interior, so I didn’t spoil it!)

We went to 28 Darling St as part of the Enniskillen Taste Experience. The food we were served was beautiful and we will definitely go back to experience a full meal. What made the visit even better was that Glen Wheeler, the owner and chef spent ages with us telling us all about his career...he’s worked in some amazing places. It was a real privilege to talk to such a talented and passionate chef. Looking forward to our next visit.

It's rare in this area to find such a high end restaurant that can give this level of service on all counts to a large group (12) The food was excellent, the Duck Ragu to die for! A steak so good it's in my top 3 best ever from anywhere in the world. It must be the Fermanagh grass! A really enjoyable evening and must do if you are visiting and if you're lucky enough to be local make it your new go to dining experience.

A wonderful experience - the food was superb. I had steak, perfectly medium rare followed by possibly the most delicious Panna Cotta I've ever tasted. Lovely atmosphere and the service was second to none. Zara was exceptional. I've booked to go again in a couple of weeks for my dad's birthday.

A real find..superb food..We ate here on one night of our weekend & so good we had Sunday lunch today..starter of salt baked beetroot with goats cheese was fab..such a talented chef & obviously a great team..Front of house staff excellent...better than nearby 4 & 5 star hotel restaurants ...we will return for sure...

Dined here recently having heard very good reports and average reports. Went with a group and we had the pre-theatre/early bird menu which is exceptionally good value. I have dined in Nevin Maguire’s several times and was interested in comparing the meals. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty but didn’t exactly have the wow factor. However considering what we paid I would recommend a visit.I will be back!

I was here last night to celebrate a birthday with 3 friends. The food was absolutely stunning and the service was so good. We started with gins, they had a big selection and very reasonably priced. There as a goid wine list which has a nice range of prices, break the bank. I had the beetroot to start and then the chicken, amazing. Some of the others has the risotto starter and they loved it. The decor is great, the good is really top quality and the service excellent, I would thoroughly recommend.

Situated amongst the unchanged décor of the old Jazzy's cocktail bar, the unimaginative name belies the superb food inside.We four had the tasting menu. There were several perfectly presented little dishes, followed by a main course. All were delightful, and described to us individually by the young, enthusiastic staff.You don't need salt or pepper - everything is seasoned to perfection. How often does that happen?The tasting menu is £55. That may seem expensive, but we'd have happily paid more.This place has gone from a standing start to the best dining in Fermanagh.A fine achievement, and one of the best meals I've ever had!

I have been here multiple times for a la carte, lunch and tasting. Everything is prepared with great care and thoughtfulness resulting in delicious food that we come back for regularly. Zara and the team are so friendly and accommodating to us every time.It is by far the best place in Enniskillen to eat.

We went there recently. Very comfortable seating. Good choices on the a la carte and "taster menu". Exquisite starter and beautifully cooked main. Service was first class even though restaurant was busy.

We were staying in the area for a number of night and found this gem for a date night treat. The food was superb and service delightful. This is definitely in our top 5 of the many restaurants we have eaten in. Can recommend the baked beetroot starter and the wine list too. Anther good reason to come back to Fermanagh.

We were in Enniskillen and decided to go for lunch, we had heard about the new restaurant and new they had worked in Nevin’s. I went in and asked about lunch and they were fully booked, but we recognised each other and it was just 1pm and if we come in now they could do it. So we went for it and they brought us to a table and gave us the menu which had a great selection, we ordered the lunch and really enjoyed the meal and great service provided and we definitely return and book well in advance to enjoy the ambiance for a longer time.

Myself and my husband visited for Sunday lunch ... this was our 2nd visit and both times we have been delighted both with the food and the staff. Sunday lunch is amazing value at £25 for 3 course ... Glen the chef was trained at NevanMaguire’s and you can see the influence. Menu is short just 3 choices for each course but I could have chosen every one . Looking forward to seeing Glen on The Great British Menu ... I would recommend you book as it’s busy at weekends and for Sunday lunch

Myself and my husband had a fab lunch yesterday Sunday... I had the cod for starter and my husband had the pork belly and was delicious but the ribeye was just melt in your mouth. The staff were very welcoming and polite, We would highly recommend the restaurant

have been for the sunday lunch on a number of occasions. This menu is on until 4 or 5.00 on sunday. Great food, well served and great service. It was good to get the glass of wine with the food and not towards the end of the course! All staff are 5 star, particular mention to Zara. A very relaxing, Unrushed afternoon experience. Booking advisable.

