Tea and cake at 10 The Coffee House was a complete experience; such a tranquil atmosphere, service was exceptional and the cake was to die for! We had the half portions so we’re able to try 4 cakes, as it proved too difficult to choose between them. Would highly recommend, felt like a truly indulgent treat.

Fantastic hidden gem that uses fine ingredients in their homemade delights. Impeccable service from Chloe and interesting chat with Claire the owner. Just at the bottom of the High St but worth the walk. Support this local team who have shown great endeavour to bring a touch of class to Haworth. We've visited a few times over the years and it's always a treat. Claire is always so welcoming and her cakes and sandwiches are tasty and filling. The ingredients are first class and the cakes are the lightest I've had anywhere (and I've had a lot!). Claire takes particular trouble for visitors with dietary constraints. My wife's gluten-free sandwiches were prepared in a separate workplace and she was shown a lot of consideration. We also bought some cakes to take away and they lasted us two days, so filling were they. Whenever we're in Haworth this is one of our main destinations.

We visited here early July for coffee and cake. There is a lovely comfortable little seat outside to watch the world go by, as well as tables inside. The owner Claire was extremely welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed a selection of her beautiful home made cakes, along with a cup of lovely ground coffee. Having heard it was my birthday, Claire went to the trouble of presenting me with a cake & candle and sang me happy birthday - What a lovely gesture and it really made my day!! A gem of a place, amazing service, and fantastic cakes.

We visited Haworth for the first time this week and after reading reviews of local places to eat and drink, we were very keen to try No. 10 and see if it lived up to the hype. All I can say is, it exceeded every expectation we had and took the coffee and cake experience to a completely new level. I was lucky enough to meet Claire, the cake baking genius behind No 10 and I meant it when I told her I have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants in the past and her cakes surpassed anything I experienced in those establishments. The whole experience at No 10 was magical, the venue itself is other worldly. You feel like you’ve stepped into a stunning parallel universe where time slows down and your worries disperse. It is beautifully decorated inside and creates a wonderful retreat from “the real world”. Our server Maddie (apologies if I’ve got your name wrong) was charming, helpful and warm - full of knowledge and able to answer any questions regarding the extensive coffee selection and the cakes. It was wonderful being given the option of choosing half slices of cake in order to taste more of the range Claire had on offer. The only problem is choosing just two!! The coffee was delicious and served with style and the cakes themselves were absolutely phenomenal. I have never tasted a better cake in my (almost) 50 years of existence. The whole No 10 experience was heaven on earth, and without doubt the highlight of our stay in the village. We are already planning my 50th celebratory afternoon tea here in November as I want No 10’s cakes to be a part of my big day. I aim to spend that day enjoying the best things in life - and without a shadow of a doubt, this place is tight up there as one of my favourite things.Claire, thank you. You are inspirational and No 10 is the jewel of Haworth’s crown.

This is my first ever TripAdvisor review and going to this coffee shop was the main motivation for creating an account. I had a wonderful coffee and cake before my time slot to visit the Bronte Parsonage Museum. The Coffee I had was exceptional (No10 Exclusive Blend) and the cake is probably the best cake I have ever tasted and I genuinely mean that. The staff were exceptional - on of the girls was new and you wouldnt have guessed. They each stopped and talked about the cake and coffee and clearly knew their stuff. I felt very welcomed and I am looking forward to my next visit.

This is our second visit to the coffee house and it did not disappointment. The place itself has gorgeous decor with a really light and airy feel - the perfect place for a coffee break in our book! Service is excellent with a real personal touch, you can see the staff are working hard to ensure every order is of premium quality from the grinding of the coffee to the presentation of the cake/food. I have noticed some negative reviews about the price of the coffee/food, this is absurd in my opinion as you get what you pay for!! We were unsure of which cake to choose from to take away so the owner very kindly allowed us to try a sample of a few. Whatever you do, please try the amazing vanilla custard cake and the ginger cake as they are both absolutely delicious!!! Thank you for a lovely experience and we will be back again soon!

A spontaneous afternoon outing turned out to be one of the loveliest afternoons in quite some time after finding this beautiful tea room. We were greeted by the owner, Claire, who gave us plenty of seating options throughout the cafe. We were handed menus and talked through the specials board which consisted of a plethora of homemade treats! After much thought, we opted for two 'experience' hot chocolates and scones to share and we were not let down in the slightest... The scones were so light and buttery and the hot chocolates to die for (no need for cake unfortunately!). Nothing was too much for Claire, she made us feel so welcome and at home, a lovely owner who is clearly very dedicated and passionate about her business - thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we will be sure to return again very soon!

