13th Note in Glasgow City

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening, large vegan menu all generous portions. Great cocktail list with virgin versions available. I’ll definitely be back for a visit

This venue is a well known vegan/veggie bar. i went one evening and was disappointed by the old décor and cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms and stairs down to bathrooms as the floors were very sticky and bathroom stalls were unusable. i would not recommend this place until the bathrooms are redecorated and the décor is updated

We walked in not knowing this restaurant was vegan. We’ve been in Britain for three weeks and have been seriously vegetable deprived, but today our craving for heathy vegetables was satisfied with delicious, amazing food and lots of greens. The Korean crispy cauliflower was divine! We also shared the Lebanese bowl and a crispy polenta. Everything was so delicious and we have leftovers to have for breakfast tomorrow. We’re so happy.

I love this bar, but I think they need to make more effort with the drinks that they serve. The cocktails and cans of beer we had weren’t cold enough every time, limp herbs in them and the girl with red hair that served us had a miserable looking expression. Bar area was very wet each time so couldn’t lean against it. The staff didn’t seem bothered to clean or dry it. Bit of a shame really.

Delightful service and really delicious food. My husband and I visited a few weeks ago and got the Lebanese bowl, crispy Korean cauliflower, and a chicken burger. The portions were MASSIVE - usually we have big appetites, but we couldn't finish the dishes even though we showed up starving. Excellent value for money, in addition to being super tasty. The service was excellent, as well. So pleased to have found this gem!

The food is incredibly tasty. Prices are reasonable and the service and stuff are really kind. Totally recomendable for both veggies and not!

Great pint of GUINNESS available as regular and extra cold. Had CRISPY KOREAN CAULIFLOWER coated with gochujang, GYROS and LEBANESE BOWL, absolutely delicious. Cool staff and also dog friendly.

It’s difficult to find a good Bloody Mary in Scotland, but look no further. Super tasty and quick to the table. Highly recommend along with some of their fabulous food. Can’t wait to come back and they are super dog friendly too.

Loved this place, very friendly staff, food was excellent, we visited twice during our stay. The burgers were super tasty, chips amazing and the corn was fantastic. Could not fault anything we had, including the wine. And as an added bonus dogs are welcome, so we met some cute dogs too 😉.

Went to the 13th note for pre-gig drinks and the service was very slow. When I asked at the bar "are you not serving at this part of the bar" I got verbal abuse by the so called two female bar staff and I mean verbal abuse. Absolutely appalling way to talk to a customer.

I popped in for a quick bite to eat whilst out shopping. The service was amazing and the food was equally as fantastic. Next time I'm in Glasgow I will definitely be going again. Vegan food at its best.

We ate here twice on our short trip to Glasgow. First off, we had a quick snack after a visit to Barras market on a Sunday lunchtime. We had the aubergine polpette and incredible Korean cauliflower. The vibe at lunchtime was really chilled out and mellow. We booked for dinner the following evening (and thank goodness we did because it was rammed on a Monday night!). We ate the gyros and the Gado Gado salad. Both delicious and well spiced. We didn't have time for starters or pudding and probably wouldn't have had room for them either! The staff here are really friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant is welcoming to dogs!

I travel regularly to Glasgow for work and we invariably end up in The 13th Note of a Friday evening for a pint. Great atmosphere, terrific music, and excellent and eminently affordable food and drink.

We had high hopes for this place as it is a truly animal-loving, vegan cafe/restaurant, with the bonus of live music in the evenings. We placed our order and settled in to wait for our food, After fifteen minutes we were served with our humous and pitta bread starter. Forty minutes later the main course had not arrived and my partner went to the bar to ask if they'd forgotten about us... and they had! Another twenty minutes later our food arrived, To say that the food was not worth the wait does not describe our disappointment well enough. For starters we had humous and pitta bread for a starter - the pitta bread was overcooked and rock hard, and the humous oversalted. When the main courses came we fared no better. Just to describe mine, the potato wedges were burnt, the salad was limp and was dressed with something that looked like tomato sauce, and the burger tasted like cement, with a liberal spread of something that looked like cement on top. Not a good culinary experience!

We have drank here for a long time believing it to be an anti fascist, left leaning venue. Certainly most of the patrons are of that mindset. There are stickers and posters in the venue proclaiming this. The decision to go fully vegan recently was a great thing.

Glasgow está lleno de fabulosos restaurantes veganos, pero me temo que no volveré a este. Tal vez sea mejor verificar si tienen a alguien que pueda cocinar y los ingredientes necesarios antes de ordenar.

I've been to 13th note a few times over the years and it has been fine, not the best vegan place in glasgow, but does the job. This time i had the reuben burger - it was ok at the time, but i felt a bit queasy on the way home and had an upset stomach the next day. Also, the salad was old. Disappointing! Will think twice about returning for food.

My sister and mum took me here as a suprise, as when we eat out it's hard to find vegan or veggie options for me. We all had a fantastic meal, mum and sis still raving about the rosemary chips and korean cauliflower. Had a selection of small plates and some lovely malbec. Service was great and the place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was fantastic- the only downside was the difficulty in deciding what to have! Left with a vegan fudge unicorn which I had no room for... chocolate heaven! Would recommend a visit!