With all the other 5* reviews here, I feel sorry but I have to be honest about my visit and award a 4! Perhaps I made a wrong choice (for me) for main course and dessert, but I'll know the next time to choose something else... The first course was lovely, however I wasn't impressed how the Cod was cooked and suggested that they tell folks how they cook it when it's being ordered, and thus give punters a choice of well done or underdone. IMO Cod needs to be well cooked. The response was that then folks would never try it how we like to cook it.... I mean ....sorry? The dessert parfait was very solid and some additional cutlery would have been needed (other than a rather large spoon) -as I just saved it from shooting off the plate onto the floor! I've no doubt however, since the service was impeccable, that a fork would have been with me pronto if I had asked! I'll choose a different dessert next time too.

I visited 28 darling street for Sunday lunch with my family yesterday and I LOVED my experience. Especially gracious to Zara the front of house who manages to make everyone feel immediately welcome as she effortlessly juggles bookings and table allocations, advising on the menu and engaging with customers - creating a happy and relaxed individual experience in what was a full restaurant. Although busy the restaurant had a lovely relaxing ambience. I chose the Plaice to start which was melt in your mouth, Pork belly main and peanut butter parfait all cooked and presented to perfection. My family all chose various dishes from the menu and everything was so delicious! The waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and helped us choose a great wine, so good we opted for a second bottle! I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favour and get to 28 darling street. Well done to all involved !!

Visited this beautiful restaurant for a 3 course Sunday lunch which was outstanding. The quality of the produce, the exquisite flavours, superb presentation and exceptional service made our fine dining experience truly fantastic all at an incredible price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just back from this terrific restaurant after a beautifully presented and delicious lunch . My wife enjoyed the fish and I enjoyed the venison.We both ordered from the lunch menu at £25 for three courses good value in my opinion.This is a class restaurant with friendly and efficient service (thanks Sophie) believe me this is the place to treat yourself.

28 Darling street did not Dissapointed. I recently visited for Sunday lunch with my family. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Very interesting menu, I could not recommend anything in particular scince it was all just yummy. I can't wait to go back. I'm not easily impressed but am happily recommending this restaurant. We are very lucky to have this quality of food in Enniskillen. All those involved should be very proud of what they have achieved. I want to go back and try the tasting menu. Had a lovely evening meal, delicious food ... langoustine risotto to start was beautiful and just a lovely portionThe Pork was fab with lovely flavours and accompaniments on plate ... the creamed potato is a MUSTFinished with a very nice Peanut parfait ... all in all a wonderful experience

Wow, Wow, Wow what an experience at 28 Darling Street, My friend and I were fortunate enough to book a meal here last Thursday night. On arrival i was greeted by one of the owners Zara who warmly greeted us she made us feel so welcome just the perfect host. What can I say about the place,the black granite on the floor and ceiling and tables and in contrast the beautiful chandeliers my friend just kept saying glamorous and glamorous is the best way to explain this restaurant. We choose to have the tasting menu and I would rate the food 10 out of 10. The food and service were outstanding. The food was delicious the attention to detail on every coarse was obvious, the range of food on the tasting menu was excellent, the service before during and after the meal was fantastic, stunning food and the added touch of having Glen the chef and co-owner serve some of the course and explain what we were about to eat was a lovey idea, the price of the tasting menu was very reasonable a major plus. I would highly recommend a visit here, I can not wait to go back! Thank you to all involved.

This was our first visit and found it very warm and inviting. We ate from the a la carte menu, which had ample choice. The seafood risotto starter was really tasty. The staff were excellent and explained every thing.Enniskillen really needed a restaurant of this standard.

Two of us had the tasting menu and a third chose from the a la carte. Explained that there would be a wait for main on a la carte due to the number of courses on tasting menu. This in fact turned out to be no problem as the ambience of the place just made the time fly by. Fantastic food with brilliant flavours and probably the tastiest mash we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

Admittedly our host knows this restaurant and had even checked with the kitchen that morning, as well as arranging for the wine to be decanted. So we had a friendly and efficient reception and delightful food, starting with delicious John Dory, light and with several complementary flavours and progressing through the tasting menu to near-perfect lamb. The service, thanks to Zara and Sophie, was efficient with a perfect light touch and the food was terrific. Really well balanced food an equally balanced staff!

