2 Beeches Avenue in Sutton

We have been to 2 Beeches Avenue several times and have always had a great experience. Whether it has been for the wonderful choice of freshly made food or just a coffee (or glass of wine), we have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and in the sunshine, the tables outside are a wonderful place to sit.

Have visited 2 Beeches Avenue twice this month - once for a Seafood Evening and the other for lunch. It's an amazing place that I can't recommend highly enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much for them - and the food is delicious. Thank you so much Hana, Gianni and staff. I will definitely be frequenting this 'gem of a place' again. In fact I'm already booked in for the Steak Evening on 25th September!

Went last night to the restaurant for their 'fish' evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine recommendation complemented it beautifully. The apple strudel was to die for.The staff at 2 Beeches Avenue are really friendly and attentive, with an 'eager to please' attitude.I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Am going back on the 25th September for their 'steak' evening and I can’t wait.Thank you Hana, Gianni and staff.

I came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend, and will definitely return. Sitting outside in the sunshine, enjoying a glass of wine and delicious vegetarian food felt like we were on holiday. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I’m delighted to have this great place within easy walking distance of my home.

We had cappuccino in the morning and had a good look at all the tempting Italian food on offer from the deli. Lunch or brunch menu looks good also

My wife & I visited around 1pm for a spot of brunch. We both had the eggs Benedict & it was superb, if a little on the expensive side. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive without being over the top.They have some fabulous authentic Italian produce, we trialled the Parma ham, Sicilian sausage and rosemary & sea salt focaccia, all of which were amazing.

Been to this place a few times now and it's a good venue for some middle class lunching ;)If you are meeting the girls for lunch, this is the place!The venue and the decor is very continental and more up market than you'll expect from a cafe in the suburbs of Carshalton (which is good). You are unlikely to come here looking for a cheap bite to eat so the dishes as you would expect reflect the clientele it's aimed towards. The lunch time menu was a tad basic with your usual club sandwiches, eggs benedict, salads etc. I guess the intention was to keep it simple rather than offer something to complement/sample their cheese and meat counter selection. They sell a Italian deli spread of products and is great if you are a bit of a foodie and can appreciate the ingredients.I was with 2 children and the service was good and the staff friendly, no kids menu, so don't expect your usually chicken bites and chips! It's still fine for children (buggies are requested to be left away from the dining room) and the regular menu can accommodate the less fussier of young eaters, in modifying their menu a bit. This place is definitely geared towards those who lunch and seek a bit more Carshal-phistication.

Apart from the wonderful cheeses and cooked meats on sale from the delicatessen, this place offers a wonderful atmosphere and excellent food and wine to be enjoyed over lunch.. I had A fantastic pasta dish and glass of wine with a friend last week sitting outside in the sunshine.The staff are fantastic and it offers excellent value for money.

Decided to visit for a quick lunch. Lovely atmosphere, charming staff, good selection of deli / bistro food.We just had bruschetta (brie and italian ham on some kind of fancy bread) plus a glass of wine. Prices seemed good to me given the quality of the food and the atmosphere. I will return for a more substantial lunch another day.

2 Beeches Avenue is a great place to visit if you are looking for a great selection of wines, lovely food and wonderful service. Whether it is a section of their meat and cheese, something from the specials menu or just a glass of something cold in the sunshine it is definitely worth a visit.

Some friends and I also went to the special steak evening reviewed here. We can only concur with the review, many times over. It was magnificent. If steak always tasted like this, I would have it so much more! The usual lovely atmosphere and superb service. What a great treat.

Wonderful steak evening at 2BA choice of Prime Scottish steaks by weight. The best quality meat. It was cooked to perfection so juicy and succulent. It was washed don with a superb Argentinian Malbec I was so pleaded as it was an early birthday present for my carnivore husband. Hanns with the help of Gianni have created a special haven here next door to my favourite Italian restaurant.

Stopped in for a snack. But Sandwiches cost £9.00 !? Higher prices than London but on a busy road in suburbia. I did not stay. My family tried this cafe once and actually ate their food. They were SO LET DOWN by the rude nd slow service and what was a mediocre sandwich at insane price.. AVOID this and try to bakery next door. Way better service, value, and atmosphere.

Just had one of the best evenings ever in my long residency of Carshalton Beeches. Not only are we privileged to have Vinoteca Italiana in the Beeches, but its 'sister' establishment (2 Beeches Avenue) means that we now have an excellent coffee/lunch/delicatessen stop. Yesterday evening at number 2 (or Hana's place as it is known in this house!) was just superb. Great wine and the most wonderful tapas, all prepared and served with huge care in the friendliest environment. What a privilege! Thank you so much to all at number 2. You are just the best!

Have had two visits to this lovely little gem in Carshalton Beeches ... first with hubs for coffee & cannoli yum & then for late breakfast with a friend. The lovely staff member allowed me to go off piste with a salami & cheese ciabatta ... fresh soft bread, lots of soft garlicky salami (she explained the different types of salami & cheeses for us) and rich creamy fontina cheese ... absolutely delicious. The coffee was smoky and earthy ... maybe not to everyones taste but I enjoyed it in a latte. Brought a few little bits n bobs to take home too ... looking forward to my next visit.
