Awesome DIY gig space and sound was awesome

Hosting anti-Semitic events, grimy, and unfriendly/hostile (to certain groups).

yet again bands ran so late that we missed the band we had paid to see! thanks to all involved. this is an ongoing problem at this venue

Great little anarchist club. Nice bar. The drinks are insanely cheap. The bartenders are volunteers so be nice to them! The sound in the room is great for bands and there is a library on the 3rd floor. It’s the 2nd largest Anarchist library in Europe. Trough urinal.

Really nice members club where I felt super safe as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as being alternative in my fashion senses. Plenty of space to chill out and lots of interesting literature available to read in the library. The bar has really reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Only down point is accessibility which is difficult/impossible for those with disabilities or pushchairs. This is due to steep spiral stairs and no lift available.

A great venue for live music, it is very quirky inside over multiple floors, very friendly vibe, love the alternative feel.

The 1in12 club is one is one of the only safe spaces in Bradford. Been going to the club since I was around 15 years old and it's the bees knees. 32 now and it's not changed much. Amazing establishment full if history and check out its website for more info. Ace cafe, top (literally) tier library! 40 years and rosing.

Excellent night out. Very good beer at a good price. The gigs are excellent. Very friendly and inclusive. Long may it last.

Collectively-run. Solid building, with lots of character. The best punk gigs in Bradford can be found here. Full of great, welcoming people [NO NAZI BONEHEADS]; plenty of local & European booze; awesome vegan food; and even a library upstairs (for, you know, if you fancy doing a bit of reading)...

Brilliant place mainly younger people these days but all ages welcome.

Bradford's famous Anarchist club has now been here, well organised and well-run, for over 30 years. It comprises a library, cafe, member's bar, and gig space. There are regular gigs (mainly punk) and small political events. Membership and attendance has declined significantly since the 1980's, when Bradford had a rich and thriving Anarchist scene, but the 1 in 12 is now a piece of Bradford'#s radical history, and still going strong.

On first impressions I did wonder where my daughter had taken me, however, after spending a couple of hours here I found it to be a very welcoming, friendly and above all safe environment. The drinks where reasonably priced and the ethos of the club is excellent, encouraging the members to take ownership of their own social activities. I shall call again next time I am in Bradford