This was our second visit to 28 Darling Street and we were not disappointed. We had made the decision to try the tasting menu this time and it was wonderful. The dishes were perfect in every way and with Glen himself explaining each of the courses it was a great way to meet him and see his enthusiasm for his craft.Zara and the other staff were excellent and their attention to detail was faultless. In addition to the variety and quality of food served, the gin menu is the best that I have seen for a restaurant of this size and again the knowledge about each of the bottles was second to none.We made the trip especially to try the tasting menu and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Enniskillen.

I booked 28 Darling Street for a family birthday meal. I messaged ahead to see if they could cater for two of our diners who were coeliac and dairy free and vegan. Up in arrival we were treated like royalty. The place is immaculate, polished glasses and cutlery and clean stunning decor. Both members of my family who had special dietary requirements had lots of choice from the menu. They really took the time and effort to cater for us. The food was delicious, each ingedient explained, and the little touches like the free bread rolls, sorbet; they even made up a free vegan dessert for us, made us feel like we were in a fine dining restaurant in a big city and not in Enniskillen. Considering the food and the service it is very reasonably priced. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from 28 Darling Street. Keep up the amazing work guys.

went to 28 darling street last nite with my hubby and it was a great nite all round. Glenn is a top class chef...The food was absolutely beautiful, we had the tasting menu and it was pure delicious, the sauces were amazing and we had red Bordeaux wine which was also lovely. The staff were lovely, zara is so friendly and professional and Sophie was also very helpful....it was so good we ended up staying there until our taxi came! Definately give this place a visit, you wont be disappointed

If this experience starts with a booking go for it , I just booked a table with Zara , never have I wanted to go somewhere so much on the experience so far. Could she be more helpful, more accomadating not in my book. This is something special and the rest is after all only food . What an ambassador for 28 Darling Street .

Enjoyed a lovely meal in group of 12 and the atmosphere, food, service and decor was 2nd to none. lovely bread to start and each of the courses was delicious ... the Pork Belly was melt in your mouth fab!!!!

Excellent food and service provided in this well organised and managed restaurant by friendly and accommodating staff. Zara, Glen and staff are doing a wonderful job.

Really excellent grub, bit of a wait between courses but all of the courses were superb. Highly recommend the tasting menu, start to finish was 3 or so hours but if your not in a rush it’s a great way to spend an evening. Excellent staff and superb service.

Excellent meal staff and wine can't fault anything about our visit apart from not staying longer will revisit when we are back

We went for a special anniversary meal and were not disappointed. Everything was very good from the very friendly demeanour of the staff to the excellent quality of the food through all the courses of the tasting menu. My only slight issue with the whole experience was that it might be regarded as slightly on the expensive side at £55 each for a tasting menu. However, we really enjoyed our night there and intend to return fairly soon..

From the moment we entered until the moment we left, every second was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.Zara is terrific as front of house manager and her team are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble to them.We are familiar with Glen's style of cooking, having first met him in MacNean House and the standard of menu and food that he is producing is testament to his wealth of experience gained in Blacklion.We ate from the a la carte menu and found the choice and standard of food to be excellent, even the little extras (roasted vegetable crisps to nibble on over drinks, the wonderful warm breads and fabulous palate cleanser) were wonderful. There is a well priced and varied wine list and the gin menu, especially for a new restaurant, is outstanding.We have booked to return and will be selecting the "tasting menu" next time.The whole evening was marvellous and we wish Glen and Zara well for this venture as they truly deserve to succeed. Excellent fine dining with a great atmosphere and all at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to our next visit.

Clearly the background and the pedigree of the Chef Patron shows itself through food that pays no attention to trends or fashion The food here is a combination of first class ingredients and his craft and skill. The baked beetroot and goats cheese starter is a triumph of how to combine the two flavours and present it beautifully. The chicken (not something I would normally order ) was perfectly cooked and seasoned and accompanied with small portions of perfectly balanced little buttons of additional flavours and not blobs of coloured stuff just to enhance the presentation .The Noma Choclate Brownie was simply sensational. The service was very efficient and very friendly allowing for a bit of banter to enhance our lunchtime experience.28 Darling Street is a serous player on the Northern Ireland restaurant scene and head and shoulders above what else is available in the area.

I first visited 28 Darling St with my daughter where we had lunch. I suppose I'm fussy about where I eat, & when I know the chef is also the proprietor it gives me the reassurance that the food will be high standard, & our lunch was a very enjoyable experience. I visited again recently with my husband & we had a evening meal, & enjoyed the total experience. A great resturant provides pleasant, comfortable surroundings, courteous & helpful staff, & great food, & both of us had great food & a very enjoyable evening & look forward to returning again. Thank you ALL soooooo much.