In Glasgow for a few days and popped in. Not my usual type of food but had been recommended by a friend and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, great service and would recommend a visit if you are nearby.

On a recent trip to the 13th note, we found the food to be truly awful. We ordered the gryos wrap and grilled halloumi wrap - initially the appearance of the 13th Note was really shabby, but the longer you stayed there, the more you realised it was really dirty too. While I was being served at the bar, the bar tender began talking to another customer, leaving me standing there waiting for my change, which was really rude. Meanwhile, the other bar tender was lying across a couch with his feet up/boots on where people are expected to sit. After around a 45 minute wait for our food to arrive (the place wasn't busy) we were appalled. The halloumi wrap contained a couple of small pieces of halloumi surrounded by old salad, accompanied by old salad on the side. The gryos was foul - after one mouthful I opened up the wrap to find a mush of old smelly ingredients that was completely inedible. All we could do was leave in a hurry - too angry to even approach the staff due to the already poor customer service received. Due to the extremely poor quality of the food, the dirty shabby interior of the 13th Note and poor customer service we will never be back and have already told friends to avoid.

Woah! Chinese cabbage soup and tofu pancakes were too tasty! There are no words! Beautifully presented. Front of house staff were friendly and helpful.

This was our first night in Glasgow and we were recommended the 13th Note by the guys at Primal Roast. They weren't wrong. Very good Dahl (maybe a bit TOO substantial for a starter) and nice bibmbap and curry for mains. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love meat and have always been apprehensive about the whole vegan trend but have to say, if I could make food taste as good as this, I’d switch right now! Korean cauliflower followed by Mac & Cheese- both amazing!

Recientemente visité este establecimiento para almorzar y tengo que decir que este lugar es fantástico. El menú ofrece una buena variedad de platos, por lo que hay algo para todos. Personalmente tenía el gyros kebab y fue fantástico. Es fácil decir que la comida aquí se hace con cuidado y que los empleados tienen pasión por su trabajo. También hay una buena selección de menús de postres en oferta. El personal es muy atento para que el lugar funcione bien y se asegure de que se atienda a los clientes y que las mesas estén siempre limpias y organizadas. El ambiente es muy cálido y el hecho de que el establecimiento permita perros es una ventaja. La decoración y la estética están bien mantenidas y hay varias piezas de arte en las paredes. En general, la 13ª nota es un buen establecimiento y definitivamente regresaré. Definitivamente recomendaría visitar y visitar si estás en la zona.

Fuimos a almorzar, había estado yendo durante años, pero no había pasado mucho tiempo, 3 de nosotros (2 tenían giroscopios, 1 tenía hamburguesa de falafel). La comida era fantástica, fresca, sabrosa, bien de precio y buen tamaño protion.

Hamburgers végétariens hyper bons, joli cadre et service sympa, le tout à petits prix, n’hésitez pas.

Lunch with my daughter(veggie) and granddaughter. I'm an omnivore but do love my meat and fish so I was a bit wary but shouldn't have been. We both had the nachos with veg chilli. One of the best I've tasted, meat or veg variety. The salsa was particulary good and the side of rosemary chips were brill. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Our family had lunch here, everyone loved their food including my wife's gluten free dish, and I enjoyed a Tennet's. Really nice, helpful bartender/waiter. Recommend checking this place out.

I’ll remember this one for a long time. Crispy outside, tender inside, covered in mustard and pickles with lettuce and tomato. Huge burger and so freakin’ good! The Cajun-spiced fries were thick and delicious and the perfect side. Highly recommend.

I have to agree with Kelly below. Myself and my friend waited 50 minutes for our food as the staff just stood around chatting. Its like they think they are on holiday or something and the customers are just interrupting their good times. I found our waitress quite rude as she dismissed me when I was about to ask about my chips, which as it turned up were inside my wrap which I found pretty odd.

Check out the specials board behind the bar before ordering food. Often some great meals available for one day only which keeps it interesting and draws you back time and again. Most recent visit involved Korean pancakes. Large portion, well presented and tasted great! Great music, relaxed atmosphere and pet friendly. Recommended!

A wonderfully relaxed place with lots of light and big windows to watch the world go by. Lovely staff who are willing to chat to you if you need a chat or any information on local sites etc.

Disclaimer - I eat meat, however I thought the food here was pretty underwhelming. I had the burger - I’m not sure what the patty was but it was bland and had no bite. Expensive to at £11 for a cheeseburger putting it on par or more than many great Glasgow burgers. Service was good though.

Popped in for a bite to eat, whilst on holiday in Glasgow. It was a great find! For a Vegan, the food couldn't be faulted - i had a vegan sausage wrap, which was substantial and the sausage was the best I've ever tasted. Despite being full, i had to try a desert and chose the Berry Pie, which was a gastronomic delight - amazing pastry and not too sweet. The non-dairy ice cream was fab too ... just like the friendly staff!