This is a very smart coffee house, and probably in terms of food and decor a little bit above the average. However you pay for that with fairly dainty sandwiches around £8 and cakes (albeit lovely) over a fiver. However, there were 2 issues that are worth noting. This establishment doesnt accept debit or credit cards, and the “poor signal” excuse given doesnt wash. Every other establishment in Haworth takes plastic, including the Old Registry right next door. Also, its just not acceptable in this day and age to have an old towel hung on the back of the toilet door for drying hands. Its cheap and horrible. Its a couple of weeks since our visit and one hopes that Corona virus if nothing else has prompted a change here.

I have visited 3 times now; the first 2 visits being for afternoon tea and the 3rd just for coffee and cake. All visits have been amazing. The food is exceptional. The sandwiches on the afternoon tea platters are jam packed with fillings - not cheap/boring sandwiches as is often the case in afternoon teas. The cakes are lovely and there is always so much choice it is hard to choose. What makes this slightly easier is the option to have a half portion of 2! Claire, the owner, is so lovely and welcoming, as are the staff.Highly recommend this lovely little spot!

After leaving me for a minute to come round they offered gave us menus and the cake board. The cake board looked fantastic and I wanted to try everything! We bought two slices of cake and shared between us but we were informed that we could have done a half and half and therefore tried 4 pieces of cake (could this be communicated on the cake board please?) Tea was fantastic and coffee smelled fantastic. I even tried a little as it smelt irresistible (even though it gives me indigestion!) Cake was 15/10 spot on! However, the attention to detail and pride shown in everything is objectively there for all to see. First, we were given a wonderful choice of teas and coffees. Dhil and I had a proper Yorkshire Brew while John had the more subtle Assam. Fabbeh went for coffee - I forget where it came from but somewhere African - with a promise that all the coffees and teas were fair trade and that was a mild but aromatic cup. We could not decide on cakes so Claire bought a selection. there were too many and we said we would need to take some home - no chance! there were two custardy slices, one with a mix of pecan and dates, a couple of chocolatey ones, a west african lime sponge and others. They were served with little pots of cream, creme freche and home made fruit compots. Thoroughly recommended - though where loose trousers!

Stopped in here for a little lunch and I'm sooo glad we did! It's a beautifully decorated house with the coffee shop tables downstairs. The lovely owner helped us to pick the perfect coffee choice - we got to smell the beans before and after they were ground! I ordered egg sandwich and scones with clotted cream and strawberry and rose petal jam (the owner makes herself!) They have such a lot of choice of coffees and homemade cakes, I wish I could have tried them all! Highly recommend, especially if you love 'real' coffee!!

Fancying a cup of tea and a slice of cake, after visiting all the quirky little gift shops in the lovely main street in Hawarth, we stumbled on this real gem! Started in her front room 13 years ago, the charming, lovely lady who runs this wonderful place, soon found that she had to sell her furniture in order to accommodate all the many customers wanting a slice of this wonderful experience! She makes all the amazing cakes herself, and the list of teas and coffees available is astonishing, not to mention the new addition of cocktails on offer! The rooms are so tastefully decorated, with real log fires, and the Christmas tree, (all 8 feet of it!) together with the stunning garlands adorning the mantlepiece, made the whole experience quite magical. The cakes are to die for, and the service exceptional, all in all it was by far the best place in this Bronte filled village, to stop and take a breath. It would almost be worth moving house for!

Take note of the sign half way down the Main Street that says “Eh Up! Thas more shops ‘n’ caf’s darnt Street.....because if you walk to the bottom of the street you will find this fantastic coffee shop, with super friendly staff, the coffee shop is clean, warm and welcoming with lovely decor, the staff took our order efficiently, there was some very interesting coffee and tea offerings, the coffee was ground virtually in front of us, the smell of the coffee was gorgeous, the I presume owner explained she was in the kitchen baking and came up to see if everything was ok with our coffees and cake, super friendly lady, I opted for the Gods Own Yorkshire Ginger Cake, my husband the apple and cinnamon cake, both were generous portions, fresh and delicious, really nicely presented. Loved everything about our visit here and we Highly recommend this cafe.

We visited this cozy and cute Tea room with several friends who live in Haworth. We are glad they suggested that we stop by for some tea and cake. Claire is a marvelous baker and a friendly host. A dessert and hot drink at 10 The Coffee House is a perfect way to warm up on a cool day in Haworth. It is located near the bottom of Main Street so it offers a nice break while visiting the quaint village. My husband ordered two pieces of cake and the rest of us just one and we loved them all so don't hesitate ordering and sharing the delectable sweets.

Visited on walk back from oxenhope to Keighley, and made welcome even with our muddy boots, backpack and trek poles. Yes it isn't cheap but worth every penny. The tea and coffee menu is a bit overwhelming - I didn't realise there were so many types, but the owner took her time to find the right bean for my husband's coffee, letting him smell the bean both before and after grinding. The idea of being able to order 2 half portions of different cakes is inspired. The rooms felt fresh and we weren't rushed. Only downside is we found this at the end of our holiday so can't work out way through the entire cake menu

This quaint little tearoom serves a variety of teas and coffees as well as a variety of delicious homemade cakes. Claire, the baker, is a very attentive host and kindly offered to make my husband a cream-free strawberry meringue (allowed on his special diet plan). I had the date & pecan loaf, and my daughter had the lime & coconut sponge. This isn't the cheapest tearoom I have visited, but it has quality and good customer service in very pleasant surroundings.

Visited with a friend who had been recommended to visit. Large choice of coffee, a bit pricey though. Chose a coffee not had before and it was nice but nothing special Plum Almond cake a bit stodgy and too much jam spoilt the experience; vanilla and custard cake nice and very light. If you like pretentious and twee this is the place for you. Owner was lovely and friendly but staff a bit unsure. Glad we went but won't be revisiting

My daughter-in-law and I called in last Saturday, during Haworth's 40s Weekend. Main Street was buzzing - and packed full. 10 The Coffee House was packed full too, but we fortuitously arrived as a couple left. We asked for their special afternoon tea, with small scones, jam and clotted cream - and it lived up to its name - special it was. The scones were not the usual style at all, and were very light and delicious. The jam was strawberry with an aftertaste of rose petal. Yummy! Although the café was heaving - many customers in 1940's attire - we weren't rushed at all.

This is a very special little part of the world. Cakes are scrumptious and coffee to die for. A very welcoming host who will take the time to chat and discuss her many products with you...offering a sample if necessary. Beautiful surroundings and views. It is a bit pricey but we'll worth it. It is a treat worth paying for if only for the once but believe me once tried you will do it again. We will definitely return and sample the latte and cappuccino the host has promised is worth a try and if she ever gets a licence I promised to sample her Irish coffee. We will of course be wanting more cake. It truly is a special place. ☺

After being ushered in and putting our own tables together we were given menus and promptly ignored for a good 15 minutes. No indication of an order being taken despite two members of staff being about. Had to leave and find somewhere else to go. Looked to be a nice environment. Such a shame!

Called in for coffee and cake today, realised we needed to really consider what variety of coffee and tea we wanted. Don't expect to be in and out for a quick cuppa here, it's a place to appreciate flavour. The cakes we had were first class, made by the proprietor, date and pecan really delicious. Consequently prices are higher than most other tea shops on Main Street, but if you want quality, we would highly recommend it.

We caled here twice, once for morning tea which was excellent and then again for afternoon tea and scones. All very nicely served and consumed at nice small tables overlooking the countryside. You must calll in and have either a tea or a cup of real coffee. We learnt that there's no instant coffee here.

Found this coffee house in Howarth. At the bottom of Main Street. Opened the door to find a cosy welcoming atmosphere and a lovely log burning fire.Had coffee hubby had the moist orange cake I had a egg mayonnaise sandwich. Both were delicious. The staff were so friendly and gave excellent service. We had to wait a while for my sandwich as it was freshly made. Given the surroundings and the sandwich when it arrived the wait was worth it.We even received a complimentary coffee for our wait. Would certainly recommend this place.

The food here is good and have never had anything sub standard quality wise. The big issue for me is inconsistency of portion sizes. I mainly get the salad box, depending on who serves you, there is a massive swing in how much you get. I always get the same things in the salad so it easy to compare like for like. Somedays the box is bursting at the seams while others it is 3/4 full. This really puts me off, especially when the person behind me gets served by the ‘generous’ one.
